Combining moral, character and social education with multicultural education in a realization of a project focusing on Romany people

This thesis deals with the problems concerning cross-curricular subjects, in particular focusing on Multicultural Education and Moral, Character and Social Education, their defining in the Framework Education Programme for Elementary Education. Furthermore, it outlines the possibility of their interconnection in a concrete project with the topic of Romany. This thesis is based on the conviction of the importance of the transcultural approach to the Multicultural education in practise. It also deals with the character of a teacher mainly in the relation to the above mentioned cross-curricular subjects. The main objective of this thesis is the actual realisation of the project in two selected schools. The project has already been put forward in my bachelor thesis. I committed myself there to the realisation of the project in practise and for that purpose the project itself had to be adjusted, namely shortened due to its time demandingness. The actual evaluation of the project is also a part of the practical section of this thesis.
Multicultural aspects at teachers work

In addition, the survey provides a certain historical context related to the education of minorities in the Czech Republic before 1989, and describes the current situation in the area of multicultural education in our country. It examines how teachers should be equipped to deal with situations linked to multicultural education and what teaching methods teachers use to motivate pupils. In the practical part, it shows examples of several lessons in which teachers work with broad topics of multicultural education. It also contains an overview of several case studies based on experience. The work should contribute to a greater discussion of the subject. Using innovative teaching methods to enhance social relationships in the classroom: focus on 6-10 year olds attending primary school

ANNOTATION: The aim of this dissertation is to determine whether innovative teaching methods may positively influence the quality of social relationships and whether they may contribute towards better communication and collaborative behaviour amongst pupils. The goal of the given approach is to develop positive group dynamics and create inspiring environment for the application of modern teaching methods. The theoretical part centres on the origins of innovative teaching methods that were largely motivated by the evolving conception of child's personality. This section describes some of the key alternative schools and programmes that gave rise to the aforementioned innovative teaching methods. The goal of the theoretical section is to clearly define the concept of innovative teaching methods with emphasis on those that contribute towards the formation of a positive classroom climate. The theoretical part then conceptualises innovation in teaching and explains the role of the teacher. The personality of a 10-year old and the attributes defining this developmental stage are also explored. The mental and physical demands of teacher's work

This bachelor thesis analyses the teaching profession and focuses on its possible demands and requirements. It takes into consideration an objective view of teacher's work as well as a subjective view of a teacher. The basis of this thesis is teacher's psychological professiography that describes individual teacher activities in specific conditions of school environment. It concentrates on requirements on the qualification, teacher's personality and time management along with atypical activities that are found in the teaching profession. An essential part of the thesis considers teacher's workload and its effects on teacher's personality and performance. A special attention is given to stress and its sources and consequences. The teaching profession is appraised as a relatively demanding profession with lots of different demands and expectations. The final section of the thesis contemplates possible ways and strategies of dealing with load and stress in a view of a natural organism defence and other means of dealing with stress. For instance, an effort to change an individual approach to a workload by means of various programmes and courses of continuing education, school resources and other ways.
How to use drama elements in music education with preschool children

This Bachelor thesis focuses on the effective acquisition of musical and content features of a song in pre-school children. This thesis aims to prove that it is possible to reach easier acquisition of a song and primarily the natural comprehension of its meaning by the use of selected methods of drama education, in connection with vocal and music education. In the introduction chapters, the thesis deals with brief characteristics of a pre-school child and the personal and professional prerequisites of a teacher in relation to managing drama and music education in pre-school children. The chapter is focused on musical abilities of children, and further on the meaning of vocal education and least but not last, on the methods of drama education used in the practical part of this thesis. The last chapter deals with the methodology of the structure of a drama lesson, focused on the acquisition of a song in a kindergarten. The practical part contains the examples of use of drama education for the purpose of the acquisition of a song applied in practice. Further, the success of applied lessons is compared in a questionnaire. Evaluation of the Influence of the Vocational Training Teacher Personality on the Level of Practical Skills Acquired by Students

This bachelor´s thesis consists of two key parts. The theoretical part is aimed at defining and describing selected attributes of the vocational training teacher. It involves a review and study of professional literature and has been made in the form of a literary research. The empirical part analyses opinions of students of a selected state secondary vocational school. The main method employed in the empirical part is a questionnaire research addressing second and third grade students of the Secondary Vocational School for Public Catering in Poděbrady. The goal of the research is to gather information as to how the students are influenced by the teacher´s gender and age, motivation, communication skills, character and employed teaching methods. The respective results are meant to assist the vocational training teachers in evaluating their work and, if appropriate, in implementing other measures aimed at a more effective teaching in the vocational context.
Assesment of the impact of the personality of teacher of practical training on the level of practical skills secondary school students

The bachelor thesis titled "The evaluation of the teacher's influence on the training skills asquisition in students of the school of nursing." deals with the survey of a practical training teacher's influence on forming students' positive attitude to job, which depends mainly on the teacher's personality. Teacher of practical training is very important part of education and interconnects theory with practise. He facilitates introduction to starting the job. Personality of teacher and his pedagogical skills have influence to attitude of students to practical teaching and to future job at all. Attention is especially paid to aspects of teachers personality and its effect to students motivation to improve their practical skills. The paper is divided into parts according to task. The theoretical part aims the importance of particular element of teachers personality and general pedagogical knowledge of students motivation. The text is based on the review of professional literature and knowledge gained within the pedagogical study. It is proved in the practical part which is based on the surfy within the students target group and follows the method of anonymous questionnaire. The form respondents are students of the second and third year of the school o nursing and had personal experience with minimum of two teachers of practice.
The use of Methods in Drama Education at Nursery School

This Bachelor thesis on the theme "Use of methods of drama in education in kindergartens" analyses what methods of drama in education are used in kindergartens. Its aim is to determine whether these methods are interesting and stimulating for children. The thesis is divided into the theoretical part and the practical part. The theoretical part explains the concept of drama in education and describes the development of drama in education in the world and in the Czech Republic. It also focuses on its goals, objectives, methods, and techniques. It mentions the teacher's personality, principles of influencing children, and the benefit of drama in education, especially in the area of stimulating. The practical part presents the results of the qualitative survey conducted by observing, to which attitude scales are added. The set for the research consists of preschool-age children; observation and attitude scales took place in the premises of kindergartens.
