V dnešní době stále sílících vnějších a vnitřních vlivů, jako je rostoucí konkurence, omezené zdroje, globalizace a nové technologie, je každá společnost vystavena potencionální hrozbě neschopnosti se těmto tlakům přizpůsobit či je umět adekvátně využít ve svůj prospěch. Jako jediné vhodné řešení této situace se nabízí aktivní přístup k neustálému řízení strategických, ale i malých (inkrementálních) organizačních změn. Jsou jimi například změny organizační struktury, restrukturalizace podnikových procesů, využití nových technologií, vývoj inovací produktů aj. Tyto změny pak mají především směřovat ke kontinuálnímu zvyšování podnikatelské výkonnosti a udržení konkurenceschopnosti. Tato činnost s sebou však přináší řadu více či méně problematických oblastí a postupů a právě jim je věnována první část této práce. Ve druhé části je pak rozebrán přístup k řízení těchto změn ve velké softwarové společnosti za určené období. Konfrontace těchto reálných aktivit s teoretickými podklady je pak výstup poslední části práce, včetně navržení a doporučení řešení pro oblasti implementace změn, ve kterých se v této společnosti ještě skrývají rezervy ke zdokonalování. Nowadays, due to the fact of growing external and internal influences, such as increasing competition, limited resources, globalization and new technology, every company is exposed to a potential threat of the inability to adapt to these pressures or inability to use them adequately for their advantage and benefits. As the only appropriate solution for this situation is offered an active approach to ongoing management of both strategic, but also small (incremental) organizational changes. Examples of these changes include changes in the organizational structure, business process reengineering, the use of new technologies, development of innovative products, etc. These changes are mainly supposed to direct the company towards continuous improvement of business performance and sustainable competitiveness. These activities also reveal a lot of (more or less) problematic areas and procedures and to them is devoted the first part of this work. Then, in the second part, there is described approach and techniques of managing these changes in a large software company over a specified period of time. Confrontation of this real praxis with the theoretical background is output of the final part of the work, including suggestions and recommendations of solutions for the areas of change management, in which the company has still room for improvement.
