Manufacturing of the Mobile Phone Holder
Hřebíček, Robert ; Žák, Ladislav (referee) ; Peterková, Eva (advisor)
The master´s thesis is focused on the manufacture of mobile phone holder. The semi-finished productis a 1.5 mm thick steel sheetroll of S235JRG1. The annual seriesis set at 200,000 units per year. For the production of the part, the method of shearing and bending in a combined tool was chosen. Both technologies were dissected in a literary study, and a production process was developed to design a tool. A suitable production line was purchased for the entire production and the suitability of production was economicallye valuated.
Steam Flow Measurement Error Analysis
Barabášová, Iveta ; Touš, Michal (referee) ; Bobák, Petr (advisor)
The thesis deals with analysis of measurement uncertainty. The theoretical knowledge presented in opening chapters is applied on indirect steam flow measurement by orifice plate. Calculation of steam flow is based on knowledge of pressure difference value, static pressure value and temperature. The data are acquired by experimental measurement in laboratory. The mass flow rate uncertainty is determined by normalized procedure (according to standard ČSN EN ISO 5167) and by detailed error analysis (according to standard ČSN ISO 5168) for comparison. Whole numerical computation employs python programming language in Spyder environment. Other computation result is steam consumption of washing cycle.
The impact of metal powder recycling on the porosity of parts produced by Selective Laser Melting
Sůkal, Jan ; Hudák, Radovan (referee) ; Paloušek, David (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with the influence of recycling of powder steel 1.2709 on porosity of parts processed by SLM technology. Theoretical part of this thesis gives an overview of the influence of selected process parameters of this additive technology on the porosity of manufactured parts. The presence of pores in the material is the main cause of worse mechanical properties compared to conventionally manufactured materials. Since the advantage of this technology is the possibility of wasteless production, one of the possible causes of pore formation and degradation of properties of the powder material is due to standard recycling by means of sieving to remove the contaminants generated during the construction. This paper compares the porosity of parts produced by two different machines, analyzes the possible consequences of sieving on powder properties, establishes recommendations for setting the recycling process, and compares the degree of influence of process parameters on porosity.
CFD simulation flow of steam in the unregulated extraction of steam turbine
Filip, Patrik ; Pospíšil, Jiří (referee) ; Fiedler, Jan (advisor)
Diploma thesis named CFD simulation of the steam flow in the unregulated extraction of the steam turbine is about an analysis of the balance piston impact on the area of the steam turbine, where the extraction is located. First part describes basic knowledge of the steam turbine in general. At the end of this chapter, there is a description of the solved steam turbine. Next chapter is about introduction to the CFD. Practical part deals with a construction of 3D models, meshing and setting of the boundary conditions in the program ANSYS CFX. The main part of this thesis summarizes the results of the CFD simulation and stipulates the temperature range on the extraction pipe. In conclusion, there is a recommendation how to determine design temperature of the extraction pipe influenced by the balance piston.
The design of the automated truck AGV
Köhler, Tomáš ; Dostál, Petr (referee) ; Kašpárek, Jaroslav (advisor)
This master thesis deals with design of the automated guided vehicle (AGV) for securing of material flow in industry. Emphasis is placed especially on the locomotion system, which includes steering mechanism, traction propulsion with gearbox and traction batteries. This thesis also includes design of the vehicle’s frame and its strength check using finite element method. Part of this thesis is also production drawings of the selected parts and total drawing set of the AGV.
Evaluation of cutting fluids aerosol contamination of working environment during metal turning
Svoboda, Svetozár ; Mukhametzianova, Leisan (referee) ; Kotek, Luboš (advisor)
The thesis deals with the contamination of the workspace with a liquid aerosol, which is generated by scattering and evaporation of the cooling fluid. Cooling fluid are primarily intended to lubricate, cool and clean the tool and the workpiece, but the unwanted side effect is the formation of a liquid aerosol that holds in the air of the workspace. In such a contaminated work environment, the operator is exposed to a certain dose of a liquid aerosol that causes dermatological and respiratory problems. The topic of the thesis was to find out the number of particles of liquid aerosol that arises under varying working conditions and its dispersion in space. This amount was determined by image analysis using a high-speed camera.
Production technology for gearbox
Efimov, Anton ; Sliwková, Petra (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
This thesis is devoted to the problem of the production of hulls of the gearboxes. The text of this final thesis shows the production technology for single and series production. At the same time, a critical amount of products for a different production options were established.
Possibility of using alternative sources of energy in manufacturing facility
Malchar, Jakub ; Skála, Zdeněk (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
The Master’s Thesis prospects the suitability of installing a photovoltaic system and a cogeneration unit in the LIPOELASTIC manufacturing facility and proposes their actual realization. Theoretical part describes said facility, its current energy supply situation and presents the proposed realizations' principle of operation. Practical part contains concrete calculations needed for realizations' proposal and their economic evaluation both independently and jointly.
Design of Oil Pump for T158 Transfer Case
Gášek, Martin ; Jakubec, Josef (referee) ; Dvořáček, Jiří (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with a new design of an oil pump for Tatra T158 transfer case. The new solution should replace earlier involute internal gear pump which is not able to provide sufficent lubrication. The main problem of the old design is a poor suction at low speeds of the vehicle. Gerotor type of the pump has been chosen. Its main advantages are a convenient specific flow rate and good volumetric efficency. In an analytic calculation of the pump gearing also important functional parameters have been checked, like a pressure angle, flow rate, flow irregularity, specific flow rate, specific slipping. A design with and without axial clearance compensation is introduced. Measurements on a test rig confirmed good suction ability even in low revs. Generated flow rate and pressure are improved. That is a good prerequisite for faster assembly of transfer case with no testing of each oil pump. The tests have not revealed any unexpected wear of parts of the pump so far. It is supposed an application of the new gerotor design in a serial production of T158 truck and other types in the future.
Application of Modern Technologies to Production of Prototype Form
Pospíšil, Josef ; Zemčík, Oskar (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
This Diploma Thesis deals with modern technologies such as 3D scanning, rapid prototyping and vacuum casting to production of prototype form. It considers advantages and disadvantages of the modern technologies compared to traditional process of manufacturing prototype form and economical contribution using the modern technologies. Part of the thesis considers a choice of suitable manufacturing technology of a particular product.
