Monitoring heart rate dynamics in rhythmic gymnastics group exercises
Kheilová, Andrea ; Holá, Iveta (advisor) ; Novotná, Viléma (referee)
Title: Monitoring heart rate dynamics in groups of rhythmic gymnastics. Objectives: The aim of work is monitoring heart rate dynamics in groups of rhythmic gymnastics in two different periods and in the competition. Subsequent comparison of measured results and their comparison within each period for one competitor and within all competitors in individual periods. Methods: For the research we used the method of measuring heart rate dynamics using a Garmin sporttester. The results were then subjected to examination and further compared and processed using statistical methods. Results: During the research, it was found that the stress exerted on the gymnasts during the competition significantly affected the values of their heart rate compared to the rest of the measurements that were made in training conditions. Keywords: rhythmic gymnastics, heart rate, stress, load, groups, sporttester

Diet comparison of athletes from different types of gymnastics
Kudláčková, Tereza ; Vilikus, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Petráková Doležalová, Radka (referee)
Gymnastics is an aesthetic sport in which the emphasis is placed on optimal physical appearance. However, this is often associated with maintaining an inadequately low body weight, which can have a negative impact on both health and sports performance. For some of its features, gymnastics is thus found to be one of the possible risk factors for eating disorders. When it comes to the teenage population of female athletes, the aforementioned issue becomes even more important. Teenage gymnasts between the ages of 15 and 18 from two gymnastic sports, rhythmic gymnastics and aerobic gymnastics, participated in the research carried out as part of this diploma thesis. The aim was to find out whether the diet of gymnasts differs depending on the different sports and whether these gymnasts consume food adequately both in terms of its quantity and quality. For this purpose, the gymnasts recorded their food intake, while the 4-day food records provided by 8 representatives of rhythmic gymnastics and 8 representatives of aerobic gymnastics were subsequently evaluated. Based on the average of 4 individual days data and comparing the results with the recommendations, it was found that the diet of the gymnasts was insufficient from an energy point of view. On average, the participants did not reach the...
The level of Czech rhythmic gymnastics during the 2022-2024 Olympic cycle
Kadlečková, Natálie ; Holá, Iveta (advisor) ; Novotná, Viléma (referee)
In this bachelor's thesis a level of Czech and world rhythmic gymnastics was compared using video-based observation method of free routines performed by selected rhythmic gymnasts in senior category, specifically free routines with ball and clubs. Title: The level of Czech rhythmic gymnastics during the 2022-2024 Olympic cycle Objectives: The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to assess and compare the established difficulty of free routines based on internationally valid FIG rules for selected gymnasts. Methods: The observed file consists of 3 rhythmic gymnasts. Each of them was analysed for free routines with ball and clubs. Thus, a total of six routines were assessed with the help of experts and then compared with each other. Results: The results of selected free routines analysis are summarized in simple charts. The analysis of the routines was firstly performed individually for each gymnast and then the results were compared with each other. The findings relate primarily to the content and overall difficulty of the routine. The observed difference in the level between the world's best gymnast and the Czech representative provides an incentive to reflect on the top-level preparation of Czech rhythmic gymnasts. Šťastná, Jana ; Satrapová, Lenka (advisor) ; Nováková, Tereza (referee)
Title: Specific changes on feet of rhythmic gymnasts and possibilities of physiotherapeutic influence of the feet with the help of a movement program Objectives: An objective of the thesis is to assess a function and specific changes on feet of rhythmic gymnasts and to demonstrate a positive influence of a movement program on these changes and the deteriorated function of the foot. To summarize the results of existing studies focused on influencing of proper function of the foot and to gain useful information from this experiment not only for physiotherapists, trainers and modern gymnasts but also for laical, actively sporting public which exhibit the same issues with the foot area Methods: The main essence of this scientific-research quantitative study is an influencing of deteriorated function and specific changes on feet of rhythmic gymnasts with the help of a movement program. The program was performed after each practice (i.e. 4 times a week) through the course of 3 months. 10 probands in the age from 14 to 17 years participated in the program. The experiment was based on the method of a comparison of 2 questionnaires and an entrance and exit kinesiological analysis, the part of which was also a test according to Véle (with visual control/without visual control) and a plantogram. Basic physical preparation in rhythmic gymnastics
Šimůnková, Iveta ; Novotná, Viléma (advisor) ; Hátlová, Běla (referee) ; Kopřivová, Jitka (referee)
of disertation Rhythmic gymnastics (RG) is the only Olympia sport of girls and women and it is characterized by precision, fluency and elegance of movement that emphasizes feminine beauty and grace. At present, there is no coherent concept of long-term sports training of talented gymnasts in Czech RG. The outflow of athletes is evident especially during prepubescence. Basic RG preparation aims gradual development of motor abilities, practice of sports (gymnastics) skills and the beginning of specialized techniques based on the principle of comprehensive movement base. This period (in rhythmic gymnastics between 7-9 years of gymnasts) for further performance growth is very substantial, in terms of content and in terms of training forms and influence of trainers (coaches). Defining the content of movement and gymnastic activities determines the path of development athletes and also defines (for caoches) performance criteria in each age category. The aim of disertation was to verify correspondence between published scientific theories and trainers experience of coaching using the Repertory Grid Technique. Along the way sixteen semi-structured interviews with selected experts was achieved interpersonal and intrapersonal data. Experts in the preparation of RG agreed on the fact that in practice a set of...
