Crisis intervention via electronic communication (on-line chat, on-line videochat)

This diploma disertation deals with the topic of on-line crisis intervention (KI further on in the text) in the Czech Republic (CR), specifically the service functioning of the online chat and videochat. This topic has not been paid attention to so far. The topic concerned is a rather new service area which provides service to the clients in a difficult situation on the internet and which has been working for past few years in a few KI centres (workplaces). No professional has tried to search it systematically or describe it in more detail yet. Considering the fact the internet is a widely used medium in our population nowadays, a high future potential of these services can be expected in the field of psychosociology. Therefore this diploma disertation aims to give a detailed description of the on-line chat and videochat functioning and necessary connections at KI centres (workplaces) in order to create a quidebook to the basics of these services for specialists and amateurs who are interested in this topic. Role of nonprofit organizations in economy : relationship between nonprofit sector and state

This bachelor thesis aims to examine the role of nonprofit sector in economy and its relationship with state. Firstly, it covers the topic from theoretical point of view. It is trying to answer the question why the nonprofit organizations exist and how can their relationship with state look like. The second part analyzes the nonprofit sector in two model states - in the Czech Republic and in Finland. Among others it covers the history of nonprofit sector, its scope in economy, its financing and the structure of nonprofit sector. The final part contains an interpretation of situation in both of the model states based on covered theories. Analysis shows that there are certain important similarities in both states while the reasons for such similarities are quite different.

Contemporary e-government politics and digital divide dilemma

Práce se zabývá politikami e-governmentu a problematikou digitální propasti. V úvodní části se věnuje teoretickým východiskům, podmínkám budování elektronické státní správy a překážkám v podobě digitálních propastí ve společnosti. Další část rekapituluje vývoj e-governmentu v České republice a v Evropské unii a představuje současné politiky a řešení. Závěrečná část práce představuje informační společnosti třech vyspělých evropských států - Finska, Německa a Estonska. Jednotlivé kapitoly rozebírají vývoj e-governmentu v těchto státech a zároveň odhalují digitální propasti, se kterými bojují. V případě Estonska jsou navíc popsány i celostátní elektronické volby, které tato země realizovala jako první na světě.

Active labour market policy

From seventies of 20th century was in western Europe high and longterm growth of rate of unemployment. With this grew also importance of labour market policy. First were used especially pasive measures. But soonly it turned out that against unemployment must be fighted actively. The importance of active labour market policy grew with the growth of rate of unemployment. In Czech Republic came up the problem of unemployment in nineties. The work deals with usage of instruments of ALMP in Europe and Czech Republic. It explores the efects and contributions of ALMP. It evaluates particular used measures and gives the recommendations how to use ALMP. The end is concentrated on Moravian-Silesian region which is one of the most problematic locality. Reading and its role in the information society

Práce se zabývá čtením a jeho významem v informační společnosti. V úvodní části jsou definovány pojmy čtení a informační společnost a jejich vzájemný vztah. Následující kapitol^ se zabývají čtenářem, jeho charakteristikou, vývojem, motivací ke čtení a faktory, u které jeho četbu ovlivňují. Dále se práce zabývá samotným procesem čtení, rychlostí čtení a čtenářskými návyky. Zmíněny jsou také rozdíly mezi četbou odborné literatury a beletrie. Samostatná kapitola je věnována knihovnám a jejich roli v životě čtenářů a při podpoře čtení. V dalších kapitolách jsou popsány nej významnější výzkumy týkající se čtení a četby, které proběhly v České republice i po celém světě. Závěrečná část prácefvenuje mezinárodním organizacím, které se zabývají čtením, jeho podporou a rozvojem.

Assessing of the current situation, historical research and design of the reconstruction of selected area in "Průhonický park"

At this thesis, there was rated the current status of choosed part of Průhonický park near
Prague, based on inventory. Also there was realized historical exploration and detailed photodocumentation.
Then design was realized, based on these sources.
At the literature review, there were detaily solved history and rise of landscaped park.
Also, there were described recovery of historical gardens ways and conditions, Průhonický park
is one of them. Also, important composite elements were characterized for land "Fan of vistas",
concretely the vista and water surface reflection. At the end, there is descriptions of suburban
park and its functions, beacuse of Průhonický park is Prague suburban park.
Methodics for inventory was choosed according the Machovec, because I continue the
work, which followed this methodics. Historical survey was based on literary and map bases.
Also were described the natural conditions, which are necessary for future suggestions.
Re-inventory was based on previous inventories of this land. Results were put into
graphs, they are quality growth indexes. Felling suggestions was made, based on this inventory.
Ford felling are determined unpromising trees and trees which hind in vista.
In suggestions is planting of trees and perenials. Choose of trees was based on present
occurrence in park, also right in historical and placeble way. Also there was recovery of
furniture and road system. Road system was suggested with correct historical draff surface. The
furniture was choosed with respect of historical proporces. For upsurge this land was created
the pier at the pond shore and wooden road, instead of natural path.
These growths are very precious, so there were suggested informational tags with
information about trees, epecially by the road system.
At the end, there was made the budget.

The main objective of this thesis is the analysis and evaluation of current communication mix of the company in business area and following suggestions for its improvement. The theoretical part describes the theoretical background associated with that issues. The second part focuses on the characteristics of the company, SWOT analysis and especially current communication mix, which covers the last part of the work developed proposals to improving the current situation.

Distribution of medicines in Slovak republic

The Master thesis is dedicated to distribution of drugs and medicines in Slovak republic. The first chapter includes definition of logistics and describes the basic concepts of supply chain management. It also explains the main reasons for including distributors and pharmacies in distribution channel and what are their main roles. The Slovak health policy, legislation, and specificities of pharmaceutical industry are described in the thesis too. The last chapter of the first part deals with the price regulation and explains how the prices are created. The practical part includes the analysis of Slovak pharmaceutical market. The last chapters are crucial to understand the problem. I described here how three real companies -- pharmacies and a distributor work and operate on the market and I tried to find the best ways how to optimize their processes. The current trends in data synchronization and standardization are also included.

Komunikace mezi rodiči a učiteli na středních školách

This bachelor's thesis is about main aspects in communication between parents and teachers of high school. Target of this dissertation is to find out, how is this com-munication preceived by parents and how by the teachers. Theoretical part includes basic information about communication, educational communication, types of communication and relationship between parents and teachers. Method of theoretical part was studying of specialized books, taking notes from them, their analyse, synthesis and comparison. In practical part of this dissertation founded data were evaluated. As a tool I used questionnaire, focused on prefered communication forms between parents and teachers, most frequent topics, barriers in communication. This all was researched from both points o view -- parents - teachers. Founded data were evaluated by simple descrip-tive and statistical methods. Based on results is suggested pedagogical and psychologi-cal recommendation, which can be used as a improvement in communication between parents and teachers in high schools.

Logistics of medical facilities

The bachelor's thesis is dedicated to logistic support of medical facilities. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts of logistic. It describes operations, economics, activity and specificities of medical facilities. The last chapters of theoretical part deal with the information about the purchase and management of resources in health service. The practical part includes a description of a real situation of logistic support in two specific hospitals. It also includes a comparison of expenditures which arise in relation to supply management in the chosen departments of these hospitals. Contrasts are also dealt with.
