Brožová, Eva ; Kinkorová, Ivana (advisor) ; Hráský, Pavel (referee)
Title: Assessment of muscle imbalances in handball players Objectives: The main aim of this work was to evaluate the occurrence of muscle imbalances in the handball players of the first - league team of woman by means of the kinesiological analysis and segmental analysis from the BIA method. Methods: In modified kinesiological analysis, we focused on assessing posture and examining shortened muscles. To segmental analysis by the BIA method, we used the Tanita MC - 980 apparatus, where we first assessed the asymmetry in the distribution of muscle mass on individual body segments. Results: In 80 % of the total, the upper cross syndrome was recorded. Lower cross syndrome was found in 67 % of the players. The results of segmental muscle mass analysis using BIA showed a statistically insignificant difference (p > 0.05) in the distribution of muscle mass in the upper limbs (average difference of 0.05 kg) and a statistically significant difference (p < 0.05) in the distribution of muscle mass at the lower of the limbs (average difference of 0.11 kg). The following significant correlations were found for the whole population (n = 15): m. Iliopsoas right and the amount of muscle mass (BIA) on right upper limb (r = 0.549), iliopsoas on the right and the amount of muscle mass (BIA) on left upper limb (r =...

Nutritional assessment of extraleague handball players
Laštovička, Petr ; Vilikus, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Matějů, Jarmila (referee)
This bachelor thesis is focused on nutritional assessment of extraleague handball players. The aim is to describe the importance of nutrition in sport and compare groups of professional athletes with amateurs. The thesis is divided into 2 parts. The theoretical part deals mainly with the importance of individual nutrients, the drinking regime, handball physiology and related energy metabolism. The practical part evaluates the results of the questionnaire and the four-day nutritional intake. The research team consisted of 20 extraleague handball players and 15 unprofessional athletes from the age of 18 to 29. The evaluation of the nutritional intake indicated insufficient energy intake, mainly in the form of carbohydrates. Differences were also found between two groups, when extraleague handball players compensate insufficient intake of carbohydrate by increased protein consumption, but unprofessional athletes have increased fat intake. Excessive intake of proteins and fats of animal origin was detected, which is also due to the fact that 85 % of the extraleague handball players did never consult their nutritional intake with a nutritionist. Key words: sports nutrition, handball, nutritional intake, energy intake, drinking regime
Motor abilities of younger school-age children in selected sports games
Březinová, Markéta ; Hájková, Jana (advisor) ; Přibyl, Ivan (referee)
The goal of the thesis is to determine the level of motoric abilities of the children in primary school age (years of birth 2006 and 2007) who do the selected sports games such handball, football, volleyball and basketball. I tested the level of motoric abilities using the test battery Unifittest (6 - 60) what is suitable tool for testing. The testing was carried out in six sports clubs in the Central Bohemian Region and the Vysočina Region. I compared the level of motoric abilities of the children in primary school age doing the sports with standard population and subsequently made a comparison between selected sports. The other task was also to determine whether the structure of sport performance of selected sports will influence the level of motoric abilities of the children in primary school age. The research-oriented part proves that there is no significant difference in average results. The testing showed that handball and basketball players have the highest levels of motoric abilities. The research also showed that the sportsmen in primary school age have the worst results in the tests focused on physical condition of players. KEYWORDS younger school-age children, motoric abilities, handball, fotball, voleyball, basketball, Unifittest (6-60)

Title: Stabilization training with sensorimotor tool Propriomed in handball Goal: The aim of our experiment was to evaluate an influence of short-term and long-term exercise with Propriomed on an accuracy of throwing ball in handball with taking speed of throwing into consideration. Methods: It was used an experiment to evaluate changes of throwing accuracy and speed depending on a specific intervention. Concretely interventions were an usual training unit without using Propriomed, an exercise unit with Propriomed and long-term exercising with Propriomed which lasted for a month. Measuring of values was always done before the beginning of training with participation of 11 probands. A radar gun named Stalker was used for measuring of speed throwing. Final values were processed in the programme Dartfish for an analysis of throwing accuracy. Results: Negative effect on throwing accuracy was found in the case of 7 probands because of exercise unit with Propriomed. In the case of 2 probands this intervention led to increase of accuracy and two probands were without an effect. Long-term intervention with Propriomed did not have a positive effect on throwing accuracy either. There was an exception of two probands with increasing accuracy after intervention. Both interventions had a positive effect on four...

Title: Analysis of defence systems and attributes of fast attack used for selected handbal team. Objectives: The objective of my dissertation was to find out reciprocal relations between defence systems and quantity (quality also) attributes of fast attack used for top handbal team in Czech republic. My next objective was analyzation of recorded values and comparation with available values of national teams from top events like Olympic games, European and World championship. Methods: We used for our dissertation methods of direct observation, indirect observation and analyzation. The results were processed by Microsoft office Excel 2007 and there was used chi-squared distribution of independence. Results: We found out in our dissertation that the observed team was frequently in fast attack during more agresive zone defence system 1:5 than the other defence systems used during games in season 2015/2016. The next detection is that observed team had almost the same quantity of fast attacks in one game like national teams during big international tournaments but there was found a big difference in proportional success of attacks for national teams. The participation of goals from fast attacks and total attacks is bigger for our observed team than for national teams on big international tournaments but...
