Špániková, Lucia ; Šíma, Jan (advisor) ; Voráček, Josef (referee)
Topic: Typology of Visitors of Handball Club HC SPORTA Hlohovec. Object: The main aim of this thesis has been to design the typology of visitors of Handball Club HC SPORTA Hlohovec handball club. Methodology: The data have been collected by means of quantitative marketing research. The basic set was represented by 484 attendants at three different matches men's first league. In the synthetic part of thesis the typology has been devised via by methods of k-means. Results: The results of questionary research are presented through graphs in the analytical section. The synthetic section of the thesis is devoted to the description of the character of each of the four suggested segments. Key words: handball, sports viewer, typology, segmentation, k-means.

Searching for Objects in Pictures
Motlík, Matúš ; Žák, Marek (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with solving the problem of searching simple objects in pictures. The aim was to create a program that will be able to search simple objects in grayscale images. In this theses are described progressively steps of image processing. There are described preprocessing of image, segmentation, description of segmented data, classification and searching for objects in image.

Ultrasound Image Sequence Segmentation
Gallo, Vladimír ; Walek, Petr (referee) ; Mézl, Martin (advisor)
This paper presents basic principles of ultrasonography, review of different modes of medical ultrasound imaging, principle of contrast-enhanced ultrasonography and review of basic techniques of image segmentation. The individual methods based on edge detection and region growing were implemented in Matlab. The performance of algorithms were tested in each category using synthetic and phantom image data.

Rotational 3D scanner
Švehla, Ľubomír ; Polák, Ladislav (referee) ; Kaller, Ondřej (advisor)
The point of this project is to design and construct a rotational 3D scanner. It is both about the hardware and software part. Low construction price is important factor in the hardware part and therefore the hardware part is really simple. Software part is solved by the FFmpeg tool and programming environment MATLAB. From the selected number of frames from the synchronized video the irradiated part is segmented. Consequently by compositing these traces a 3D model is gained. To gain a better result, the program uses two cameras. Program can be fully controlled from GUI.

Machine Understanding of Maps and Optimal Trajectory Calculation
Kršák, Pavol ; Burian, František (referee) ; Chromý, Adam (advisor)
The teasis deals with the creation of software tools, which use human element to extracts data necessary for navigation in the field of raster maps for orienteering. To achieve this goal, it is important to segment individual sections of the map according to symbols on the map. These symbols are illustrated on the map with one colour or combinations of colours, which create patterns. Because of identification of individual symbols, the work deals with segmentation according to colours and pattern matching. To navigate in the field is important information on height differences on the ground , for this reason the work discusses the position of contour identification and determination of their heights. Combining terrain data with data about height differences will create a 3D color models in XNA. To navigate in such a terrain that is used A* algorithm , in which the test several heuristic model defined distance. The A* algorithm then provides the optimum route according to specified criteria .The resulting application conveys the necessary tools to analyze raster maps orienteering , these tools are the manual and the automatic nature. The work includes detailed operating instructions of developed application.

Software for Biometric Recognition of a Human Eye Iris
Maruniak, Lukáš ; Orság, Filip (referee) ; Drahanský, Martin (advisor)
In my thesis, I focus on the task of recognizing human iris from an image. In the beginning, the work deals with a question of biometrics, its importance and basic concepts, which are necessary for use in following text. Subsequently process of human Iris detection is described together with theory of evolution algorithms. In the implementation part, is described the design of implemented solution, which uses evolution algorithms, where is emphasis on correct pupil and iris boundary detection.

Ultrasound image registration based on active contours
Hesko, Branislav ; Jakubíček, Roman (referee) ; Harabiš, Vratislav (advisor)
This diploma thesis aims to implement an active contour method for ultrasound image segmentation. Properties of ultrasound images, basic segmentation approaches and a~principle of choosen active contour methods are described within theoretical part. Two different groups of active contour methods exists, methods with use of gradient and without use of gradient as image feature. For comparision, one method of each group is implemented in practical part and subsequently, segmentation efficiency and properties of methods are compared in evaluation part.
