Working memory and dyslexia

This thesis examines the connections of dyslexia and working memory. The theoretical part of this paper is dedicated to the contemporary concept of dyslexia and working memory, the main focus is on the classical model of working memory by Baddeley who distinguishes 4 basic components: central executive, phonological loop, visuo-spatial sketchpad, and the episodic buffer. The main part of this work is a summary of current research on working memory and its relationship to dyslexia. In the practical part, the author focuses on the design of research and testing levels of working memory functioning in individuals with dyslexia and without difficulty using the WMBT-C method. The phenomenon El Niňo-Southern Oscillation and its possible manifestations on precipitation and temperature patterns in Europe

This thesis deals with the climatic phenomenon El Niňo, Southern Oscillation and its possible manifestations to rainfall and temperature conditions in Europe. This work is divided into three main parts. The first part deals with the ways in which you can define El Niňo, explaining basic terms related to El Niňo and brief definitions of these terms. The second part is to answer basic questions about the development of El Niňo, its consequences, its past and future, as well as its predictability. The third and final section deals with the general manifestations of El Niňo, how ENSO affects the weather of midlatitudes and what are the core regions of influence. Furthermore, it is described how ENSO is affecting tropical Pacific. There are also described ENSO manifestations on long distances and eventually possible manifestations in Europe. ENSO affects weather on almost the entire planet. Exploring long-distance manifestations of ENSO is very important, especially to be able to forecast warm phase of ENSO (El Niňo) and cold phase (La Niňa). With the use of these phenomena we can determine the prognosis of the occurrence of wet or dry weather. Thanks to the predictions of these phenomena we can prevent their negative impacts on ecosystems and on people's lives.

Baroque site Skalka near by city Mníšek pod Brdy This bachelor thesis treats about Baroque site Skalka near by city Mníšek pod Brdy; about his build and destiny from past to present. First part treats about history of the city Mníšek pod Brdy, site Skalka and consequently about founder Ignác Engel z Engelsflussu and about stock Engel. Below is briefly life description of countess Benedikta Čejková, which invited Franciscan monks at the Skalka. About these Francisce monks is treatised in self charter. Next part thesis describes the individual objects in site: chapel Sv. Mary Magdalene, monastery, hermitage and fourteen cruciate chapels. Last part thesis disserts upon destiny site Skalka under rule communist authoritarianism; about buildings destruction by ironstone mining under the Skalka. In the end is mentioned renovation of buildings, this renovation began in nineties twentieth century and takes till today.
Transition programmes as an assisance for physically handicaped persons in transition from school to jobs

Title: Transition programmes as an assistance for physically handicaped person in transit from school to jobs Abstract: This diploma work engage problems of transition programme for people with physical handicape. It defines area of physical handicape, shows evolution of care for people with physical handicape and shows today's situation of comprehensive educational care and advisory system for person with physical handicape. It shows possibilities of social and labor integration with attentions to specific risks in life of person with physical handicape, especially unemployment. Fundamental part of this work describes transition programme, its principles and intentions and introduces realization of concrete example. Intention of this work is to find fields of frustration and find out whether transition programmes are focused on these fields to make their clients satisfied. That's why the exploration with the questionnaire was done. Its results show that the unemployment makes answerers unsatisfied the most. Because transition programmes are focused on searching for suitable jobs for their client, they should be support in it. But results show low education of answerers as well, but not dissatisfaction with this fact. To fortify chances to get suitable job clients should be more motivated to get higher...

Title: Requirements of sports venues for The Summer Olympic Games. Work goal: Description of requirements of selected sports venues for The Summer Olympic Games. Requirements analysis of IOC, successful and unsuccessful bidding cities and according to acquired data express recommendation for future candidate cities. Methods: Descriptive analysis of the documents related to organising The Olympic Games. Document analysis and interview Czech sports federation representatives. Results: Conclusion and recommendation for future candidate cities. Operetta in the Karlin Musical Theatre

The fundamental topic of my thesis is operetta in the Karlin Musical Theatre. In the first part of the thesis I inquire into the development of the genre itself. The next chapter is dedicated to famous Czech and international authors of the most renowned operetta works. I have dedicated an especial space to the operetta of Mam'zelle Nitouche as one of the most successful foreign operettas in our country. It is followed by an overview of light opera houses, mainly in Prague, that are in operation since the 18th century. I also inquire into the development of the Karlin Musical Theatre and its changes. I my thesis prominent figures in the management of the theatre as well as performing stars are featured. I give a short account of their artistic lives and their contribution to the genre of operetta in Karlin Musical Theatre. My work is concluded by the interviews with influential members of the ensemble of the theatre.
Genesis and History of czech Musical

The fundamental subject matter of my Bachelor Thesis is the genesis and history of musicals in the Czech republic. In the first part I explore the genres, which laid the foundations of this form of musical theatre. The following part contains a list and an analysis of the first plays of foreign authors presented on the Czech stages. I go further with listing the most prominent theatres that contributed to the advancement of this phenomenon. I describe their history and leading figures. In the final part I introduce the contemporary musicals performed after 1989 and I also refer to the most modern productions, which attract audience in present times.
