TITLE: Effect of lenght of stretching on the strength and flexibility of kickboxers AUTHOR: Bc. Alexandra Nižníková DEPARTMENT: Department of physical education SUPERVISOR: Mgr. Lucie Kainová ABSTRACT: The main aim of the diploma thesis was to examine the effect of lenght of stretching on strength ability, and flexibility of kickboxers. The research lasted 12 weeks and was conducted in two research groups. People in the 19-40 age range did kick-boxing three times a week. The experimental group consisted of 25 kick-boxers who did 15 minutes stretching before and 30 minutes stretching after the training. The control group also consisted of 25 kick-boxers, but they did stretching only for 5 minutes before and after the training. In the research we used our own stretching program, that was applied before and after the training. Based on the results, we noticed an improvement in the experimental group in all tests. The control group showed an improvement in strength tests, but on the contrary, we noticed a deterioration in the flexibility tests. KEYWORDS: Stretching, kickbox, flexibility, strength ability

Slabá, Klára ; Vojtíková, Lenka (advisor) ; Kainová, Lucie (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with monitoring the relationship between physical activity of parents and their children. As the main goal, I chose to find out the relationship between physical activity of parents and their children. The thesis consists of two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part characterizes the development of pre-school children. It defines the terms of motor development and gross motor skills. It summarizes knowledge about movement, physical activity, sport and healthy lifestyle. It describes the education and stimulation of children to physical activities and common free time. The practical part is focused on monitoring the relationship between physical activity of parents and their children through an online questionnaire, which I developed. It detects if there is a connection between the physical aktivity of parents and children. Based on the findings, I state that the connection between the physical aktivity of parents and their children has been confirmed. When parents do not play sports, children do not, or they engage in a maximum of two activities for which their parents have refistered them.Children of sporting parents have a much larger volume and variety of physical activities. Pelikánová, Michaela ; Hájková, Jana (advisor) ; Kainová, Lucie (referee)
The aim of the diploma thesis is to find out and compare the level of motor abilities of younger school age children attending dance lessons at Elementary Art school and then to compare it with the level of motor abilities of younger school age children which do sports only in Physical Education. It has been testing at the Elementary Art school in Chotěboř and at the Primary School Smetanova in Chotěboř and I used the battery test - Unifittest (6-60), which I completed by the holistic motoric test, called the Jacík test. I also used a questionnaire to find out what other sports activities do pupils of the dance branch. The research part of this work shows that the dance students achieved on average better results than the pupils of the Primary School dedicated to sports only in Physical Education. The biggest difference was between the test groups in the repeatedly "Leh-Sed", when the dance students were better by almost 30 %. Using a questionnaire survey I found out that 9 out of 14 pupils of the dance branch attend at least one other sports club. This bachelor's thesis deals with the factors, which influence the effectiveness of the teaching methods regarding the movement activities with two years old children. In the theoretical part of the thesis, the developmental specifics of the two years old children are discussed as they need to be accounted for. Also, the movement activities and specifics of the teaching methods for this group of children have been presented. The theoretical background is then applied in the practical part of the thesis, which deals with the realization of the motion activities in two kindergartens. Specific adjustments have been proposed, the activities have been re-realized with the adjustments and the feedback has been discussed. Additionally, a survey with the teachers who work with this specific group of children was realized. Lastly, as a part of the research, a structured interview with a teacher has been conducted, who has recently started working with the two years old children without any previous experience. In the management of movement activities there have been found poor factord in organisation skills and lack of proper demonstration

Verification of the MS GEM tennis school program's effect on the development of motor skills in 10 to 12-year-old tennis players
Schröffel, Jan ; Přibyl, Ivan (advisor) ; Kainová, Lucie (referee)
My diploma thesis focuses on the introduction of the MS GEM tennis school and its new training program, on its effect on the development of motor skills in 10 to 12-year-old tennis players compared to effect of other traditional programs. The first chapter belongs to characterization of training process in general, motor skills and means of their development and to the description of differences between different age group's training process. The rest of the theoretical part is introducing the MS GEM tennis school's new training program. There i apply my mind to the content of our training lessons and why we think that our training program is more suitable and beneficial than traditional training programs which usually take place on the court only (or partly end up using a tennis trainer). Our training lessons are always split into two parts - in the first one our players train tennis-related motor skills and abilities. The other part of the lesson is always more versatility-related one. The experiment that i conducted took 9 weeks to finish. Six participants were split into two groups (there were boys at the age of 10, 11 and 12 in both groups) and trained for 9 weeks, once a week, in different manner. I created a set of 8 exercises which were designed to test our participant's motor skills. My...
