Processing of Al-Sc aluminum alloy using SLM technology
Skulina, Daniel ; Náhlík, Luboš (referee) ; Koutný, Daniel (advisor)
Master's thesis deals with the experimental determination of process parameters reaching densities >99 % for scandium modified aluminium alloy (Scalmalloy®) processed by SLM. The alloy achieves higher mechanical properties than the AlSi10Mg aluminum alloy commonly used. The theoretical part deals mainly with the results of Scalmalloy® alloys. Experimental bodies, testing methodology and evaluation method were designed on the basis of the theoretical parts,. The practical part is divided into four main stages: experimental determination of process parameters, a description of the effect of the parameters used on the relative density achieved, examination of the influence of process parameters on surface quality and mechanical testing. The mechanical properties were determined for the best parameters.
Design of a family house PV system with electrical energy accumulation
Murgaš, Martin ; Klimeš, Lubomír (referee) ; Jaroš, Michal (advisor)
The master thesis will concern design of hybrid photovoltaic system for a family house with accumulation of electric energy. Three alternatives of power consumption will be made. For each alternative multiple simulations will be carried out with different amount of photovoltaic panels and batteries. The most appropriate alternative and size of photovoltaic system will be chosen based on those simulations. Finally the choice of alternative will be described.
Optimal layout proposal of technological workplaces at a small mechanical engineering company
Mohorko, Martin ; Dvořák, Milan (referee) ; Štroner, Marek (advisor)
This master´s thesis is focused on technological designing in a small company ENGITEC Motosport s.r.o. In first theoretical part of the thesis is this subject described in detail and analyzed in terms of economic and technical aspect. Next part describes the current state of the company and the production hall as well with keep on its current layout. In the following chapters is chosen piston-shaped component, which is manufactured by the company and three different variants of the piston production. Then one of them is selected, to which all related capacities calculations are made. In the final part of the thesis is proposed the relevant final layout of the hall and there is also the technical-economic evaluation of the most relevant variant included. Key words
Effect of vibrations on fatigue life of L 410 NG airplane flaps
Častulík, Lubomír ; Katrňák, Tomáš (referee) ; Vlček, Dalibor (advisor)
Diplomová práce se zabývá návrhem metodiky pro stanovení vlivu vibrací na únavovou životnost a rychlost šíření trhlin u vztlakových klapek letounu L 410 NG. Úvodní část práce obsahuje potřebné informace o letounu a zatížení vztlakových klapek.
Marketing Mix of the company Ing. Jozef Nedělník s.r.o
Sakalová, Michaela ; Schüller, David (referee) ; Chlebovský, Vít (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the marketing mix of Ing. Jozef Nedělník s.r.o. Based on the knowledge of the current state of the company is created a new design of the marketing mix with new opportunities and being found prosperity of the company which will make the company more prosperous.
Gland steam system for a steam turbine
Skala, Šimon ; Šrůtek, Petr (referee) ; Fiedler, Jan (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with preliminary design of condensing steam turbine with three unregulated steam outputs and its gland steam system particularly its description and design. The steam parameters in key outputs were determined in heat balance. The gland steam system parameters were calculated for different operating conditions. It also describes influence of pressure on performance of turbine in gland steam system. Finally, the inquiry sheet for gland steam system device was created based on calculated values.
Analysis of Tube Bending Process
Šrom, Jan ; Řiháček, Jan (referee) ; Peterková, Eva (advisor)
Master thesis analyzes rotary draw bending of the tubes without using a mandrel. Bending process is accompanied by many defects due to large displacement of formed material. One of the major defects is flattering of the cross section also called ovality. In order to decrease ovality comes up a proposal of the changes to the tool design. Modifications of tool’s geometry are numerically analyzed by finite element method in software ANSYS. According to the results of the simulations an optimized pressure die is manufactured. Several experimental tests are accomplished to verify the effect of the optimized tool design. Approximately 100 bends confirm a decrease of ovality using modified pressure die.
Optimization of SLM process for manufacturing of assault rifle muzzle device
Kubrický, Jakub ; Majzlík, Pavel (referee) ; Vtípil, Jaroslav (advisor)
The thesis deals with optimization of the manufacturing process of the muzzle device designed for assault rifle. The most common titanium alloy named Ti-6Al-4V was chosen for this task. The introduction summarizes previously existing types of muzzle devices and further describes the SLM technology with a special focus on titanium alloys processing. The optimization methods and their follow-up testing were designed according to theoretical knowledge that is summarized in the theoretical part of this work. Firstly, the aim was to describe the optimization of the manufacturing process with attention to preserving the relative density of the parts. Secondly, the mechanical properties of the parts that underwent different heat treatment were tested. The obtained data were then used to design and manufacture a muzzle device that underwent further testing in real condition afterwards.
Production of the mold plunger
Rosa, Jakub ; Chladil, Josef (referee) ; Osička, Karel (advisor)
The meaning of the diploma thesis is to create a new mold plunger for injection mold using a suitable method according to the original mold plunger. The final mold part should meet the required surface parameters. The work is focused on the analysis of the original mold plunger and the experimental verification of suitable methods of production of the equivalent mold plunger.
Technology design manufacturing threaded plastic ends
Vrátný, Martin ; Kebrle, Ondřej (referee) ; Kandus, Bohumil (advisor)
This diploma thesis submits a proposal of technology design manufacturing threaded plastic ends. In the first part it deals with literary studies of plastics and plastic injection molding. In the second part is the design of an injection form for the specified component. Part of the practical part is also the right choice of material and the injection mold, which was designed based on the calculations of technological parameters. In the conclusion of this thesis is technical economic evaluation.
