This thesis deals with a subject of collaboration economy and it aims at two of its representatives in particular, Airbnb and Uber. My focus targets at current status in terms of established or missing regulation and mapping of up to date trends for regulation to be developed or to be improved in contrast to what has already set. Simultaneously, there is described its functional system and familiarization with them for a potential user. At least but not last, one of the goals is to clarify why new representatives as Uber or Airbnb might be spotted controversial. It is observed that current legal status of collaborative economy does not reflect its ability to share a global market and its potential regulation from government point of view has become likely. However, politician opinions on how this regulation should look like vary. Nevertheless what may be found identical in those opinions is that there is no will collaborative economy to be repressed however, rules and limits should be clearly stated. Expansion of digital technologies and its relation to collaborative economy growth was hardly predictable. For traditional services, for instance, taxi drivers, rules and limits are very restrictive regardless modern social and technological situation does not require such a strict limits since modern...
Weight and BMI in relation to the dose of levotyroxin of patients with hypothyreosis
Radiměřská, Veronika ; Jiskra, Jan (advisor) ; Ježková, Jana (referee)
The objective of this study was to define if there is a mutual influence between the daily dose of levothyroxine, positivity/negativity of thyroid antibody, BMI, waistline, hip measurement and other anthropometric parameters. It was also to analyze if the daily dose of levothyroxine is being influenced by degree of hypothyroidismimportance. Methodology: There were 44 patients examined having hypothyroidism and who have been cured with levothyroxine so that their thyroid function has been normal at the time. I have examined those patients' body height, weight, BMI, waistline and hipline. Under the supervision of the medicine doctor I used records available for each of patients regarding concentration of TSH, TPOAb and TgAb, which were defined with patients' blood by a method of immunoassay. Results: The average daily dose of levothyroxine in all patients sample has showed a positive correlation with BMI (Spearman rho coef. 0,429, P value=0,004) and with waistline of women (Spearman rho coef. 0,332, P value=0,028). The concentration of thyroidantibody did not show a statistical relevance regarding the dependence with the dose of levothyroxine, BMI or other anthropometric parameters. The highest average daily dose of levothyroxine was confirmed for examined patients after total thyroidectomy (median of...
Vitamin preparations during pregnancy
Matoušková, Karolína ; Ježková, Jana (advisor) ; Vítková, Hana (referee)
This thesis discusses problems of pregnancy and increased nutrient requirements with a focus on vitamins and minerals. It is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The aim is to identify those vitamins and minerals that may be deficient during pregnancy and thus their intake should be increased. The theoretical part describes the importance of particular elements for the specifics of pregnancy and possible symptoms of deficiency or excess, with the pregnancy orientation. The practical part focuses on the evaluation of selected multivitamin and multi mineral supplements which are intended for pregnant women. The main criterion is to ensure sufficient amounts of vitamins and minerals during the increased demands of pregnancy. Evaluation is done by comparing two parameters - the recommended daily dose for pregnant women and the amount of micronutrients contained in the composition of given products. Content analysis was used as the data collection technique for the basic quantitative research. Finally, it discusses the usefulness of the administration of vitamin supplements during pregnancy, and whether a balanced diet is sufficient enough to meet the needs of the organism even in states where there may be some lack of vitamins and minerals. Key words: pregnancy ; nutrition ; vitamins ;...

Role of membrane phospholipid remodeling, oxidative stress and PKC-δ upregulation in cardioprotection induced by chronic hypoxia
Ježková, Jana ; Kalous, Martin (referee)
Role of membrane phospholipid remodeling, oxidative stress and PKC- δ upregulation in cardioprotection induced by chronic hypoxia Introduction: Cardiovascular disease is the main cause of morbidity and mortality in industrially developed countries. Therefore, a number of experimental and clinical studies deal with the issue of how to increase tolerance to myocardial ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) injury. The present studies are concerned with mechanisms involved in the induction of endogenous cardioprotection after adaptation to intermittent altitude (IHA) hypoxia and influence of fat diets enriched with different fatty acids (FA) composition. We focused on changes in the composition of serum and heart lipids, the expression of PKC and on markers of oxidative stress and antioxidant enzyme activity in the myocardium. We also studied the role of reactive oxygen species (ROS) in the cardioprotective effect of IHA hypoxia using the antioxidant N-acetylcysteine (NAC). Methods: Adult male Wistar rats were exposed to IHA hypoxia in hyperbaric chamber, altitude 7000 m, 8 hours per day, 5 days a week, 25 exposures. Animals were fed by standard diet and diet enriched with 10% fat (saturated - SFA and MUFA mononemnasycené), 10% corn oil (n-6 polyunsaturated MK PUFA) and 10% fish oil (n-3 PUFA) in the diet experiment....
