Determination of pindolol by sequential injection analysis with chemiluminescence detection
Havelková, Jana ; Polášek, Miroslav (advisor) ; Pospíšilová, Marie (referee)
The oxidation of the drug pindolol, [1-(indol-4-yloxy)-3-(isopropylamino)-2-propanol (I)] by permanganate in the medium of aqueous H2SO4 is accompanied by the emission of chemiluminescence (CL) radiation. The CL signal is enhanced by hexametaphosphate. This CL reaction was used for devising automated sequential injection analysis (SIA) assay of I in pharmaceutical preparations. The PC-controlled SIA setup consisted of a Cavro XL 3000 2.5- ml syringe pump, Vici-Valco 10-port selection valve and Spectra-Physics FS970 flow- through fluorescence detector equipped with a lab-made CL detection module. The net CL signal of I increased by a factor of 4.4 (compared to purely aqueous test solution of I injected) if the test solution contained 80% (v/v) of methanol. Optimal order, concentrations and volumes of aspirated zones of reactants were: 43l of 80mM Na hexametaphosphate, 30 l of I in 80% (v/v) methanol, 28 l of 2M H2SO4 and 1 l of 5mM KMnO4. Calibration curve relating the intensity of CL (peak height) to the concentration of I was linear in the range 1 - 10 M I; the limit of detection (S/N = 3) was 0.15 M I. The sample throughput was 90 h-1 . The repeatability of the peak heights was characterized by RSD 1.8% for 30 replicate injections of 8 M I. The SIA-CL method was used for the assay of I in...
Selected factors of mental health as a predictor of employees' psychological capital in times of Covid-19
Havelková, Jana ; Šípová, Ivana (advisor) ; Zábrodská, Kateřina (referee)
The diploma thesis focuses on the possibilities of predicting employees' psychological capital in times of Covid-19. The theoretical part describes psychological capital (its structure, importance in the context of work environment and methods of its measurement and development). It also deals with mental health in the workplace and with selected factors of mental health (team social support, engagement, stress, qualitative and quantitative job insecurity). The empirical part of the thesis aims to verify whether selected factors of mental health can be evaluated as significant predictors of psychological capital. The research sample includes 127 employees of the business organization. The following methods were used to measure the analyzed variables: Psychological Capital Questionnaire - 12 (PCQ-12), The Team Performance Inventory (TPI - only the items "Trust, safety and support" of subscale "Participation"), Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES), Perceived Stress Scale - 10 (PSS- 10), Qualitative Job Insecurity Scale (QUAL-JIS) and Job Insecurity Scale (JIS). The results of multiple linear regression analysis show that in our study subjectively perceived level of stress (ß = -.4078, 95% CI = [-.6006, -.215], p < .001) is the strongest predictor of psychological capital. The analysis further shows...
Influence of cooling of peripheral parts of lower extremities on postural stability
Havelková, Jana ; Bitnar, Petr (advisor) ; Pintarová, Sylva (referee)
This thesis examines the effect of cooling of peripheral parts of lower limbs on postural stability. The introduction describes the mechanisms how cold effects the human organism and individual tissues exposed to cold, such as skin, muscles, tendons, ligaments and nerves. In addition, postural stability, etiology of balance disorders and their implications are described. The aim of the practical part of the thesis is to assess the impact of cooling of feet on postural stability and also to determine the duration of such an effect. Static stability was assessed on 26 healthy individuals with a Zebris FDT-H instrument. The cooling procedure was carried out with 10-12řC water over a period of 12 minutes. Postural stability was measured 3 times during the experiment: before the cooling, immediately after the cooling and 1 minute after the cooling. The measured variables were: the 95% COP (Centre of Pressure) confidence ellipse area, COP trajectory and COP average velocity and the distribution of weight on the soles. The impact of the cooling procedure on the 95% confidence area was statistically significant. The results of other measurements also demonstrated increased values of measured variables after the cooling procedure. The persistence of the cooling effect was evaluated by comparing the first...
The subjunctive in Contemporary French and Its Application in Didactics
Havelková, Jana ; Loucká, Hana (advisor) ; Nádvorníková, Olga (referee)
Whereas in Czech there are three verb moods, in French a fourth one is to be found, being defined as the "subjunctive mood". The subjunctive does not exist in Czech which often makes it hard to handle by students as well as teachers. The main aim of the thesis is to map the ways of presenting the French subjunctive verb mood in selected grammar handbooks intended for students and teachers of French and outline the different approaches to describing its parameters. Subsequently, the second objective here is to analyse the methods of presenting the subjunctive in selected textbooks and workbooks used when teaching French at Czech schools. The thesis is divided in three parts. In the initial one, the different approach to presenting the subjunctive in the referential grammar book of P. Charaudeaua - Grammaire du sens et de l'expression is analysed together with the ones applied in the FLE grammar books by G. D. de Salins - Grammaire pour l'enseignement/apprentissage de FLE, M. Callamand - Grammatique vivante du français and in the slightly different grammar book by A. Monnerie-Goarin - Le français au présent. To be able to meet the target of the analysis and find out how a verb mood of a typologically different language is presented to an exclusively Czech audience, the Czech-written grammar book of...

Analysis of operation economic charakteristics in choice agriculture enterprise
HAVELKOVÁ, Jana
The work deals with the analysis of selected input data of one agriculture enterprise in relation to milk production. In the operating conditions evaluated indicators are: levels of nutrition, costing, cost of milk production. In this work on the basis of available data an overall evaluation of financial results in the years 2010, 2011, 2012 has been done.
The concept evaluation of nutrition in the agriculture enterprise
HAVELKOVÁ, Jana
This thesis deals with the level of nutrition of dairy cows based on assessing the need for nutrients and energy in relation to the milk yield. Under operating conditions the system of nutrition and feeding is evaluated and also analysis of selected economic indicators of milk production has been conducted. The monitored indicators of nutritional and energy values are within permitted tolerance limit of recommended values.
