This diploma thesis focuses in the theoretical part on the concept of corporate culture. It explains its tools and resources focused primarily outwards on existing and potential customers. The practical part contains results of a survey which was conducted at a selected bank. The result is feedback on the form of corporate culture as perceived by the clients themselves, compared with the ideas of the company management. Finally I verify the hypothesis and present a proposal of possible solutions which may help to resolve these shortcomings.
Emotional States of Humans and their Determination using Speech Record Analysis
Lněnička, Jakub ; Míča, Ivan (referee) ; Smékal, Zdeněk (advisor)
The aim of the diploma project is to find a method through which it will be possibleto classify the selected emotion from speech. At the beginning of the work deals with the description of the human body and their voice-generating operation. Furthermore, the text deals with the problem of the human voice into digital form.Great attention is paid to the parameters of the speech signal with an emphasis on describing the symptoms to help the selected emotion. The work deals with therecognition of emotions and a description of some of them. The main part is finding the best methods to reduce symptoms of segmental and suprasegmental speech utterances. The results of success was achieved by comparing the classification of selected emotions when using multiple methods and compare their results. The most important criterion in assessing the results ofthe reduction parameters of the speech signal, based on previous research in this area.

Automatic vocal-oriented recognition of human emotions
Houdek, Miroslav ; Přinosil, Jiří (referee) ; Atassi, Hicham (advisor)
This master thesis concerns with emotional states and gender recognition on the basis of speech signal analysis. We used various prosodic and cepstral features for the description of the speech signal. In the text we describe non-invasive methods for glottal pulses estimation. The described features of speech were implemented in MATLAB. For their classification we used the GMM classifier, which uses the Gaussian probability distribution for modeling a feature space. Furthermore, we constructed a system for recognition of emotional states of the speaker and a system for gender recognition from speech. We tested the success of created systems with several features on speech signal segments of various lengths and compared the results. In the last part we tested the influence of speaker and gender on the success of emotional states recognition.

Identification of emotional state using speech signal analysis
Navrátil, Michal ; Atassi, Hicham (referee) ; Smékal, Zdeněk (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the analysis of human emotional states speaker by the help of analyse speech signals. The thesis has two parts. In the first part, the process of speech generating is described in addition to the description of the commonly used pre-processing methods such as denoising or preemphasis. The first part also deals with the major and minor prosody features, these features are: the fundamental frequency, energy, spectral features and time domain features such as the speech rate. The second part of this thesis deals with a task of emotion recognition from the speech signal. When we accumulate sufficient of the number of recordings emotive state will be able to rekognize emotive state with high probability. All project is prepared for use in real time. The last part of this thesis thesis contains description and results of the experiments made on a large number of speech records.

Emotions and aesthetic preferences evoked by animals in the context of nature conservation
Janovcová, Markéta
People have always seen animals as an important part of their lives. As a result of human activity and other factors, an increasing number of species are becoming endangered. Recently, nature conservation has become increasingly important, but conservation activities cannot do without public support, not only financial. For this reason, it is necessary to understand how people perceive animals and what implications this may have for planning conservation programmes. In this paper, we focused on positive perceptions of animals ascertained through aesthetic preferences (the beauty of the animal) and negative perception through emotions (fear and disgust). It was found that the beauty of the animal and attributed dangerousness have a decisive influence on the support of conservation activities in the preferred group of mammals, while body size and attributed intelligence do not. In contrast, reptiles are an often neglected group of vertebrates, yet they are perceived by humans quite consistently. Humans distinguish reptiles on the basis of external appearance, namely the presence of limbs. Thus, there is a separate group of legless reptiles represented mainly by snakes and legless lizards (e.g. Amphisbaenia), which have their own rules for evaluating beauty and emotions. As it was found in the...

Data were analyzed using Microsoft Excel and Google Forms. Results: Respondents most commonly experienced adventure at summer camp (48%) and in the context of tourism (44.1%). They mentioned that in the context of adventurous activities, they most frequently experienced excitement (59.1%), adrenaline (52%), or stepping out of their comfort zone (40.2%). 96.7% of respondents believe that the adventures they've had had a positive impact on them.
