Mapping and analyzing of signal coverage of 4G/5G mobile networks
Baránek, Michal ; Polák, Ladislav ; Kufa, Jan
This paper addresses the enhanced measurement of signal coverage, capacity, and reliability in mobile networks, particularly with the growing prevalence of 4G and 5G technologies. Given the escalating importance of these networks in everyday activities, there arises a demand for open-source solutions to evaluate and enhance their performance effectively. The objective of this research is to analyze gathered data to pinpoint areas necessitating network enhancements and to develop opensource software and hardware solutions for extracting essential performance metrics (KPIs) from 4G/5G networks. The proposed system offers an interface for assessing network performance and signal coverage, enabling cost-efficient measurements across diverse environments.
Cell-cell communication analysis in single-cell and spatial transcriptomics
Laitl, Matouš ; Valihrach, Lukáš (advisor) ; Pfeiferová, Lucie (referee)
Intercellular communication orchestrates important tissue processes in all multicellular organisms. Recent advantages in single-cell and spatial transcriptomics unveil new possibilities in analysing cell-cell communica- tion. Up-to-date workflows of both revolutionary methods are described and complemented with relevant novel tools. By merging detailed genome- wide single-cell sequencing information with preserved spatial context, it is possible to capture tissue organisation in great detail. Knowledge-graph- based tool SpaTalk is used to reveal signalling pathways in mouse brain after cerebral ischaemia. The results show significant role of adhesion-related and tissue-densification-related signalling events in the intercellular communica- tion at the lesion border. Detailed signalling mechanisms among proliferating microglia, astrocytes, and oligodendrocytes ongoing in the lesion are also re- vealed.
Development of solution for analysis and vizualization of LoRa network
Meško, Tomáš ; Věchet, Stanislav (referee) ; Hadaš, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the development of an interface designed to analyse and visualize the data collected from wireless microcontroller-based axes in a LoRa network. The type of interface chosen was a web page. The web page provides a visual display of the measured sections and plots the characteristic data in graphs. MySQL database structure was chosen as the storage method for the collected data.
Web for Displaying Archive Materials
Šesták, Pavel ; Veigend, Petr (referee) ; Rozman, Jaroslav (advisor)
The aim of the thesis is to unify the data of the individual archives into one system, within which the user will be able to search and view the data. In particular, it is about scanned archival materials and their metadata. The thesis describes the different types of archival data and analyses the current systems. The thesis compares four scraping systems on the basis of dataset size, missing values and consistency between datasets. The archival imaging system is then modeled using behavioral and structural UML diagrams. The work also includes a graphical design produced in Figma. The thesis also includes a description of the implementation, testing and deployment procedure using Docker on the school infrastructure.
Tool for User-Defined Publication Output from Input Text Data
Novák, Michal ; Bidlo, Michal (referee) ; Strnadel, Josef (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis focuses on the design and implementation of a tool intended for creating publication outputs from input text data. The aim of this thesis is to design and implement a universal and modular program that can transform raw (serialized) data supplemented with user configuration into visual representation that can then be used in publications. Thesis explores sources of information, their types, and usage. Additionally, common formats for serialized and visualized data are analysed and a research of methods and approaches to data visualization is conducted. The individual components and approaches to tool design are explained, followed by a description of implementation. At the end, the tool is tested by users. Results of these tests are then used for evaluation of the quality of implementation.
Algorithms and Methods of Statistical Processing of Q Sorting
Burešová, Zuzana ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor thesis was to learn about Q-methodology, create a Q-sort for test data extraction, convert test data into JSON format, experiment with data visualization and evaluation, and create a library for evaluating and visualization of the Q-sort data. The paper includes a report on the technologies used and a description of each tool implemented in the developed library. My main focus was on data visualization, where I experimented with different graphs and visualization libraries. With this library, the user can easily evaluate and visualize the data obtained from the Q-sort.
Market segmentation using statistical methods
Bystřická, Michaela ; Marciánová, Pavla (referee) ; Schüller, David (advisor)
The thesis is focused on the segmentation of customers of selected summer swimming pool. The first part of the thesis is devoted to the theoretical concept of the chosen issue. In the analytical part, a summer swimming pool is presented and selected analyses are carried out. The analytical part also includes a questionnaire survey. In the last part of the thesis, measures are proposed that would lead to an increase in the level of services for the selected customer segment.
Design of Automation of Reporting Processes Using Business Intelligence
Schwarz, Ivo ; Klusák, Aleš (referee) ; Kříž, Jiří (advisor)
The bachelor thesis focuses on the design and implementation of automation of reporting processes at TEDOM Energie using Business Intelligence (BI) tools. The aim is to increase the efficiency of data processing and the speed of decision-making processes through modern BI technologies. The thesis analyzes the current state of the reporting system, identifies key issues, and proposes solutions to overcome them. It includes theoretical foundations such as the basic principles and components of BI, and a practical part, which deals with the selection and implementation of suitable BI tools and technologies. The result of the thesis is a design that was implemented and subsequently evaluated in terms of data processing efficiency and accuracy. The work demonstrates how BI tools, especially Microsoft Power BI, can transform processes in an organization and contribute to a better understanding and utilization of corporate data for strategic decision-making.
Support Tools for Verifying Human Ability to Detect Deepfakes
Potančok, Patrik ; Malinka, Kamil (referee) ; Firc, Anton (advisor)
Cieľom tejto práce je vytvoriť webovú aplikáciu s použitím PHP a MySQL, ktorá bude testovať schopnosť ľudí rozpoznať deepfake nahrávky a pritom zbierať ich údaje ako dátum narodenia, rodný jazyk, znalosti ďalších jazykov, koľkokrát a ako dlho počúvali nahrávku a počet správnych odpovedí. Aplikácia zahŕňa správu nahrávok a používateľov, a možnosť exportu údajov používateľov vo formáte CSV. Aplikácia bola implementovaná s použitím Laravel, Vue.js a MySQL.
Analysis and Visualization of Brno Traffic Data
Ondrušková, Magdaléna ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Hynek, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this work was to analyze two traffic datasets from the Waze navigation application and to create a web application to process, analyze and visualize the results. The web application is intended to serve not only the citizens of the city Brno, but also to the staff of the transport department for better understanding and more efficient transport planning. The application is implemented using the FastAPI framework and the React library. In cooperation with the staff of the transport department, the application has been tested by real users. The results of this work are a web application that allows users to analyze traffic on selected streets and routes and better understand and define the most critical sections for traffic in the city of Brno, with the potential to expand to other cities.
