Výpočetní fotografie ve světelném poli a aplikace na panoramatické snímky
Kučera, Jan ; Šroubek, Filip (advisor) ; Šik, Martin (referee)
The digital photography is still trying to catch-up with its analogous counterpart and recording light direction is one of the most recent area of interest. The first and still the only one light-field camera for consumers, the Lytro camera, has reached market in 2011. This work introduces the light-field theory and recording with special emphasis on illustrating the principles in 2D, gives an overview of current hardware and ongoing research in the area and analyses the Lytro camera itself, describing the closed file formats and protocols it uses so that further research can be conducted. An important contribution of the work is a .NET portable library for developers, supplemented by a file editor as well as an application for wireless communication with the camera based on the library. Finally, the theory is used to discuss implications for light-field registration and linear panoramas. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
Image registration of ultrasound sequences using evolutionary algorithms
Hnízdilová, Bohdana ; Odstrčilík, Jan (referee) ; Mézl, Martin (advisor)
This master´s thesis deals with the registration of ultrasound sequences using evolutionary algorithms. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the process of image registration and its optimalization using genetic and metaheuristic algorithms. The thesis also presents problems that may occur during the registration of ultrasonographic images and various approaches to their registration. In the practical part of the work, several optimization methods for the registration of a number of sequences were implemented and compared.
Optimization techniques in image applications
Ondráček, Pavel ; Mézl, Martin (referee) ; Odstrčilík, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with methods for optimization in image processing. There is described some of optimization techniques and some applications in image processing. There is also described detailed procedure and realization of bee algorithm, genetic algorithm, PSO algorithm and their realization in image registration, matched filtering, image segmentation and image reconstruction. Algorithms and their efficiencies are compared in the particular application for image processing.
Numerical methods of image processing from NASA's SDO space probe
Object translation detection by phase correlation
Bureš, Jiří ; Martišek, Dalibor (referee) ; Hoderová, Jana (advisor)
This thesis discusses the detection of two similar shifted images by using phase correlation. The required mathematical bases (Fourier transform, window function and phase correlation) are properly defined and demonstrated in the relevant figures. A described algorithm of registration is applied on the sample picture.

Image registration
Jindra, Jakub ; Jiřík, Radovan (referee) ; Krátká, Lucie (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with various methods of image registration in the medical treatment. The criterias are elaborated for selecting the correct method of registration. This work describes parameters for proper transformation, identification, registration proces, a final assessment of registration for its approval and the corresponding evaluation. Some basic programs have already concerned with image registration and they are accompanied by basic information. This semester thesis also describes the basics of working with MRI and the creation of anatomical atlas from the magnetic resonation rat’s brain. In conclusion is described the creation of a simple graphical interface for viewing images of brain obtained from the magnetic resonance. Furthermore, the work deals with the registration of images according freely available programs and the related system of evaluation of these results. The scoring system is processed in a graphical users interface Matlab, where is used histograms, mosaic and evaluation using the cross.
Detection of environment changes using mobile robot camera image processing
Venglář, Vojtěch ; Růžička, Michal (referee) ; Krejsa, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis describes use of image processing in detection of environmental changes. The first part contains basic description of image processing methods and commonly used procedures. In the second part, an implementation of given problem solution using OpenCV library is shown.
Automatic segmentation of regions of interest in a human vertebra
Novosadová, Michaela ; Jan, Jiří (referee) ; Peter, Roman (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis describes anatomy of the spine and the most frequent pathologies of the spine with focus on those tumour diseases, that affect more and more people today. The other part of the work describes theory of image registration. The aim of this thesis is to create an algorithm able to do automatic segmentation of regions of interest in human vertebra (body and posterior elements). This segmentation can simplify the classification of tumour diseases of the spine in the future. A solution was designed on the base of theoretical knowledge. This solution is based on registration of segmented models on original vertebrae. The thesis also describes the process of the solution. For easier understanding, the process of solution and the evaluation of results are added with number of graphs, images and tables.
Real Time Suppression of Atmospheric Turbulence
Macků, Jiří ; Orság, Filip (referee) ; Marvan, Aleš (advisor)
This paper deals with removing undesirable image deformations caused by turbulences of Earth's atmosphere. The goal is to design and implement algorithm for suppression of atmosphere turbulence in video sequences to use in long-distance camera monitoring system. This paper also focuses on optimization of existing algorithms for running in real-time. Algorithm will be implemented in C++ programming language with use of library for computer vision OpenCV.
