The analysis of donations to the theatres

The thesis deals with the analysis of theatre - financing. One of the alternatives of theatre - financing is trough public budget grants (dotations). Grant application procedure differs among Czech regions due to various culture policies. Main goal of the thesis is to characterize grant application process within all Czech regions, excluding Prague, as one of several possible alternatives of theatre - financing and to analyze relationships between grants and related variables. The correlation analysis used in the thesis shows strong relationship between amounts addressed to theatres and the size of the region.

Congress Tourism in the Czech Republic

This diploma paper deals with a description and an analysis of the position of the Czech Republic and its regions in the field of the Congress Tourism. The first part of the paper contains a theoretic definition of the Congress Tourism. The another part devotes itself to the position of the Congress Tourism in the world and there are international organizations operating in the area of the Congress Tourism mentioned, and also a comparison of individual countries, or more precisely cities, by the medium of international statistics presented. Furthermore, there is a position of the Czech Republic as a whole described, most important organizations specified and a position of the regions based on the data of the Czech Statistical Office outlined. The last part of the diploma paper contains a description of the conditions for the Congress Tourism of the individual regions of the Czech Republic. At the conclusion, there are knowledges from the previous parts summarized.

Recent diminution of field of industry and influence on Železný Brod

The bachelor thesis is focused on fields of industry and their recent diminution. This tendency has significant influence on the economical indicators in the region. The theoretical part of the document is gathering regional theories, that are afterwards beeing used for the district analysis in practise. By means of the assembled theories and their calculations is estimated the presumable future trend. The practical part is devoted to glass industry in Železný Brod. The glass industry has in Železný Brod tradition of a great value and history, in this branch is employed the majority of local residents. During last years is the demand of glass products decreasing that affects the whole region.

The Regional Assembly and committee in South Bohemia

This work deals with an assembly as a main body in the South Bohemian Region. The objective of this work is to analyze its role in legal regularization. The first chapter pursues genesis of regions. The second chapter edits region election, election returns in each regular term and their interpretation. Then the work attends to right and duty of Assembly members. The next part of this work is making decisions in the Assembly in the Region. The last part follows the committees of the Regional Assembly -- important consultative bodies for the Regional Assembly.

Tourism as a Factor of Development in the Českolipsko Region

Tato práce charakterizuje cestovní ruch a jeho formy z hlediska jeho dopadu na hospodářský vývoj regionu. Zabývá se vývojem cestovního ruchu v České republice po roce 1989, dále hodnotí region Česká Lípa z hlediska polohy a jejího vlivu na rozvoj cestovního ruchu v regionu a obyvatelstva z demografického hlediska. Zaměřuje se i na vliv dopravní infrastruktury a přírodních podmínek na cestovní ruch. Soustřeďuje se na zdroje cestovního ruchu jako turistické zajímavosti, kulturní i přírodní památky a na hlavní centra a oblasti cestovního ruchu z hlediska atraktivity území. Dále práce analyzuje turistickou infrastrukturu jako ubytování a informační centra, možnosti rozvoje cestovního ruchu v regionu a vliv cestovního ruchu na rozvoj regionu. Předmětem analýzy jsou také způsoby propagace regionu. Závěrem práce hodnotí využití stávajícího potenciálu regionu, přínos cestovního ruchu i to, jak ovlivňuje rozvoj daného území. Navrhuje v tomto ohledu způsoby zlepšení a možnosti budoucího vývoje.

Sustainable development of municipalities and regions

Práce poskytuje komplexní pohled na proces udržitelného rozvoje na úrovni obcí a regionů v České republice. V úvodní části je vysvětlen samotný pojem i vývoj udržitelného rozvoje a politické nástroje vedoucí k jeho dosažení. Práce se dále zabývá strategickým řízením obcí a regionů prostřednictvím místní Agendy 21 a pomocí společných evropských indikátorů vyhodnocuje udržitelný rozvoj. Praktické naplňování principů udržitelného rozvoje je ukázáno na strategickém plánování Královéhradeckého kraje a samotného města Hradec Králové. V další části práce jsou hodnoceny programovací dokumenty a to zejména regionální operační program NUTS II Severovýchod 2007-2013 a jeho prioritní osy. Závěrečná kapitola analyzuje proces přípravy projektů spolufinancovaných z fondů Evropské unie a tři vybrané projekty směřující k udržitelnému rozvoji obcí a regionů.

Analýza financování rozvoje Pardubického kraje

Diplomová práce s názvem Analýza financování rozvoje Pardubického kraje zkoumá na konkrétním příkladu hospodaření Pardubického kraje možnosti financování rozvoje. Teoretická část práce vymezuje legislativní a institucionální rámec problematiky se zaměřením na finanční systém územní samosprávy ČR v kontextu strukturální politiky EU. Vlastní analýza financování rozvoje Pardubického kraje se zaměřuje na prozkoumání možností, které lze pro financování rozvojových projektů využít. Použité metody prokazují, že financování rozvoje kraje umožňuje především koncepční výdajová a investiční politika kraje.
