Title: Flexibility for football players in the student category U14 - U15 Objective: The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to help the questionnaire survey to monitor the use of basic gymnastics with a focus on the development of flexibility in the training of football players in the category of students (U14 - U15). The partial goal is to design a set of recommended exercises that can contribute to the development of flexibility. Methods: The research sample consisted of 6 football clubs (SK Slavia Prague, Bohemians 1905, SK Kladno, FC Košice, Lokomotíva Košice, Janočko Academy). To obtain information from the respondents, the method of qualitative questioning was chosen. We have created a non-standardized questionnaire, which is presented in an authentic form at the end of the bachelor's thesis (see appendices). We contacted the individual teams by phone and contacted the head coaches of the student categories. The selection of the sample was intentional, because we wanted to include the widest possible range in terms of performance and location (Slovakia, Czech Republic). Results: The results of the questionnaire survey showed that all football teams regularly include the means of basic gymnastics in the training process of football players in the student categories. We must also state that there...

Parkour as a new gymnastic sport
Vašurová, Barbora ; Krištofič, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Kolbová, Kateřina (referee)
Theme: Parkour as new gymnastic sport Aims: The aim of this work is to introduce parkour as a new gymnastic sport and, based on the somatotypes measurements, define optimal profile of an athlet for this kind of sport with expressing differences in somatotypes with respect to individual parkour disciplines. Methods: To identify optimal parkour somatotype, there was made the measurement which includes survey of body weight using personal scale, height using altimeter, a biceps circumference in the contraction and calf circumference using measuring tape, a biepycondillary dimension of the humerus and femur using thoracometer and the thickness of skinfolds on the triceps, under the shoulder blade, over the hip, and calf using caliper pliers. The measured values of individual parameters were processed using Excel. Results: The group of probands participating in the research was composed of 50 men and 10 women who are doing this new gymnastic sport. Statistical processing of somatic characteristics of individual probands and its conversion into graphic format resulted in graphs of optimal somatotypes for this new sport separately for men and women. Due to the low number of probands who are doing parkour at a higher level, 10 men were selected for each discipline and 3 women (Czech national team), which...

Speed and quality of muscle contraction in acrobatic rock and roll dancers
Palivcová, Nikola ; Kolbová, Kateřina (advisor) ; Černá, Jana (referee)
Title: Speed and Quality of Muscle Contraction of Acrobatic Rock and Roll Dancers Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to diagnose the speed and quality of the muscular contraction of the lower limbs in acrobatic Rock and Roll dancers based on measurements on the tensiomyofraph. A partial goal is to describe the method and course of measurement, including the interpretation of results and subsequent training recommendations. The research question is: "How does acrobatic Rock and Roll affect the development of muscle imbalance in the lower limbs in dancers couples?" Methods: The method of qualitative research is used for the work using a case study on five probands. Measurement on the TMG 100 has the task of detecting muscle imbalance caused by training load. Results: Based on the measurements results of the individual report generated by the TMG 100, the results are interpreted and the research question is answered: "Acrobatic Rock and Roll causes muscular imbalances in the lower limbs caused by unilateral strain on couple dancers with difference in the gender of the individuals." Keywords: acrobatic Rock and Roll, muscular imbalance, muscle, tensiomyography, TMG
Health oriented and corrective exercises for persons with sedentary occupation
Šamánková, Tereza ; Pokorný, Ladislav (advisor) ; Kolbová, Kateřina (referee)
Main topics of this bachelor thesis are health-oriented and compensatory exercises for people with sedentary jobs. The theoretical part describes common health problems associated with sedentary life style and defines terms, important to understanding given issues. Next part describes good posture in various positions focusing on sitting posture and techniques for improving it. Finally recommended physical activities and compensatory exercises are introduced as an effective way to prevent health problems. The practical part compares two test groups from two different IT companies, whose employees spent most of the work hours during the day sitting. I personally participate in trainings with one of the groups, the second group serves for comparison. With the help of on-line questionnaire and standardized tests health condition, physical regime and interest in compensatory exercises of the subjects is mapped. The data gathered are compared and evaluated in the final part along with thesis goals and hypotheses. KEYWORDS Sedentary jobs, hypokinesia, posture, health-oriented and compensatory exercises
Using TMG to diagnose muscle imbalances in Jumping
Burgetová, Dominika ; Šteffl, Michal (advisor) ; Kolbová, Kateřina (referee)
Title: Using TMG to diagnose muscle imbalances in Jumping Objectives: The aim of this work was to define a hypothesis about the relation of training load in jumping and muscle imbalances in selected muscle groups using the tensiomyograph TMG and bioimpedance InBody 720. Methods: The bachelor thesis has the character of qualitative research. In particular, five case studies have been carried out, emphasizing the detection of characteristic muscle imbalances that could arise from the training load in Jumping. The tensiomicrograph TMG 100 and bioimpedance InBody 720 were used to measure muscle imbalances. Results: Based on the measurement of five participants, muscle imbalances were found primarily in the gastrocnemicus lateralis, semitendinosus and tibialis anterior. In functional symmetry the most frequently imbalances were found in the ankle muscle groups where tibialis anterior was compared against gastrocnemicus lateralis and gastrocnemicus medialis, and subsequently the imbalances in the legs where gastrocnemicus lateralis and medialis were compared against vastus lateralis and medialis. We also found functional imbalances in the knee where the biceps femoris muscle acted against vastus lateralis, vastus medialis and rectus femoris. Keywords: tensiomyograph, muscle asymmetry, trampolines,...
