Once upon a time - Images of the unknown

Master's thesis applies theme unknown landscape. The theoretical part is devoted to concept landscape, which is viewed from different perspectives in the work; from defining the landscape as a generic term through subjective perception to the possibility of its use as an imaginative space. The research part describes field research, which deals with issues of different interpretations of landscape perception by children of younger school age. Within the framework of the didactic part are presented the tasks in which the theme of an unknown country is reflected in various forms and are designed for art lessons in elementary schools. Finally practic part of my work comes out from theme unknown countryside and I try to express my own artistic expression. Gesture. Significance of an object in grey zone of public space

The dissertation thesis deals with the relation of a person towards the physical public space from the point of view of an artist/teacher in the academic milieu. The frequently discussed subject of public space is not limited to purely artistic sphere or artistic gesture. It also implies a simple transgression to everyday life related to education and cultivation. An essential part of the research is the case study at the Department of Art Education of the Faculty of Education of the Charles University, which inquires into the perception of the future pedagogues of the physical public space and how they gtranslate it into the art language. The cornerstone stimulus for the research lies in the premise that future teachers will, through the prism of their view of the worl and by their vocation influence the education of the young generation. This fact of transgression is given by the existence of the subject of Art Education where the 3D design itself plays a certain role. The research is focused on what lies behind the phenomena in the process of the creation and inception of "something new" in the physical public space. Courious World. Possibilities of application of the theme in pedagogic practise

Forman, D .: Curious World. Possibilities of applicatiom of the theme in pedagogic practise. [Diploma thesis] Prague 2015 - Charles University, Faculty of Education, Department of Fine Arts, 79 p. (Attachments 7 artistic realizations - oil paintings small and medium size) The thesis is based on a comprehensive comparsion of major interpretation avant-garde art and the modernist thinking, which determined crucially interpretation of the most important events in the art history of 20th century. This work brings together three major confrontations looks at the intentions of selected representatives of avant-garde art and focuses on problematic moment of "interruption" the progression of the avant-garde by socialist realism. Three positions are views of art theorists Clement Greenberg, Theodor Adorno and Boris Groys. Didactic part of this thesis is realized by art education series, which is inspidated by this topic. It focuses on understanding the most basic principles of geometric abstraction, constructivism and abstract expressionism by students.
