Handling equipment for metal sheets
Gazdič, Lukáš ; Malášek, Jiří (referee) ; Frühbauer, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on the design and construction of sheet metal handling equipment. In this thesis, research, analysis and evaluation of various alternative solutions and the actual design of the manipulator with strength analyses using FEA is carried out. The important structural elements of the manipulator are calculated and strength checked using FEA method. This work consists of a technical report and drawings. The drawing documentation shows in 2D, a drawing of the overall assembly and detailed drawings of the components.
Application of modern project management tools
Moravčík, Tomáš ; Sobola, Martin (referee) ; Trtílek, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis focuses on the application of modern project management tools in construction, specifically the use of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and the Common Data Environment (CDE). The thesis demonstrates how these tools can improve efficiency, communication, and construction quality using the example of the Nordcity Obchodná office building project in Žilina. The theoretical part explains the basic concepts and analyzes the current use of BIM and CDE. The practical part includes a case study comparing traditional project management with the implementation of these tools. The results show that BIM and CDE can significantly contribute to better time, cost, and quality management of the project.
Wood chip belt conveyor
Kamínek, Jan ; Pokorný, Přemysl (referee) ; Malášek, Jiří (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis in the introduction contains research on the topic of the belt conveyor and an analysis of the anchoring of the conveyor. In the following chapters there is a design and functional calculation of a belt conveyor for transporting wood chips with an assumed specific weight 650 kgm-3. The belt conveyor was designed with a transport distance of 19 m, a height difference of 3 m and a transport performance of 19,000 kg·h-1. A more detailed analysis of the properties of the transported material is also carried out. Finally, the strength of the driven and drive shaft is verified by calculation.
Assessment of the reconstruction of an existing family house and the construction of a completely new one in Žabovřesky
Císařová, Kateřina ; Doležalová, Monika (referee) ; Čech, Josef (advisor)
The diploma thesis addresses the design and assessment of the advantage of reconstruction of an existing family house and construction of a new house on its site in Brno-Žabovřesky. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate whether it is preferable for the owner of a particular building to invest in the reconstruction of the existing family house or to remove it and build a entirely new house. The thesis includes a practical analysis that focuses on the location of interest, describes the object in detail and specifies the requirements and documents necessary for the implementation and evaluation of each design options. On the basis of this analysis, drawings are prepared for both design options within the scope of the architectural and construction design documentation for the joint permit. The textual part of the thesis contains a verbal description of both design variants and also deals with the theoretical background of the examined issues. The thesis concludes with a comparison and evaluation of the individual proposals. Detailed itemized budgets are also prepared as a basis for assessing the costs of both the reconstruction and the construction of the new building.
The Quiet Omnipresence
Bodlák, Ondřej ; Dvořák, Vojtěch (referee) ; Mikyta, Svätopluk (advisor)
The work, entitled The Quiet Omnipresence, themes the metaphor of grid and line as representing the source elements necessary for the growth of whole forms. It relies on a study of landscape and urban scenery, its quiet ubiquitous mechanisms and processes. The jumble of lines creates a sensorially elusive monochromatic surface that the observer can encounter when looking at organic structures for longer periods, as well as industrially tuned urban compositions. It explores the relationship of order and chaos in its opposite but paradoxically mutually inexorable connotations. The work mostly relies on a specific and not uncommon type of space often right in the middle of cities – vague terrains, places forgotten and deliberately overlooked, in which banal biological processes slowly take the helm determining the direction of a seemingly random development.
Disposer
Urban, Miroslav ; Frühbauer, Jiří (referee) ; Malášek, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis focuses on the constructions of waste disposers. It contains a description of creating a new structural design. It was created from a research. The research is about the types of machine constructions in this area. Bachelor's thesis is also about placement of these machines in the crushing lines. Bachelor's thesis also contains an overview of manufacturers and companies that deal with the constructions in the question. The design was constructed based on the DUC16 from the company Unikasset. regarding the waste crusher DUC16 from Unikasset. After carrying out the balance sheet and functional calculations, the waste crusher was constructed. The output of the work is an assembly drawing.
Analysis and design of the use of the existing building in the village of Stařeč
Janovská, Dagmar ; Hlavinková, Vítězslava (referee) ; Čech, Josef (advisor)
This diploma thesis introduces an analysis and a suggestion for a new usage of a structure, which is located in Stařeč, through the method of highest and best usage, otherwise known as HABU. The first part focuses on explaining terms used in the thesis. Afterwards, methods and their reasonings are explained. The next part introduces suggestions for a new usage of the structure, which are examined by HABU methods, inappropriate suggestions are eliminated. The chosen suggestion reaches the best and highest usage for Stařeč.
Development of water show control
Havran, Lukáš ; Pruša, Radomír (referee) ; Štěpánek, Vojtěch (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design methodology for controlling a digital water curtain. The research section focuses on analyzing control systems suitable for this technology and on software tools that enable the implementation of a user application designed to control the water curtain. Based on the research, the practical part involves the implementation of a user application for composing and executing water scenes. Another aspect of the practical part is the selection and programming of control hardware that manages the water jets. The control principle relies on communication between the user application and the control hardware. The practical part is further complemented by the construction design of the digital water curtain in the form of a 3D model, which includes all construction elements, including the control hardware.
Analysis of prices in the construction industry in recent years
Papoušek, Lukáš ; Hanák, Tomáš (referee) ; Tuscher, Martin (advisor)
The Bachelor's thesis deals with the analysis of trends in the prices of apartments, houses, and construction materials in the Czech Republic over the past ten years. This analysis examines how macroeconomic conditions, legislative changes, and significant economic events have influenced these prices, thereby providing a deeper understanding of the dynamics and dependencies in the construction sector. The results of the analysis provide a deeper understanding of the dynamics and dependencies of prices in various areas of construction and can serve as a valuable basis for the strategic decision-making of construction companies, developers, investors, political and economic decision-makers. The thesis thus contributes to a broader understanding of price trends in construction and their impact on the overall economy.
Construction of a small portable 3D printer
Netušil, Jan ; Vyroubal, Petr (referee) ; Bayer, Robert (advisor)
The study is dedicated to the description of 3D FDM printing technology, compares different types of 3D FDM printers and analyzes key components, especially those necessary for a stable portable 3D printer design. It also includes the specific design of the portable 3D FDM printer solution, its assembly, the actual enhancement of the design, and the design and implementation of the braking arresting elements. It also addresses the printing testing of advanced construction materials suitable for 3D FDM printing and provides a cost estimation and evaluation of the cost-effectiveness of building a portable 3D FDM printer.
