Structure - space - city Urban block complation
Burešová, Karolína ; Kurtis, Gabriel (referee) ; Palaščák, Michal (advisor)
Based on a regulatory plan, I chose a plot of the city corner for my diploma thesis, which is an introduction to Francouzská Street. At present, this plot is used only as a parking lot, but it is located in an interesting busy place in the mouth of the five roads. Based on the new regulatory plan, the plot is located on the dominant site of the city piazzetta with a function full of people and commercial partners. My goal is to create a significant city corner, which will be a local dominant of the nearby area. The filling of the house is commercial, administrative, and residential. The proposal will allow fluctuations in the ratio between these functions due to the variability of market demand. With the statue of a staircase, I want to create a communication space for the residents of the house, where PROMENADE will be created and at the same time will serve as an interesting backdrop for the parterre.
LABORARTORY BRNO
Valchová, Jana ; Pospíšil, Zdeněk (referee) ; Boháč, Ivo (advisor)
The main task of our project was the gallery of architecture at the intersection of Street Koliště and Milady Horakove Street, on the edge of the first city ring road, called Ringstrasse, a remnant of the city walls in Brno. In my design, I came mainly from operational and communication links of the surroundings of our plot. The proposed mass gives the impression of a closed corner of the city block. The aim of my proposal is the gallery with additional forms of use.
Design of a Solution for Effective Analysis of Security Data
Podlesný, Šimon ; Gardian, Ján (referee) ; Luhan, Jan (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to design architecture capable of processing big data with focus on data leaks. For this purpose multiple data storage systems were described a and compared. The proposed architecture can load, process, store and access data for analytic purposes while taking into account authentication and authorisation of users and principles of modern agile infrastructure.
Architectural organism
Drbal, Jaroslav ; Mačuda, Michal (referee) ; Vítek, Jiří (advisor)
The inspiration is the human body. It is a fascinating grouping of diverse types of tissues, thanks to specialized cells that form organs that perform various tasks in your body - perfect cooperation of individual groups - organs. Your authorities should be understood as "machines" that fulfill your responsibilities throughout the system. These machines are suitable for us and help us so that we can get on our side as well. Man changes, he looks for the environment and organs, and therefore parts of his bodies change with whom. Motivation is the search for articulation of individual processes, principles taking place in the human body. They perceive them that it is possible to observe all the principles taking place on a microscopic scale and to approach us on a scale - they will reduce man. All is intertwined.
ZOO BUILDINGS – HERALDIC ZOO
Valchová, Jana ; Pospíšil, Zdeněk (referee) ; Boháč, Ivo (advisor)
The main idea of project is to design heraldic zoo in the area of old castle park Horní Hrad, which is located few kilometers next to the Karlovy Vary. Heraldry is science of knowledge of family symbols. Concretely it will be zoo, which will be focused on animals, which can be found on the old czech signs. The idea comes from surrounding relations of dramatic terrain and it's affected by context of the historic monument. Castle is the huge dominant of the all views to the surrounding countryside.
The mourning ceremony Hall Lisen
Chytková, Alžběta ; Marek, Jiří (referee) ; Šindlar, Jiljí (advisor) ; Pěnčík, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this project was to create a dignified place for The last farewell extending current cemetery in Brno Líšeň. The whole design takes in mind a grim situation of the visitors and mostly to right working of layout. The building is placed on the new axis on the northern cemetery border. The long pathway before the hall should bring to mind our journey in the life and big window in the funeral hall refers to infinity after the death. Building itself is made of two volumes. First of them is simple block with affiliated spaces and second one is a ceremony hall itself, which rises towards Marianské údolí. Technical service room is in the basement. The building is aimed to incorporation of the nature and material simplicity.
UNIVERSAL BASIC OPRESSION
Růžičková, Martina ; Jánoščík,, Václav (referee) ; Sterec, Pavel (advisor)
Master's thesis Polyamory Design Unit (PDU) explores the possibilities of collaboration between experts being active in fine arts, product design, graphic design, architecture and philosophy in order to create a speculative future scenario. Together with Jana Trundova, Simon Barak, Ondrej Mohyla and Lukas Likavcan, I create the concept and the presentation structure for a housing complex, which is designed for polyamoric coexistence of human and non-human entities. Such a coexistence is made possible by full automation of work and global implementation of universal basic income. These initial parameters constitute a big emancipatory potential, that could change present meaning of the concept of polyamory and thus redefine networks of relations in bigger scales too.
LABORARTORY BRNO
Lelkes, Ivana ; Krištof, Michal (referee) ; Ponešová, Barbora (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is a solution for corner building on ringstrasse in Brno. Building ground is on the east corner of crossroads of two streets with significantly busy trafic, Koliště and Milady Horákové. Architecture of the buildng responds to the realities of the environmet, to positive as well as to negative. The main idea of the concept is to create a house introverted to outside and extroverted to inside. Extroverted atrium is in a strong contrast with introverted facade, the building exposes the events realised inside to the extent possible.
LABORARTORY BRNO
Kočí, Tereza ; Kopečný, Petr (referee) ; Mikulášek, David (advisor)
New gallery of architecture and modern design. It's situated on the corner of Milady Horakove street and Koliště, which is a ring road. Its mass traditionally supplies the corner and its role supplies the cultural institutions on the ring road. My priority was to create a building with valuable interior space on the plot. The characteristic point of the building is a large roofed atrium, around which exhibition areas are located. Even within the atrium it is possible to exhibit - by hanging on the roof structure. Most light is coming from above into the building, so the windows on the facade are narrowest on the top and downwards they are expanding. In the building, there is some space for students and their activities - workshops and others, too.
