Transfer of transalpine landscape motifs in graphic art into selected works of Italian engravers of the early 16th century
Veselá, Markéta ; Zlatohlávek, Martin (advisor) ; Konečný, Lubomír (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to illustrate the phenomenon of the transfer of the transalpine landscape motifs in graphic art into the works of Italian engravers at the beginning of the six- teenth century, and by using detailed analysis of these prints lead to a decision as to why these transfers occur so frequently, mainly in the years 1500-1520. Because only brief mentions of these transfers are found in the available literature on this topic, and then often only as a statement, I decided to tackle this phenomenon in the context of landscape specifications. In the introductory chapter there will be a concise overview of the cultural situation of the humanistic society, including its assumptions and a brief evolution of depiction of landscape art. Additionally there will be a chapter about the terminology used, which in addition to clarifying the terminology also helps to further the description of the proce- ss itself. The main part will of course be a chapter dedicated into selected items. There will also be descriptions of the graphic works of selected Italian engravers, especially in the comparison of transferred landscape motifs from works by Albrecht Dürer and Lucas van Leyden. Analy- sis of the individual prints will focus on elements transmitted in the background of the works. Iconography...
Iconography of tarot cards, named Tarot of Mantegna
Skopalová, Eva ; Konečný, Lubomír (advisor) ; Purš, Ivo (referee)
The Iconography of Tarot Cards Known as the Mantegna Tarot Eva Skopalová Abstract: The text deals with a general idea of The So-Called Tarocchi of Mantegna. Individual sheets of the whole game are grouped by decades with letters E, D, C, B, A, and the total number of sheets is fifty. Each level of the system corresponds to a level of the universe in a way it was comprehended by a Renaissance man in the late 15th century in Northern Italy. The text brings out the idea of each level and the general idea of the whole system as well. I am connecting the system with thoughts of Raymond Lulle, which was an important element in thoughts of Nicolas of Cusa, who is considered to be a major creator of the idea of the ensemble. Subsequently, the reference of cards is dealt as the second life of the ensemble, firstly in the context of thoughts of Marsilio Ficino, but also as an idea of educative games of the 18th and 19th centuries.
Design for Manufacturing of an Assistant Facility for CO2 Laser
Okřina, Lukáš ; Kalivoda, Milan (referee) ; Slaný, Martin (advisor)
The main point of this thesis is a design of an assistant facility for low power CO2 lasers with a focus on a manufacturing process of the supporting metallic parts. The theoretical part of the thesis summarises the general subject-matter of CO2 laser technology, their types and industry utilisation. The thesis includes a review of main characteristics of the available assistant facilities. Main task is to design a construction of a new facility with the consecutive technological manufacturing process. The next part of this design is technical and economic evaluation in connection with mass production.
3D printer design with additional functions
Čechman, David ; Knispel, Lukáš (referee) ; Miškařík, Kamil (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to design advanced 3D printer with its aditional axis of rotation inculuding drive design and complete production documentation. Origin of the 3D printing and the most common types of printing are described in the first part of the thesis. The second part is focused on the design, construction and technical solution of the 3D printer with its adition functionality.
Laser micromachining
Láznička, Pavel ; Daněk, Ladislav (referee) ; Mrňa, Libor (advisor)
This thesis deals with lasers, their general theory and application. Then a theoretical part describes laser micromachining and engraving. Experimental part of thesis deals with several experiments performed by powered fibre laser which is not primarily intended for the field of micromachining. Experiments were mainly evaluated by several types of microscopes where the amount of removed material was appraised. By particular experiments removed material was in accordance with used working parameters of laser and a significant role plays machining material. It emerges from the experiments that for the field of laser micromachining and engraving shorter pulses are more suitable (minimal pulse duration was 1 ms in experiment) and it is connected even with a way of removing material. Applied powered laser can be used for micromachining in specific fields of production.
3D engraving milling machine
Bosák, Daniel ; Vetiška, Jan (referee) ; Bradáč, František (advisor)
This thesis deals with rebuilding of a laboratory manipulator to 3D engraving machine. First part of the thesis describes the engraving technology and lists the most common types of engraving machines. Next, the initial state of the machine is analysed and modifications of mechanical and electrical equipment are suggested. Design, realisation of a control system and human machine interface are described. The Beckhoff TwinCAT programming environment is used. The last part of the thesis deals with practical realisation and commissioning of the machine. The results of the thesis can be used as an addition for lessons of Automation of Production Machines.
Industrial Application of Laser Technology Focusing on Machining and Surfacing
Merenda, Petr ; Dvořák, Jaromír (referee) ; Slaný, Martin (advisor)
The topic focuses on implementation of the laser technologies onto machining operations, especially in the field of marking. In general, the work deals with problems of laser engraving of data matrix codes in car production. A special attention is devoted to the YAG and CO2 lasers. Experimental part of the work deals with results of laser engraving applied in the process of tampon printing.
Project of Engraving device for graphics creation
Hložek, Vojtěch ; Richter, Miloslav (referee) ; Horák, Karel (advisor)
The objective of this master's thesis is to design and implement a system which would be able to transfer a picture (either a bitmap or a vector image) on a foundational material. The main part of the apparatus consists of a plotter controlled by two stepping motors. The engraving itself is provided by a marker mounted to a movable part of engraving head. There was a PCB created for controlling the entire system. It contains power supplies, a microcontroller and motor and engraving head controlling circuits. The second part of the thesis shows a microcontroller program and a user interface in a PC. The image is trasfered from the PC into the microcontroller where it is processed and, based on the controlling program, engraved to the material.
DEL a.s. – Using of laser technologies
Flimelová, Miroslava ; Bičišťová, Radka ; Brajer, Jan
The aim of the study is to provide sufficient and specific information and documents on the selection and subsequent purchase of a laser source suitable accessories for it . The laser source will be used as a technological tool in building the company's innovation center for technological tests , pilot tests and develop new commercial applications .
To the roots - set of engravings (free technic photogravures on the theme man´s relation to the nature)
MUSIL, Karel
This thesis contains practical part and accompanying theoretical part. The practical part contains ten final sketches and ten engravings, elaborated with drypoint technique, using dichroic combination. This cycle of engravings is named {\clqq}To the roots``. The names of engravings are: {\clqq}Symbiosis``, {\clqq}Departure``, {\clqq}Barriers``, {\clqq}Disaffection``, {\clqq}Devastation 1``, {\clqq}Devastation 2``, {\clqq}Devastation 3``, {\clqq}Payback``, {\clqq}Lost values``, {\clqq}Apocalypsa``. The accompanying theoretical part is composed of four chapters. The first chapter contains my reflection of relation of man to nature. In second chapter I adduce examples of graphical art trends, or authors, who are by their approach adherent to the subject of man to nature relationship. In the third chapter I try to introduce my personal approaches and ideas that led to creation of practical part of the thesis. In last chapter I am concerned with the possibility of introduction of {\clqq}man to nature relationship`` issue to the educational process on Basic art schools.
