Variable-sweep wing
Janiš, Martin ; Navrátil, Jan (referee) ; Dubnický, Lukáš (advisor)
This thesis summarizes the variable-sweep wing technology used in supersonic military aircraft from the second half of the 20th century. Aircraft with this technology are universally used today. The thesis contains a list of all active aircraft. Furthermore, the~effects of the variable wing sweep technology on the aircraft in terms of its flight characteristics, structural loads and maintenance requirements are described. The output of~the thesis is an analysis of a specific design solution on a selected type of aircraft and a general discussion of wingbox force loading. From these structural loads, the aerodynamic balancing problem is further addressed. The thesis concludes with a technical evaluation of the technology from the obtained findings. Its pros and cons are highlighted, from which the thesis explains a decline in use of the technology, while proving the opposite in its still possible use today.
Accessibility of Transport Nodes from the Perspective of People with Disabilities
Navrátil, Jan ; Pavlovský, Tomáš (referee) ; Tichý, Jan (advisor)
The bachelor thesis entitled Accessibility of Transport Nodes from the Perspective of People with Disabilities deals with selected most important transport nodes in Havlíčkův Brod. The first part of the thesis deals with the theory that describes the individual elements that are within the framework of safe and barrier-free use of roads. The second part of the thesis is practical, where suggestions for improving the selected routes are made. Accessibility of transport nodes from the perspective of people with disabilities is a document that serves as a concept to develop safety and accessibility of transport nodes in cities. This work can also serve as a basis for investors who want to build or repair places that are not easily accessible and potentially dangerous for people with disabilities. The work is created with the intention that people with disabilities can safely complete the routine journeys they use every day. The adaptations are designed for all types of disabled people, which include those with physical, visual and hearing impairments. The town of Havlíčkův Brod was chosen for this work due to the fact that there is a large transport hub in the form of a train and bus station, which are complemented by public transport stops. The routes connecting the individual objects are analysed in terms of barrier-free use and their current condition.
General barrier-free routes in Jihlava
Navrátil, Jan ; Radimský, Michal (referee) ; Matuszková, Radka (advisor)
This thesis deals with the development of a master plan for barrier-free modifications of individual routes in the city of Jihlava. The work is divided into two parts. The first part is theoretical and describes the elements and requirements for barrier-free use of roads. The second part is practical and contains proposals for improving the quality of routes in terms of barrier-free accessibility. This part also analyses the surfaces, gradients and existing treatments of the individual routes.
Comparison of FEM models using 1D and 2D elements used to flutter analysis
Zubaľ, Filip ; Navrátil, Jan (referee) ; Šplíchal, Jan (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with flutter, which is one of the most dangerous dynamic aeroelastic phenomena in aviation. The work includes the creation process and subsequent flutter analysis of two FEM models of the wing of the BUT 051 Ray experimental aircraft. The goal of the work is to compare individual FEM models and determine the critical flutter speed, to evaluate the effectiveness and usability of FEM models created by 1D or 2D elements.
Automatic documentation tool for PLC software
Navrátil, Jan ; Štohl, Radek (referee) ; Petyovský, Petr (advisor)
This thesis focuses on implementing a tool for automatic generation of diagrams from annotated source code written in Structured Text for PLC applications. The aim is to streamline the documentation process of software projects by enabling developers to automatically generate diagrams that describe the structure and behavior of their applications. The thesis further explores existing tools for diagram creation and their capabilities. Based on this exploration, a compiler is designed and implemented, which extracts relevant information from the code and generates diagrams in the standardized graphical language UML. The result is an implemented tool that allows developers to easily create and update diagrams of their applications, contributing to a faster and more accurate documentation process.
Physical Simulation in Virtual Reality
Grünseisen, Vojtěch ; Navrátil, Jan (referee) ; Pečiva, Jan (advisor)
This work describes using of SDL, OSG and ODE as tools in game development and how they can be integrated to work together. Theory about collision detection and its role in physics engine is also described. Used libraries are described as well. With this engine a game scene is created and driven. This scene contains bodies connected by ODE Joints. Scene content and application controls are meant to resemble first person shooter game style.
Wing design of competition aircraft
Jurda, Martin ; Navrátil, Jan (referee) ; Katrňák, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with wing design of the new competition aircraft for the SAE Aero Design East 2020 competition. Introduction of the thesis is focused on explanation and analysis of the rules taking into account wing design with the following analysis of the scoring equation. Following chapter deals with a research study on the concept of wing and the design of conceptual wing possibilities. Thesis continues with computational chapters containing calculations of the characteristics of designed wing and flight envelope load together with the wing load. The last part is a chapter including structural design of the wing and attachment of the wing to the aircraft.
Influence of wing design modification on aircraft polar curve
Mixová, Alexandra ; Matějů, Jiří (referee) ; Navrátil, Jan (advisor)
This thesis focuses on determining the polar curve of Roko NG aircraft, its evaluation and design of possible wing modification; on the influence of said modification on the polar curve and determination of basic flight performance. The introduction explains basic concepts and problems of aerodynamics. The following part discusses the particular type in comparison with similar ultralight aircrafts. Measurement determines the actual polar curve which can be compared to the analytically determined polar curve of the existing airplane, and to the analytically determined polar curve of the plane with modified wing. From this newly defined polar curve, the basic flight performance is expressed and compared with the flight performance of the existing aircraft.
Shadow Rendering from Omnidirectional Light Sources
Mikulica, Tomáš ; Kobrtek, Jozef (referee) ; Navrátil, Jan (advisor)
This work discusses the possibilities for shadow rendering from omnidirectional light sources using OpenGL library. In this work the Cube map shadow mapping and the Dual paraboloid shadow mapping algorithms are described. Further more, this work contains the results of a comparison of these two methods in a way of time required for shadow map creation and a comparison of visual quality of resulting shadows.
Numerical analysis of bio-mimetic concept for active flow control on wing surface
Práce pokračuje popisem a zdůvodněním volby numerické metody.
