Start-up of a Czech company in the American business environment

The subject of my bachelor's thesis is the start-up of a Czech company in the American business environment. Main goal of the thesis is the comparison of the administrative and legal boards relevant to a company establishment in both Czech and American business environment, with emphasis on criteria of the establishment from the view of a foreigner and creating a manual for a small-sized company establishment in the USA. The first part of the thesis includes general theoretical knowledge, gained from the recognized literature. The second part focuses on the specific company step-by-step establishment based on the business plan. The output of the comparative analysis is the recommendation if and under which conditions, it is worth creating such a company; which company type is the best to choose and with what risks may occur. At the end, there are found all the important conclusions that arise from the previous parts.
Feasibility study of a project of extension of an equestrian centre

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate the viability of an investment project which is concerned by extension of an equestrian centre. Two main components of the project are the construction of a new mounted riding hall and the extension of the stables for clients' horses. The evaluation will be based on a feasibility study. The thesis analyses the reasons for realising the project, describes the factors which influence its feasibility and evaluates their impact. The result of the study is summarized in the recommendation for the investors. This recommendation will serve as a basis for the decision making of both the investor and the current owner.

This thesis focuses on finding the possible causes of failure of small businesses. It defines specific situations that may arise during the business of providing hospitality and sports services. It contains opinions of the customers and the employees. The aim of this thess is to assess the situation in a particular small business, to find and to specify the causes of the failure of the company and then to propose possible changes and solutions.

This bachelor thesis follows the importance of ethics in today's business environment. It examines what is the understanding of ethical principles and then their implementation in business. At the same time it critically assesses the impact of ethical perspectives on the example of a specific company. The aim of the study is to evaluate ethical potentials in the company from the perspective of the student's University of Economics. The bachelor thesis is divided into two main parts. The first part presents a view of ethics in today's economic environment. The second part is based on an analysis of the far-reaching ethical misconduct of Siemens company, which is completed of the aimed interview with the director of the department of ethical business of the company, Ing. Veronica Sedlářová and then putting concrete examples of rectifications from the environment of the international company. Based on the collected and published facts and information are designed ways how to integrate ethics into the business environmentu.

This thesis deals with the process of strategic management. The paper includes the description of its components, strategic analysis, suggestion of strategic alternatives and defining the strategy of the specific company. The work consists of two parts: theoretical and analytical. The first part covers the theoretical foundations related to the strategic management process and information about the specifics of strategic management in a small business, as well as the specifics of small business in Russia. The analytical part includes the description of the industry of the chosen company, an introduction to its history, determination of the mission, vision, objectives, the strategic analysis of the company, proposal of possible strategic alternatives and determination of the resulting strategy. The goal of the paper is to define explicitly the current strategy of the chosen company as well as to suggest other strategic alternatives of company's survival and development.

The aim of this thesis is to create a business plan for a company preparing healthy snacks. The target group are people working in major business centers in Prague. Another objective is to verify the feasibility and viability of the project. The theory section presents the potential users of the business plan, the general principles for its processing and describes each part of the business plan in detail. The practical section consists of the complete business plan for the project. Great attention is given to describing the product and preparing a comprehensive financial plan, which also includes verifying the feasibility of the project.
The use of social sites in the fashion industry the role of fashion bloggers and marketing trends in 21st century

World as known in the 21st century is influenced by modern technologies, social sites are counted as one of them. If a fashion company wants to succeed in the globalized world, in which thanks to the Internet everything is affordable, this company has to build a positive relationship with its customers. One way how to do it is using correct marketing strategies and tools. This can be done in cooperation with fashion bloggers. They are building a big influence on their social sites profiles, reaching millions of followers from all over the world. This diploma thesis conducts a survey on this topic while describing one of each tool of fashion blogs and also principles of the fashion industry. Later on these findings are deepen by studying how the best international and Czech fashion blogs work in the reality. The end also covers a different point of view - experiences of a fashion company.
Business plan of a new company

The aim of this Master's Thesis is to set up an initial business plan of the ice cream shop in the busy touristic area of the capital city of Prague. The thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part deals with the analysis of the small and medium enterprise segment in the Czech Republic and the local entrepreneurial environment in comparison with other European countries according to regularly compiled international reports. Additionally, an analyses of specific consumer behaviour will be carried out. The end of the theoretical part introduces the generally recommended structure of a business plan describing closer its respective parts. The practical part applies this structure into practise based on the example of the initial business plan in the traditional ice cream branch. The plan presents a new concept of selling the ice cream including the supplement products. It strives to reflect the up-to-date market needs which were revealed through the conveyed market research. The output of this thesis presents the conclusion regarding the feasibility and attractiveness of this contemplated project that can subsequently serve as a material for the internal management.
Opportunities in expanding to foreign markets of small and medium-sized enterprises

This master thesis aims to explore the conditions of small and medium-sized enterprises in expanding to foreign markets and to find opportunities that will help these businesses to grow. By opportunity it is meant the company's own effort, or state and non-state support of SME's. In the thesis there is analyzed the situation of SME's in the Czech market and the services and support that businesses can use while expanding abroad, it also analyses the modern methods in this area. The aim of the thesis is to analyze trends in the field of internationalization of SMEs, to identify the key needs of Czech companies and to compare them with the actual support offered in the Czech market. Based on a comparison with foreign practice, namely New Zealand, it should propose new ways and opportunities in the process of expansion.
