Motives for drop out of children in chosen basketball club

Title: Motives for drop out of children in chosen basketball club Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to conduct a case study via questionares and deep interviews find out reasons for drop out of female former players from the age categories 12-18 during the two last seasons from chosen basketball club. Methods: In thesis was used a quantitative method, more precisely questionnaires were sent via email to former female players and their parents. Along with in-depth interviews with three players and the club manager. For better accuracy and comparison of the results questions were constructed based on previously published studies about youth sport drop out. Results: The most important reason for drop out was feeling, that team is not interested in them. Of the ten most cited reasons two were structural and two interpersonal, six of them are intrapersonal constraints. Structural constrains appeared overall to be the least important. Volunteer motivation and care in the RunCzech running events

Title: Volunteer motivation and care in the RunCzech running events Purpose: The main aim of this master's thesis is to find the motives contributing to be a volunteer at the RunCzech running events which are organized by the Prague International Marathon. Another goal is to discover how the organizer takes care of their volunteers, and how the leadership and volunteer coordination really works. Method: For this research on volunteer motivation questionnaires were used in electronic Google forms. The link for this survey was sent via e-mail and shared via social networks. The other methods were structural and semi-structural interviews with two employees of PIM, who are responsible for their volunteers during the organisation of RunCzech running events. The results were analysed with graphs and tables in MS Excel. Results: Based on the results the survey suggests more than half of volunteers are motivated by more than one motive at once. The atmosphere during the events and new experiences are two of the most important motives for volunteers. The behaviour of volunteer leaders also has an important influence on volunteer's motivation. The interviews showed that PIM searches for volunteers primarily from high schools. Title: Development of the project "Volleyball imagined differently" Objectives: The main goal of the diploma thesis is to design a project plan which could that could be immediately applied and implemented. The partial goal of the diploma thesis is to create a background for the project plan, or rather put together a comprehensive concept of a recruitment type project including its name and basic parameters, logo, benefits, solutions and financing, which implementation could lead up to increase of the membership base of mini- volleyball in the Czech Republic,. Methods: Methodologically, the diploma work is based on qualitative research of data in the form of qualitative in-depth questioning, specifically semi-structured interviews with open questions, conducted on five respondents. The aim of the interviews was to find out how the project "Come play hockey" was build and how works, including the recruitment event "Week of hockey", and for another to find out the possibilities of accepting a recruitment type of project in a volleyball environment in the Czech Republic. Title: Interpersonal relationships and attitudes of a basketball women team Objectives: The main aim of this work is to explore interpersonal relationships in women basketball team and after that giving a feedback to the head coach of this team. The next goal is to briefly outline suggestions for players for improvement in the area of communication, relations and training process. Methods: I used a variety of methods in my thesis, the most relevant of which are the questionnaire methods or for example the sociogram method and interview. Results: The results of my work revealed both positive and negative aspects. The thesis shows that many things can be improved in this team, for example relationships and qualities of each player. On the other hand, many of the relationship connections are mutual and many of the players are aware of her roles in this team. Title: Marketing communication of running project: Sokolský běh republiky Main goal: Analysis and evaluation of marketing communication of Sokolský běh republiky in season 2019, what was the premiere season of the project. Used research methods: Goals of this thesis were accomplished with usage of qualitative research methods. First used method was semi-structured interview with a spokesperson of the Sokolský běh republiky. Another one was a participated observation and secondary internal data provided by company Raul. Additional method was electronic questionnaire that was created on internet portal vyplnto.cz. It was distributed to the responders through Facebook running groups. Responders were random runners who responded voluntary and anonymously. Results: Results revealed the quality of marketing communication of running event - Sokolský běh republiky based on the theoretical knowledge. Public opinion about existing marketing communication was also evaluated and survey's outcomes verified the public awareness of this event. Retention of youth players in Czech football

Title: Retention of youth players in Czech football Objectives: The main objective of the research of this bachelor thesis was, with the help of electronic survey, trying to find the main reasons, why male children and youth from 13 to 18 years old dropout before they reach the adult level of playing organized football. Methods: A quantitative method of electronic survey was used. The questionnaire was shared via social network (Facebook) and the comment section on the webpage eurofotbal.cz. Furthermore, the questionnaire was directly sent to former footballers. Results: The most important reason, why children and young people dropout of playing football, was interest in other things and activities. This thesis did not investigate this reason to more detail. The least important reason was insufficient money for free contributions to the clubs. In general, structural reasons turned out to be unimportant. Title: A comparison between football match organization of clubs from the first and second czech league Objectives: The main goal of the thesis is to identify and to analyze each element of the football match organization and also the program prepared for stadium visitors. Then the comparison should help to inspire each other and to improve. It should help to point out defects too. Methods: Data were collected by in-depth interviews with club's representatives and structured personal observations. Then the data were compared between each other. SWOT analysis was done based on gained information to find defects of both clubs. Results: The main result of this bachelor thesis is the comparison between match organization of clubs from the first and secon czech football league. Also, there are found solutions for all defects discovered. The solutions are based on inspiration by each other and information from theoretical part. Title: Marketing communication of the handball club TJ Sokol Nové Veselí Objectives: The following bachelor thesis is focused on creating the measures and concepts of marketing communication of the handball club TJ Sokol Nové Veselí which will lead to its improvement. Methods: Quantitative methods - such as analysis of documents and various texts, official websites and social media profiles - were used in the practical part of this thesis. Marketing research is also based on semi-structured interview with the deputy chairman of the club, and semi-structured interviews with three fans of the club. Results: This thesis has revealed that the club does not use communication tools as effectively as it could due to its capabilities. The result of this work is the concept of possible improvements, which were involved in the marketing communication of the club during the creation of the concept itself. It was mainly about improving communication with its fans on individual profiles on social networks, websites or in direct communication. To maintain the positive development of changes, it is important that there is appointed employee working in the club who will work actively in this area. Title: The perception of VAR technology by fans of Prague first league football teams Objectives: The aim of this Bachelor thesis is to find out, by means of marketing research, how fans of Prague's first league football teams perceive the current functioning of VAR technology in the football environment. Methods: In this thesis quantitative methods of data collection were used. It was a survey. The questionnaire was published electronically. The results were captured using graphs and tables. Results: Based on the information obtained from the respondents, it became clear that the vast majority of respondents perceived VAR technology positively. Migration of Czech junior hockey players

Title: Migration of Czech junior hockey players Objectives: The main objective of this thesis is to understand the relationship between migration of Czech junior hockey players and the level of their success in the NHL. To help accomplish this goal, desirable secondary data needed to be collected. One of the secondary goals of this thesis was to analyze topics and studies related to this thesis. Methods: This thesis uses quantitative research. One of crucial methods used is document analysis; analysis of related case studies and data in particular. Comparative research was also used to compare data collected in this thesis and data collected in related case studies. Correlation analysis was used to understand the relationship between migration and success in the NHL. Results: The results of this thesis follow up on related case studies in certain aspects, mainly the data gathered in said studies. Comparison of data collected in mentioned studies and this thesis proves the generally known decline of total number of Czech players drafted to and playing in the NHL. The number of Czech players in the NHL has more than halved in the last 20 years. Case studies previously done on this topic showed that Czech players who spend their junior years abroad are very unlikely to succeed in the NHL. The results...
