Building corporate identity through social and new media
Kučerová, Tereza ; Köppl, Daniel (advisor) ; Miessler, Jan (referee)

Legal principles of environmental protection
Kučerová Tvardíková, Tereza ; Damohorský, Milan (advisor) ; Žákovská, Karolina (referee)
The main purpose of this thesis is to analyze and discuss different aspects of six selected environmental legal principles and to describe their role in three legal systems: international law, EU law and the Czech law. The chosen principles are: complexity and integrity principle, prevention principle, precautionary principle, access to information and public participation principle, and liability principles including polluter pays principle. The thesis is divided into three main chapters. Chapter One is introductory, defines legal principles from several points of legal - theoretical view and sets basic terminology used in the thesis. Chapter Two focuses on environmental law in its entirety and consists of two parts. The first one describes the system of environmental law and the role of legal principles within, part two enumerates environmental principles expresse d, explicitly or implicitly, in legal theory and crucial documents. Chapter Three is a key part of the thesis as it examines fundamental selected environmental principles in six separate sub-chapters. Each principle is firstly defined and its genesis, importance and significance described , then the author examines legal documents (including court decisions) to show how the given principle behaves in International, European and Czech Law.
Morphology development in children with specific language impairment - contribution to study prerequisites for the development of literacy skills in children at risk for dyslexia
Kučerová, Tereza ; Kucharská, Anna (advisor) ; Špačková, Klára (referee)
A b s t r a c t This thesis is based on two projects which follow one another and which deal with study of development of language and literacy skills in children at risk of dyslexia. The thesis describes the development of morphological awareness in children with specific language impairment. The level of morphological awareness was repeatedly tested during three years at children in preschool and early school age with the Test of morphological awareness. This method was prepared on the basis of Žlab's Test of language awareness (1992) and maps development of several subareas of morphological skills - gender forms, plural nouns, past tense and third person singular verb, adjective derivation and gramatical agreement. Several issues were concerned. First, whether the development of children in this age group is still ongoing and whether the Test of morphological awareness can measure this ongoing. Second, whether there are differences in the performance of children from normal speech development group (control group) and specific language impairment children group, where according to the disorder the morphological deficits can be expected. Qualitative analysis of observed subareas of morphology was also performed. The conclusions of analysis are discussed in the context of theoretical approaches, current...
The Development of Listening Comprehension and his Relation to Musical
KUČEROVÁ, Tereza
This diploma thesis deals with differences in the quality of phonematic listening as well as listening comprehension by pupils with above-average and below-average musical-auditory abilities. The goal of this work is a quantitative comparison of results from both tests. In the first part of the work is examined the theoretical basis of listening comprehension, phonematic listening and of musical abilities and skills. The work follows up musical-auditory abilities, their development and their influence on listening skills in German including researches in branches of other languages. In the practical part, we look by means of tests into the degree of comprehension to the German text and into the degree of phonematic literacy of pupils in German language. These are further compared by musically above-average and below-average group. The results of the work are exploitable for the teaching of listening comprehension, or for the development of phonematic listening.
Determination of adrenaline and noradrenaline in plasma by HPLC
Kučerová, Tereza ; Klapková, Eva (advisor) ; Kotaška, Karel (referee)
The target of this bacalary work was to validate the metod for determination of adrenaline and noradrenaline in plasma by high performance liquid chromatography with electrochemical (coulometric) detection. The metod was first necessary to optimize for the coulometric detection because it was used the Bio-Rad kit, which was designed to determine with amperometric detection. The principle of this metod is the chromatographic separation of substances with subsequent oxidation of the determined analyte passes through the analytic cell with coulometric detection. The part of the analytical procedure is the solid phase extraction. The part of this work was the optimization of the metod for the coulometric detector. For the analysis were selected following potentials: channel 1 - 350 mV with range 100 nA, channel 2 - 0 mV with range 50 nA, guard channel 0 mV with range 50 nA. Furthermore, the chromatographic metod was fully validated (accuracy, precision, limit of detection, robustness). In the conclusion was made interlaboratory comparison of results of 42 patients samples with those obtained in the hospital Šternberk.
Morphology development in children at family risk for dyslexia - contribution to study prerequisites for the development of literacy skills in children at risk for dyslexia
Kučerová, Tereza ; Kucharská, Anna (advisor) ; Špačková, Klára (referee)
A b s t r a c t This thesis is a part of the project concerning risk factors of manifestation of specific learning disabilities in children at risk of dyslexia. Specifically, it deals with the development of morphology in children with family history of specific learning disabilities. Children in preschool and early school age have been repeatedly within three years tested with a diagnostic tool called Test of morphological awareness based on the Test of language (Žlab, 1992). The aim of the study was to map the development of several sub-areas of morphological skills (gender forms, plural nouns, past tense and 3rd person singular verb, adjectives derivation and grammatical agreement). Several issues were concerned. First, whether the development of children in this age group is still ongoing and so if the performance is improving. Second, whether there are differences in the development of children from an intact group (with normal speech development) and a risk group (children from families where at least one parent has suffered from specific learning disabilities). Third, whether is the development influenced by intelligence or sex. Performance of children was also assessed qualitatively with respect to specific language features included in the monitored areas of morphology. The conclusions of each...

The diploma thesis "Brand Building of Freestyle Brands on the Example of Quiksilver" deals with the brand Quiksilver, its origin, development, global agency, its place on the Czech market and marketing strategies. The first part of this thesis covers the issues incorporated within the market of freestyle brands, their development and cultural environment in which they were formed.
