Design of Load Bearing Concrete Structure
Klodner, Jan ; Vácha, Jaroslav (referee) ; Štěpánek, Petr (advisor)
This thesis is focusing on general issues of floor concrete slabs, technology, implementation, subsoil models, calculation of internal forces and design approaches. Based on these data the thesis monitors the behaviour of floor slabs according to the various parameters. It also includes three versions of design of the real floor slab, made of steel fibre reinforced concrete, reinforced concrete and prestressed concrete. Economic comparison is also included. In addition it developes a design of the chalice base and reinforced concrete column of the supporting hall system, instead of the original usual base with steel column.
Design of structures with FRP reinforcement
Matušíková, Anna ; Vácha, Jaroslav (referee) ; Štěpánek, Petr (advisor)
This diploma thesis presents available FRP software for calculating load bearing capacity of the structures reinforced with FRP and compares them between each other. Furthermore theory and algorithm of my own software is presented here. Load bearing capacity of structures which are reinforced with non-metallic reinforcement and loaded by combination of normal force and bending moment can be solved by my programme. Effects of high temperatures on the concrete structures can be included in the calculation. In the second part of the thesis is calculated load-bearing capacity and deflection of the real beam reinforced with FRP reinforcement and load-bearing capacity of member with FRP reinforcement with effect of elevated temperature. This has been done using my software. Comparison of results from hand calculation and laboratory load-bearing testing is done at the end. This laboratory testing was accomplished by Institute of Concrete and Mansory Structures at our faculty.
Design and optimization of the arch structure
Herka, Martin ; Vácha, Jaroslav (referee) ; Štěpánek, Petr (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with a design of concrete arch structure. There was made a preliminary design of concrete structure of a buried arch bridge. Subsequently was the shape of arch structure optimized to oblige the requirements of real buried arch bridge structure. There is included static calculation of the ecoduct construction. It is developed detailed drawings
Approximation of Human Behaviour in Case of Double Integrator System Control Using McRuer Models
Vácha, Jan ; Mihálik, Ondrej (referee) ; Jirgl, Miroslav (advisor)
In this bachelor's thesis, the basics of modeling human-machine systems using McRuer's theory for single-input systems are described. The main goal of the work is to verify the validity of McRuer's theory on a wider range of measured subjects for two different controlled systems. The thesis describes the creation of a scheme for measuring the responses of a human operator in the form of a system controller, and also describes the function and principle of scripts used to simplify the evaluation of measured data. Subsequently, the data are processed and an evaluation of McRuer's theory is carried out.
Transformation of Prague brownfields: Waltrovka case study
Vácha, Jan ; Nemeškal, Jiří (advisor) ; Pospíšilová, Lucie (referee)
The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of brownfields, their definition, classification and comparison with competing greenfields. The first objective of this thesis is locating brownfields in Prague and their subsequent statistical analysis. The second goal of the thesis is to analyse the processes of change that have taken place on the site of the former Walter aircraft engine factory in Jinonice, where a brownfield has been revitalised into completely new residential- commercial district, which has a great impact not only on its residents but also on the wider area of Jinonice. In the context of the revitalisation, the thesis also deals with the sociogeographical analysis of Waltrovka and an interesting part is the chapter about genius loci that is a very prominent part of this modern neighbourhood. Key words: brownfield, revitalization, Prague, Waltrovka, genius loci, ecological burden

I. Název bakalářské práce: Foundation and building history of St. Nicholas Church in the period of top and late Middle Ages and early modern period in the town České Budějovice1 II. Anotace: In my work I deal with not only the oldest period of building of St. Nicholas Church in the town České Budějovice in the 13-th and 14-th century, but I include new information into regional and church- administrative context. According new connections from literature written and non-written sources and new information I devide the building history into 3 periods connected with economical power and policy of town and reformatory transformation of the Church. The first period defines years 1265-1279, i.e. beginning of building the Church and date of it's interruption of money shortage. Maybe before 1297 was consecrated not finished. The second period defines years 1297-1335 and during this period was building of the Church. Last period is after 1335. And since that we have big source fund showing us Church area, altar beneficious and stay of clergy. We can see, that these historical periods are connected with economical and political power, which after 1265 looked for it's home. In the next part of my work I deal with foundation of town rectory, which was consecutive created besides much older, non-town rectory. The...
The principles of European environmental law
Vácha, Jan ; Franková, Martina (advisor) ; Žákovská, Karolina (referee)
- Principles of European environmental law The main ambition of this thesis is to examine the principles of European environmental law. To this forminable challenge is first of all very useful to understand, which role the principles generally play in the system of law. That is why we have to focus on this phenomenon from the position of theory of law, when we try to put forward the definition of principles. We also draw the attention to the differences, which contradistinguish the principles from other rules of law and another matters, such as values and policies, to which they can be easily interchanged. We demonstrate the variety of functions which the principles perform in legal order as well as their subserviency during the course of decision making process. Henceforth we devide the principles into specific groups in compliance with their different characteristic features and so create the typology of principles. All these problems we try to solve in the first part of this thesis. In the second part of this work we target closely to the principles of European environmental law. We identify all the positions in primary law, where are the principles set in and we also learn , that the position of principles in the primary european law had to be laborously gained. We also discover the specific...

v anglickém jazyce The book presents an array of woven patterned fabrics from church treasuries in the territory of the Diocese of České Budějovice. The examples provided originate in the period spanning from the 16th to the 18th century, and they represent only a small selection of the surviving collections. The focal point consists of a magnificent collection of textiles from the 18th century, documenting the development of the individual historical spheres of decors overlapping into corresponding variants of design. The variability of patterns pertaining to this century is unusually high, and it combines a large number of sources of inspiration with roots in exotic overseas countries. The catalogue entries are furnished with brief technological analyses that offer an insight into the textile production of the respective periods and, at the same time, they provide researchers with a deeper understanding of the individual fabrics on display. Although the area of the Diocese of České Budějovice to a certain degree exceeds the boundaries of the Region of South Bohemia, the collections examined were, in their majority, imported from western European countries manufacturing weaving products of world renown. The catalogue outlines the historically significant import of luxury goods reflecting a variety...

I also refer to the fact that the european and international legal framework dealing with the working time is very extensive and difficult to interpret. It brings along burdensome work for the national legislators to duly transpose the requirements of the european and international legal standards.
