Social System of an Organization and its Quality

My thesis is dealing with the social system of an organisation and its quality. It is divided in the theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part I describe general aspects of an organisation concerning it a system of social relationships. I look at the development of an organisation in the course of time and I make an overview of the indicators and instruments used for measuring the system's quality. I applied my theoretical knowledge in the practical part. I measured the quality of social relationships with the indicators as social values and standards, corporate ethics and social climate. I consider them the most important in my thesis.
Analysis of IT and SW resources and their impact on communication on the Municipality of Rakovník

Firstly the thesis examines the communication within the organization and external communication and gives the answer to which information technology is used for its support. It also detects what impact these IT and software resources have for these types of communication. Secondly the application part is focused on the Municipality of Rakovník and communication within the organization and how to communicate with citizens. The thesis answers the question, which IT equipment and software support internal and external communication in the organization and which of them are specifically used for the support at the Municipality of Rakovník. It also focuses on identifying those funds and suggests the possibilities how to improve communication within the Rakovník Town Hall and with the public.
The Leader of organization in information / knowledge society

The thesis aims to analyze the role and work as a leader in the organization through systemic approaches and systemic thinking. Highlight the changes coming with the transition to an information / knowledge society and the replacement of manual workers' by knowledge workers. Emphasize the importance that not only tools have changed, but also paradigm. Take leader as a complex person, not only as an instrument of power, and find a way to balance on the way to his goal in such turbulent times. Look at the organization as a system by system theory and find a correct set of functionality. Starting with creation of rules, through the issue of putting the right elements to ensure the desired interactions between them.
A survey of ECM deployment in organizations operating in Slovakia

My bachelor thesis is dedicated to the topic of ECM deployment in organizations operating in the Slovak Republic. The goal is to characterize a market environment in Slovakia with respect to availability of different ECM products and legislation, to carry out a survey between public and private sector organizations and subsequently analyze and to compare obtained information with the state of the ECM industry in the world represented by the AIIM reports. In the introductory part of the thesis I am presenting the basic theoretical surroundings, the component approach, characteristics of an ECM suite and benefits of ECM deployment for an organization. In the next part I am describing the availability of ECM products and some legislative directives of the Slovak market environment linked to ECM. This is followed by a part which presents information about survey, how it was realised and its demographics. Obtained data is then described and presented graphically. Similar approach is used to compare the data with organizations in the world.
Social System of an Organization and its Quality

The thesis is based on the concept of an organization as a system of relations resulting from organization roles. The aim of the diploma thesis is to select tools and define criteria, by means of which the relations within an organization can be evaluated and their quality assessed. Theoretical part focuses on the explanation of the basic terms with organization and relations connected to it. Pursuant to this, specific tools are chosen, which enable evaluation of the organizational relations. Practical part then analyses the chosen organization as a system of relations resulting from organization roles and concentrates on the possibilities for their quality assessment by means of selected tools.
Analysis of the organizational culture SEAFOOD s.r.o.

The aim of the thesis is to analyze the organizational culture of the company SEAFOOD Ltd. and propose a set of measures which would contribute to strengthening the organizational culture of the company. Before starting the research the theoretical materials were investigated and hypotheses were set. The main theoretical basis in this thesis is the theory of E.H. Schein. During the work there were discussed as positive impacts of the organizational culture, as well as its restrictive side. In this work was also mentioned the issue of connection between the individual characteristics and qualities of the individual and his working career. After carrying out research, which consisted of writing surveys filled by company employees, guided interviews with some managers and observations, the conclusion about the current level, the problems and the strong sides of the organizational culture SEAFOOD Ltd. was made. After the conclusion there was suggested a set of actions which should lead to the strengthening of the organizational culture of the company and contribute to a higher level of identification of the company's employees with SEAFOOD Ltd.
Free Software and the Possibilities of its Application in Teaching at the Faculty of Management of Prague School of Economics

The bachelor thesis deals with the possibilities of using free software (and very closely related open source) in academic environment. At first, it explains the term itself and principles. It slightly affects the motivation factor, which goes along with this specific model of software development and also gives an overview of the subjects, which are involved in it. Then it focuses on key legal issues, including types of licenses. A summary of the pros and cons is included as well. The main part is the concrete offer and characteristics of programs divided into groups according to the focus. At the end the thesis introduces with the examples of use in practice.
Impact of IS/ICT on operation and structure of organization

The main goal of this master thesis is to prove by historical analysis the importance of implementation of information systems and information and communication technologies to companies and to show positives and negatives of these changes in an organization. Every single change in a company has its impact on company`s processes which is reflected by changes in organization`s structure and operation. The basic hypothesis of this work is to confirm that information systems and information and communication technologies significantly affect organizational structure and operation, change it and have a positive impact on it.
Managing organizational changes for improvement in business performance

Nowadays, due to the fact of growing external and internal influences, such as increasing competition, limited resources, globalization and new technology, every company is exposed to a potential threat of the inability to adapt to these pressures or inability to use them adequately for their advantage and benefits. As the only appropriate solution for this situation is offered an active approach to ongoing management of both strategic, but also small (incremental) organizational changes. Examples of these changes include changes in the organizational structure, business process reengineering, the use of new technologies, development of innovative products, etc. These changes are mainly supposed to direct the company towards continuous improvement of business performance and sustainable competitiveness. These activities also reveal a lot of (more or less) problematic areas and procedures and to them is devoted the first part of this work. Then, in the second part, there is described approach and techniques of managing these changes in a large software company over a specified period of time. Confrontation of this real praxis with the theoretical background is output of the final part of the work, including suggestions and recommendations of solutions for the areas of change management, in which the company has still room for improvement.
Management and organisation of the hotel Residence Agnes

The aim of Bachelor's paper is to analyse the methods and types of management and organisation of the hotel Residence Agnes. First part contains theoretical material, main definitions, classification of the hotels and types of management. Second part is consisted of practical using of the types of management, of analysis of organisation and management and of few advices for improving the situation in the future. Last part has a small guide about opening a hotel and some tips for doing it well. It is a some kind of summary of all knowledge got during the Bachelor's degree studies.
