Possibility of using a speech therapy application as part of speech therapy prevention

The diploma thesis examines the usability of the speech therapy application for children of preschool age in speech therapy prevention. It focuses on the most common deficits in the areas of optical and auditory perception and seriality. It tracks progress, the most common mistakes and areas that are well developed in children. It investigates the possibilities of using the application in common practice during speech therapy prevention in kindergarten for children of preschool age. For the purposes of the research, was chosen a qualitative method, carried out by the method of analysis and interpretation of data from the results of testing eight children from kindergarten aged 4 to 7 years. In order to complete the issue, a structured interview was conducted with a speech therapy assistant who works in a kindergarten. It was found that the created logopedic application can be used both for individual logopedic prevention and in a group. The speech therapy assistant also recommends the application for independent work in the home environment. Furthermore, it was found that the most frequent deficits are in the area of auditory perception, especially the auditory differentiation of words. 1 ABSTRACT The bachelor's thesis focuses on the issues of development of auditory (hearing) perception in preschool children with specific language impairment from the perspective of their parents. It is a special educational topic in the field of speech and language therapy. The theoretical part of the bachelor's thesis introduces the issues of specific language impairment, auditory perception and its development. It contains knowledge of terminology, etiology, symptomatology, diagnostics and therapy of specific language impairment. It also focuses on the course of intact development of auditory perception and the consequences of its disturbance. It describes different parts of auditory perception and the possibilities of their development. The main aim of the research is to obtain information about the knowledge of parents of preschool children with specific language impairment about auditory perception, that is whether the parents' information about this issue is sufficient. This thesis is devoted to the topic of the level and development of auditory memory in children with specific language impairment in preschool age. The theoretical part of this thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter describes the characteristics of memory - the classification, stages of the memory process and it also lists some tests that are used for memory diagnostics. The second chapter of the thesis describes the memory level in children in preschool age, particularly the level of auditory memory. Development of phonemic hearing in children with impaired verbal communication skills utilizing the D.B. Elkonin method

The topic of the thesis is the development of phonematic hearing in children with impaired verbal communication skills, utilizing the method of Danil Boršovič Eľkonin. It deals with the training of language skills for selected kindergarten children with special needs. The thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. It summarizes theoretical definitions of basic terms such as language, speech, and communication. It describes disturbed communication abilities and its classification, it deals more with the characteristic of developmental dysphasia. It also deals with the concepts of phonetics and phonology, describes phonematic hearing and phonematic awareness. Last but not least, it outlines D.B. Elkonin's personality and his methodology. The practical part is of a qualitative character, which will give us access to the analysis of methodological procedures that we chose for this analysis. School readiness of children with dyslalia

Bachelor thesis has a goal to recapitulate current knowledge of school readiness and dyslalia problematics. Children with speech disorder, dyslalia attending main educational stream kindergartens were chosen on purpouse of research. Theoretical part of the thesis focuses on school readiness problematics and defines this concept. It also deals with dyslalia, its diagnosis and therapy. Conclusion of the theoretical part focuses on speech disorders prevention. The thesis follows up connection between school readiness and above- mentioned speech disorder. In particular individuals, it examines the current state of school readiness and assesses dyslalia problem areas. Quality reasearch was used in the thesis. Research information has been elaborated in case study design. For better clarity the dates are presented in charts. Main monitored areas are motorics, speech and auditory perception. Other areas related to school readiness, such as visual perception, perception of space and time, mathematical concepts, physical condition, ability to work and emotional maturity, were also monitored.
Development of speech and non-speech areas of a child with developmental dysphasia

The bachelor thesis is conducted as a case study of a boy with an expressive type of developmental dysphasia. This study deals with the possibilities of developing the individual speech and non-speech areas of a given boy. The theoretical part is focused on describing the development of children's speech, the theoretical definition of impaired communication ability and the theoretical anchorage of developmental dysphasia from the point of view of etiology, symptomatology and diagnostics. The theoretical part also deals with therapy and development of individual areas of a child with developmental dysphasia. The second part of the thesis is focused on the development of speech and non-speech areas from the practical side. It analyses the available medical reports and presents the results of the input and output guideline evaluations of individual areas of the boy. It also describes the course of development of individual areas of a given boy and presents the used material. The bachelor thesis therefore aims to analyse the speech and non-speech areas of a boy with developmental dysphasia and to describe the possibilities of their development. How to develop thinking and communication skills of preschool children in the context of Philosophy for Children.

The diploma thesis consists of theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with a definition of important concepts such as philosophy for children, historical development of this program, personality of a child, communication and thinking of pre-school children. The practical part is conceived as a controlled dialogue with children in preschool education, with a great emphasis on expressing their emotions and experiencing a given situation.
