The psychological aspects of change of attitudes - persuasion

This bachelor's thesis is focused on social psychological topic of attitude change through persuasion. It brings certain theoretical background of the topic with its key points and processes. Mainly it is the definition of persuasion, what are the subjects of persuasion, the main conditions, influences, goals and other variables, that step into the process. It is also trying to capture the most important mechanisms, that play role in the process of persuasion. In the whole text the practical implications are mentioned. In the applied part the attention is focused on the field of forensic psychology - mainly the criminal interviewing practice. Family and school life of children with Obsessive-compulsive disorder

This thesis deals with the complications that brings obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) school-age children in the family and school life. It consists of two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is divided into the seven chapters and is drawn from the knowledge of professional literature and Internet sources. This section consists of basic information about OCD, the etiology, diagnosis, treatment options. The last three chapters deal with the consequences of obsessive-compulsive disorder and problems that OCD brings to family and school life. The practical part is an empirical investigation dealing with the main objective of the work, which is based on an analysis of complications that brings obsessive-compulsive disorder of school-age children in the family and school life. Survey results was achieved through open, axial and selective coding, which allowed delineation create grounded theory. It was found that OCD manifests in childhood and brings negative consequences not only for family but also for the school life of the child, especially in the form of disturbed domestic atmosphere and the inability to concentrate on teaching.
Dynamics of motivation in achieving long-term goal

This thesis deals with the topic of motivation, specifically with the dynamic aspect of motivation in achieving a distant goal. The teoretical part of the thesis can be devided into two main parts, the first one is based on key motivational concepts and hopes targets on the most relevant theories, the second one focuses on the dynamic side of motivation as viewed from the perspective of the concept of goals. Emphasis is placed on psychologicaly distant and difficult goals. The thesis, especially the section focused on goals, reflects the latest theoretical findings, which serve not only to describe the problem, but underly many interventional techniques. The empiricial part, concept of an quantitative research, is based on the previous theoretical findings. The research aims to assess the possible impact of the proposed intervention technique focused on achieving a distant goal.
The influence of culture on the forms of aggression

The central theme of this thesis is aggression and its perception and understanding in different cultures. The aim of this study is to highlight the fact that every culture has its own specific concept of aggression, including its evaluation and subsequent interpretation. This work deals with the theoretical analysis of case studies and research studies focused on this topic in intercultural perspective. Wider attention is paid to the differences in aggressive behavior between the sexes, as well as a different concept of aggression in collectivistic and individualistic societies. Finally, the work deals with the relationship between aggression and religion.
Influence of culture on the conception of mental illness.

The aim of this thesis is to describe sociocultural aspects of mental illness. The thesis concerns with sociocultural influences on formation and conceptualization of illness explanatory models that shape unstructured fyziological phenomenon into structured experience. Specific cultural content of biological categories is the foundation of health care systems, lay conceptions and prejudices and determines social status of the mentally ill. Also attitudes of society towards its deviant members reflect her essential characteristics. Therefore, this thesis outlines historical and cross-cultural transformations of mental illness within the broad social context. Describes health care system as a specific layer of social and symbolic reality and points out the influence of dominant psychiatric discourse on the conception of illness. Attention was also paied to media selective portrayals of mental illness that were proved to strenghten negative stereotypes. Mental illnesses, how was shown, differs cross-culturally. Though basic psychiatric syndromes occur in every society, culture promotes and shapes particular symptoms, so that progress and prognosis can be very different. We can, therefore, conclude that every illness is in a way culture-related.
The advertising spot as a means of acculturation. The influence of advertising spots on university students in the Czech Republic.

The purpose of this bachelor's thesis is to evaluate the online advertising spot as a means of enculturation process by which people adopt socio-cultural regulatives, ideas and artefacts of their surrounding culture, using culturological analytic point of view. The first theoretical part of thesis is focused on specification of terms of enculturation and advertising spot, describing its history, the process of advertising spot strategy development and production, psychology of advertising and changeovers in process of enculturation driven by audiovisual records and the Internet environment. The second empirical part of thesis uses the outcomes of combined research, which included semi-structured depth interviews among selected Czech Advertising and Creative Directors who are producing the audiovisual advertising spots (qualitative research) and questionnaire survey among Czech students on Czech Universities, which are influenced by online advertising environment (quantitative research). The main goal of this thesis is to bring the actual picture of enculturation process driven by online advertising spots and its impact on university students in the Czech Republic. The schizophrenic in social - cultural level with influence in art and reception of the world

This work is focused on schizophrenia, one of the most serious diseases that affects human's life in all its parts. I submit the summary of information about the causes leading to the disease. I answer the questions how to treat schizophrenia and why it affects the patient's life in such a high extent. The work summarizes the different views on the diagnosis and treatment of schizophrenia in the past and in the present. I wonder how society views a mentally ill person nowadays. I focus on the artistic expression of people with schizophrenia, which is characteristic for them. I answer the question about how much the disease affects their creating and why it is so obsessive for them to create. I wonder if the genius is linked with madness.
Grant financial donation from EU funds specialized to support culture in Czech Republic

This work describes the system of grant support for culture in the Czech Republic and the possibilities of acquiring financial means from EU funds. It aims for clarification of the functions of grant policy, its basis, specifications and problems. It characterizes the basic requirements of the project grant application. The basic terms of the topic, culture, donation, money and grant money are defined in the introduction followed by the chapter describing the state cultural policy of the Czech Republic with an emphasis on the economic potential of culture. Extensive third chapter is devoted to multi- source financing of culture, is focused on the grant titles, their content. It characterizes the single types of entities, which the programs are designed for and defines the conditions for obtaining grant money. It also features the weaknesses of the system of grant support for culture in the Czech Republic. The final section focuses on EU funds, their types and tries to capture the issue of their efficiency and application in the Czech Republic. This mostly theoretical work is supplemented by practical experience and ideas of authorities working in this field for a long period of time.
The effect of theatrical costume on actor

The development of theatrical costumes isn't possible to separate from the development of civil clothing. The most important period in history of theatrical costumes is ancienit Greece. All next periods based from it or derived inspiration from it. The period of Renaissance is mainly associate with a phenomenon of English theatre and Italian commedy dell'arte. Both this styles are characterized by specific way of theatrical clothing, where the commedy dell'arte excels their masks and typical characters. Only in early 20th century costumes began promote themselves as separate area of dramatical production, which is need to be concerned in a detail and is worthy of assignment proper attention. This is four important turning points in history of theatrical costume. But ganges happened in all historical periods and concern a perception of actors' clothing (by spectators and thein users) or styles and materials. There is connection between successful interpretation of theatrical role and a costume, which has an actor on his body during playing on a stage. Costumes have important fiction in a connection with a movement. This is possilble observe from two angles of a view. Manipulation in Advertisement

The bachelor thesis deals with the means of manipulation in advertisement. It is based on the findings of psychology, sociology and especially neuromarketing. It describes the model of advertisement acceptance. The process of advertisement acceptance includes learning and remembering, the success of which is directly influenced by emotion. The concept of advertisement popularity and its measuring is further described. The thesis focuses on how advertising manipulates with emotions in order to make customers purchase goods. The common ways of affecting senses which directly sway emotions are also described. The issues of subliminal advertising, product placement, package design and layout of stores are also dealt with. The final part focuses on the legal regulation of advertisement in the Czech Republic.
