Pupils - foreigners in classes of a primary school

The thesis is focused on the education and socialization of schoolchild - foreigners in classrooms of primary school. In the theoretical section it summarizes the findings of the Vietnamese ethnic minority living in Prague and Chomutov, the legal anchoring of the education of schoolchild - foreigners on teacher competences. The thesis summarizes the problematic questions of inclusion of schoolchild - foreigners and the importance of multicultural education in primary school. In the research part it collects and evaluates experiences of teachers with education of Vietnamese students in some elementary schools in Prague. Specifics of the work of a novice teacher when integrating a pupil with a different mother tongue at a Czech primary school

This thesis deals with the problematics of the work of a novice teacher, who has a pupil with a different mother tongue in his class. Its aim is to identify the specifics that usually accompany the work of novice teachers when integrating these pupils. The text is structured into two parts, each of which is further divided into several chapters. The first, theoretical, part compiles and then presents expert knowledge on migration, inclusion and then education of pupils with a different mother tongue and, last but not least, the role of the school as well as teachers in the process of integration of these children. It also sets out the criteria that affect and influence pupil integration with a different mother tongue. The second part of the thesis is practical. It contains an analysis of the work of two teachers who currently have pupils with a different mother tongue in their class and are trying to integrate them. It is focused on the specifics of working with them. The analysis of their work is carried out on the criteria set out at the end of the theoretical part of this thesis. Pupils With Different Mother Tongue in a Czech School

The main goal of this diploma thesis entitled Pupils with Different Mother Tongue is evaluation of the set support measures created at FZŠ Trávníčkova. Moreover, the thesis aims to summarize the current requirements and needs of parents of pupils with different mother tongues. The theoretical part reviews reference literature on the topic, deals with terminology related to adaptation, and presents a summary of support measures at FZŠ Trávníčkova. It also includes a presentation of the school and the city district. The practical part is based on four research questions aimed at determining the satisfaction, degree and frequency of communication. Moreover, other needs of parents of pupils with various mother tongues and the degree of involvement of these parents in community activities of the school. The practical part is carried out by using several research methods - a questionnaire, interviews with parents or teachers and an analysis of school documents. In conclusion of this diploma thesis, the results of the research, recommendations for practise of this school and also suggestions for further research are summarized.
