The influence of compulsory pre-school education on the work of pedagogical workers in selected kindergartens

The bachelor thesis deals with problematics of the introduction of compulsory preschool education, its benefits and changes in areas of administration and educational process. The aim of this work is to find out how the legislative change, effective from the calendar year 2017, relating to the introduction of compulsory of preschool education, affected events in individual areas of pedagogical staff, more specifically administrative and managerial work of principals and educational and administrative work of teachers in two selected kindergartens in the largest Central Bohemian city of Kladno. For the purpose of fulfilling this goal, a research case study is chosen, in which data were obtained through interviews with school principals, qualitative questionnaires addressed to teachers and analysis of internal and curricular documents affected by the legislative change. Conceptualization of the departmental school model

The dissertation deals with the conceptualization of the model of the departmental school as a way of realization of managerial practices of students of the study programme School Management at the Faculty of Education of Charles University. The aim of the dissertation is to propose a concept of transferring specific knowledge and experience of secondary school principals by appropriate methods at management practices implemented in departmental schools to students of the study programme School Management, usable to transform their knowledge acquired in the theoretical part of teaching into skills applicable in practice in the school field. The theoretical part of the dissertation defines the departmental school as a place to transfer knowledge from experienced school principals to students, specifies the possibilities of managing and transferring explicit and tacit knowledge in the organization through a managerial approach, in the case of schools also through a pedagogical approach using experiential learning, and identifies the work activities and competencies of the manager and school principal. School management from the perspective of parents

The bachelor thesis "Primary school management from the perspective of parents" deals with current parents' attitude and their criteria for assessment of primary school management and its functioning. This bachelor thesis predominantly focuses from the parents' point of view on assessment in the field of school functions, pedagogical process, communication and cooperation between the parent and the school. The theoretical part of the thesis brings a description of the history of primary education, the current primary school, its function and pedagogical process, the forms of current family and types of families and parents. Next there are briefly defined rights and obligations of the parents toward the primary school, communication between the parent and the school and mutual cooperation. The theoretical background is based on expert publications, articles and significant studies. The practical part focuses on quantitative research in particular with the use of questionnaire survey applied on parents of children from primary schools established by the town of Most.
