Health promotion at the 1st Primary School

The bachelor thesis topic is "Health Promotion at the 1st Primary School". The goal is to find out how are fullfiled the RVP ZV criteria from heatlh promotion. For the research were selected two Primary Schools in the Central Bohemian village Dolní Břežany. The theoretical part deals with the concept of health and its determinants. It describes ways how to promote health and reasons for supporting it in whole population. Thesis defines the concept of health literacy and the possibility of its increase among pupils at the 1st Primary Schools. It also mentions how health support is anchored in the RVP ZV and how is possible to build up surroundings at School, which will promote health. Further shows pupil characteristics of the younger school age and its developmental specifications. In the practical part, the bachelor thesis finds out how are fullfiled the RVP ZV criteria from heatlh promotion at two selected Primary schools. To achieve this it was used a qualitative survey based on two structured interviews for pupils at 1st Primary School and their teachers. Interviews were recorded to the recording device after that they were transferred to electronic version. In the conclusion part all acquired answers are evaluated and there are proposed few projects how to promote health.
Bullying prevention in primary school

The master's thesis is devoted to bullying prevention with a focus on primary school pupils. It has both theoretical and empirical character. The theoretical part provides a deeper insight into the issue of bullying clarifies relationships among its actors and the displays of bullying while focusing on types of pupils'aggression. It further provides knowledge of developmental psychology. The bullying prevention part is divided into a sub-part, which teachers can use at class level, and a sub-part, which schools implement at the level of school education programme. At the end the preventive programmes for primary school pupils and organizations which provide primary prevention are described. The empirical part comprises a research conducted using Korthagen's "Spiral of Professional Development". A "Cats'Garden" preventive programme was implemented in the second grade classes of a primary school. After the implementation, a detailed reflection was carried out, in which the basic aspects were evaluated and the alternative options were suggested. This diploma theses aims to examine the benefits of the method Wanda as a tool of the learning organization in primary school. The theoretical part focuses on the professional development of teachers, deals with the concept of learning organization and conditions of its application in primary schools and describes Wanda method and its use in teachers collective. The research part presents information about Wanda seminars for primary school teachers obtained from three sources - observation, questionnaire surveys and interviews with participants. It examines benefits and challenges of the method in specific cases and besides the positives and the pitfalls of the method it studies the conditions necessary for successful completion of Wanda seminars. The diploma thesis deals with the construction project of the new building of the primary school in Bobrová. The main goal of the thesis is to propose a suitable implementation procedure in relation to the specific place of the site. The thesis deals with the time schedule of the main object, itemized budget, major building machines and mechanisms, project of site equipment, study of the construction realization, material resources plan, technical report, time schedule and financial plan of the main object and also with the situation of the construction. It focuses in detail on the stage of earthworks, including the reinforcement of the walls of the building pit using soil nailing. For this stage a technological regulation and a control and test plan have been developed.
Implementation of support measures for pupils with specific behavioral disorders in primary schools

The diploma thesis is focused on providing support to pupils with specific behavioral disorders at ordinary primary schools. Its aim is to find out how support is provided to pupils with specific behavioral disorders at ordinary elementary schools, what are the potentialities for providing optimal support to these pupils and suggest possible measures and procedures to improve them. The thesis consists of theoretical and research part. The theoretical part characterizes specific behavioral disorders, education and support for pupils with these disorders. The research part of the thesis focuses on the implementation of support measures for pupils with specific behavioral disorders at selected elementary schools. This problem is solved in two levels. The first plane is qualitative, it is a case study of the school (author's workplace). The basis for the preparation of case report are interviews with school special pedagogues and unstructured observations. The second part is aimed at supporting pupils with specific behavioral disorders on a wider scale. The basis for the data is the questionnaire survey, which was attended by teachers and teacher assistants from other schools. Using mathematical calculations to solve problems in sciences

This work deals with word problems from natural sciences whose main mathematical apparatus are circle, sphere and their parts. The work is divided into three main parts - part about word problems, part about used mathematical apparatus in word problems and part containing verbal tasks from sciences. The first part defines the word problems and describes how to solve the problems. The second part contains the mathematical apparatus used in the word problems in part three. The third part is a collection of verbal tasks from the sciences, divided into the taskes solved at primary and secondary schools. The individual vocabulary is presented as a necessary theoretical basis of sciences. In the third part, I created most of the vocabulary myself.
Verbal assessment at primary schools in the Czech republic and in Switzerland

This thesis named Verbal assessment at primary schools in the Czech Republic and in Switzerland focuses on an introduction and a comparison of verbal assessment in these two countries. The comparison is intended as a tool for a mutual inspiration. The verbal assessment is a current topic due to the recent changes in the concept of primary education in the Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part deals with the definition of the term "assessment", its forms and types within the Czech system of education, then it is concentrated on the description of the verbal assessment in more detail. There is also the introduction to the educational concept of one alternative school. The following chapters contain basic information about Swiss education in the context of its history. The school system of evaluation is further described within the Swiss canton called Luzern. The practically empirical part of this thesis examines systems of evaluation at primary school in the Czech Republic and in Switzerland applying the research methods as the interview or the questionnaire. Pupils's transition to a lower secondary school after 5th and 4th grade

The diploma thesis pursues a pupil's transition to a lower secondary school. The theoretical part describes the development of Czech primary and lower secondary school. It compares the compulsory education in European countries and describes a phenomenon of transition in view of its development in an international context during the past few decades. The empirical part explores main topics of pupil's transition to higher level of education. The research is based on the case study of the primary school with pupil's transition from the fourth grade and from the fifth grade. The research aim is to find out how the transition is viewed by the pupils and their teachers and to find out the reasons for an alternation of classic model of the transition in the fifth grade of primary school. It presents the advantages and disadvantages of this modification in a view of current pupils' development. The results show that neither pupils nor the teachers perceive any major differences in a timing of the transition. For all the pupils, with no regard to the model of the transition, the more important change is the entering to the sixth grade, which is connected with the change of the curriculum.
