Stress and its impact on a performance at work

The topic of this bachelor thesis is focused on the term stress and examining the influence of stress factors on performance at work. The work is divided into two main parts - theoretical and empirical.
Introduction of the theoretical part provides on
the basis of literature searches basic knowledge about actual issue of stress, its kinds, causes, stages and responses to stress. Furthermore, this section describes the stressors that affect humans according to several aspects, techniques coping with stress and stress in
the work environment.
The empirical part is focused on the problems of the stress of the Castle Guard in Prague. Data in the empirical part are collected through questionnaire survey of ninety respondents. Frequencies of individual answers are processed into clear contingency and association tables afterwards. Established statistical hypotheses are then evaluated using a chi-square test.
In the conclusion of this work is a proposal draft of measures to reduce or even eliminate stress factors in the workplace and thus ultimately to improve employment outcomes of the guards and the entire unit.

Příprava fríského koně na svod

This bachelor thesis is focused on the horse breed Friesian horse. Its first part consists of the breed itself, its characteristics, history and development. Subsequently, the number of this breed in the Czech Republic (from 2009 to 2014) will be discussed. Next part is concentrated on the very essential part, i.e. analysis of the lead, adjustment of the horse and its leader, necessary tools and most of all, assessment and evaluation of the Friesian horse. Finally, the thesis deals with the performance-based tests FPMDA and FPTMA, both of which show horse's performance while riding.

Steel Structure of a Shopping Centre

The load-carrying steel structure of the shopping centre is proposed in two versions. The more advantageous version is elaborated in detail. The roof structure is designed using three-dimensional curved trusses with glass roofing and the structure rests on steel columns. The ground plan dimensions of the steel structure are 120 by 73 meters.

Proposal of the Implementation of the Project Management Methodology into the Company

This diploma theses deals with the challenges of a project management in a particular construction company that handles projects on daily basis. I focused on the analysis of a particular project in this company, that has been successfully implemented. This analysis served as a starting point for the designing of the changes, as well as a devising a tool that simplifies the set up of the changes into practice. Selected problem was solved by comparing the project management methodology in the project with the project management practices officially proposed in the literature. Tool design was carried out in the environment of Microsoft Excel. I managed to design a tool in which the shortcomings are treated the way that facilitates their implementation into practice, especially by using an easy environment and outputs well-arranged for the user. This tool is therefore mainly used to eliminate the identified shortcomings and thus to facilitate and simplify project management in practice.

Yield management a jeho uplatnění ve službách cestovního ruchu

Tato práce shrnuje dosavadní teoretické poznatky o yield managementu a na jejich základě analyzuje jeho postavení mezi podniky cestovního ruchu v České republice i ve světě. Část práce, která se zaměřuje na Českou republiku, podrobněji hodnotí znalost a využití yield managementu zejména v oblasti hotelnictví. K tomuto vyhodnocení slouží především provedené dotazníkové šetření, které mapuje všeobecné povědomí o yield managementu a zjišťuje do jaké míry jsou jeho nástroje využívány mezi českými hotely.

Using information technology to increase the economic efficiency of cities

This work deals with the current situation of cities, government and their problems with the number of population which still rises. The cities appeal maintenance high-quality of services, content of citizens, economic growth and competitive advantage. The goal of this work is to show how works the vision Smarter Cities, which helps with setting the right strategy for the city. This work is composed of two parts. The first part is describing the situation in the cities and the state of information technology in public service. Than, it introduces the tools for investors and cities which use the Smarter Cities principles. The second part is talking how to implement these tools and principles in a real city. I received the document Information strategy for years 2011-2011 and Communication strategy for the city of Plzen (Pilsen). Value Tree and Actionable Smarter Cities tools were used to analyze the above mentioned documents. The output of this work is the recommendation for the city of Plzen (Pilsen) - which applications to use in respect for the city's strategy and at the same time, how to continue with Smarter City implementation.

The improvement of CRM in a telecommunication company

Customer relationship management represents operating the relations towards customers of company. Nowadays the sense of CRM has changed is little bit as it doesn't mean only software which helps to solve problems but big value is added in relations with customers as such. The subject of this paper is to describe how Vodafone CZ settled with an innovation of CRM. The objective of this paper is to bring closer the improvement of CRM in a telecommunication company. The first chapter focuses on CRM products on the Czech market. I have chosen the most important solutions for small, middle and big companies. The second chapter attends to company Siebel Systems and its product CRM eBusiness, which was apllied in Vodafone CZ. The third chapter introduces the implementation of a new solution. Cílem této bakalářské práce je zhodnotit finanční situaci a výkonnost společnosti ZAT, a.s. a posoudit její postavení na trhu. Jedná se o průmyslový podnik působící v oblasti automatizace průmyslových procesů - OKEČ 33.3. V první části jsou charakterizovány použité metody finanční analýzy. Finanční analýza je provedena v kontextu odvětví za období 2000 až 2005.
