Employee evaluation system in gastronomy

This thesis aims to analyse the system of employee evaluation at a specific company by comparing theoretical knowledge and its practical application and, after evaluating the findings, to propose an optimisation of the current system if necessary. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part uses available literature to define basic concepts in employee performance management and informs about the importance, objectives, prerequisites and criteria for a successful implementation of an employee evaluation system at a company. It also discusses commonly used methods of employee evaluation and the most frequent mistakes encountered in their application. The practical part introduces a specific company and then analyses its current employee evaluation system. This analysis has several parts - the first of them is a situational analysis, determining the current state of employee evaluation at the company, followed by an analysis of the perception of this system by the employees, both managers and executives. The third part evaluates the system's strengths and weaknesses, leading to proposed recommendations that should improve the current state of the employee evaluation system at the company.
Employee evaluation in ČSOB

This bachelor thesis is focused on the system of performance appraisal in ČSOB. The practical part starts with introduction of the analysed company, in following parts all relevant steps of appraisal process are defined using analysis of internal documents. Empirical part is based on ČSOB employees' survey. The aim of empirical part is to verify or reject stated hypothesis and adopt measures following to improvement within appraisal process. Stated recommendations should help to increase the efficiency of human resources management and also increase employees' satisfaction with the appraisal process.
Evaluation of Employees in the Environment of Virtual Organization

Master´s Thesis is focused on employee evaluation systems in the environment of virtual organizations, where employees are physically working at different place and therefore it is not possible to directly evaluate their work in real time. The goal of the thesis is to improve realization of human resources activities, primarily focused on employee evaluation. Due to the topic, main method used to obtain data was qualitative research. Research is partially empirical, however the results are applicable in selected company. The result of the thesis is proposal of a new employee evaluation system for Sii and also all related documentation for its implementation.

Bachelor thesis "Evaluation and remuneration of employees in organization" is focused on evaluation and reward schemes in an specific enterprise. For description of a real system enterprise xyz was chosen. The task of this work was to find weaknesses in the systems and suggest ways of possible improvement. This thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part provides basic concepts and definitions of evaluation and remuneration schemes. Practical part begins with an introduction of enterprise xyz followed by the detail description of the system of evaluation and remuneration of employees that the company uses. Then a survey, which aimed to find out staff satisfaction with the implemented system and its evaluation is presented. Based on the responses of employees and the theoretical part, proposals of improvements for greater efficiency and satisfaction of employees in the company were created.
Feedback of Students at the Faculty of Management of Prague School of Economics

The Bachelor thesis deals with the possibilities of internal quality control of teaching at universities when focusing on student`s evaluation of the courses at the Faculty of Management, the University of Economics in Prague. The object of the work is mainly to map the current state of feedback from both parties, the teachers and students as well. On the theoretical level, the thesis focuse on the evaluation of the emloyees in general as well on further evaluation of teaching quality at universities and deals with the student`s feedback in detail. The survey among students and teachers was carried out as a practical part of the thesis. The draft mapping possible changes was created in order to compare the acquired knowledge. The creation of internal regulation is a main topic. It consists of informing students about the location of the feedback results regular commenting on results of the evaluation by professors and changes in the content of the subject polls.

The practical part deals with analysis of the current evaluation system of employees in an unnamed banking institution and recommendations of changes based on a questionnaire survey.

This bachelor thesis is focused on the system of performance appraisal in a particular organization. The introduction of practical part is devoted to presentation of the analysed company which is subsequently examined through the analysis of internal documents and structured interviews on the topic of this issue with selected employees and managers of the company. Practical part of this bachelor thesis also compares the theoretical form of employee evaluation system with its form in practice. The aim of this work is identification of strengths and weaknesses of the evaluation system in examined company and formulation of proposals for its streamlining. These proposals should lead to improve the quality of human resources management and also to increase employee satisfaction.

We can influence our employees through their motivation considering their desires, wishes and fears. Motivation is the spark that sets the fire. It gets things started. Highly motivated individuals have willingness to get the job done efficiently and effectively, resulting in higher productivity, increased revenue, cost savings and satisfied employees. The key tool for handling and treating people at work is possession of motivation program which will enable to identify desired behaviors, determine achievable goals, define what constitutes achievement, create a clear plan, communicate the plane and continue to monitor and share results.

The goal of this master thesis is to analyze the employee evaluation system. A thesis objective is to estimate current situation in a given company, to identification strengths and weaknesses and to suggest a possible solution. The solution is administered on the basis questionnaire set analysis. The theoretical part includes objectives, criteria, evaluation categories, competence model description, it is making and the types. It also includes a description of the selected assessment methods with a focus on assessment interviews. The practical part analyzes processes connected to the assessment in the company. The main focus lies on the analysis of the questionnaire outcomes. Strenghts and weaknesses of the evaluation process are being evaluated and possible improvements are being suggested.
