Material position tracking in production hall
Sládeček, Michal ; Otáhal, Alexandr (referee) ; Hejátková, Edita (advisor)
This diploma thesis describes implementation of an indoor positioning system for tracking the location and movement of material and products through the manufacturing plant. The system is designed with regards to simple installation and low overall implementation costs. It utilizes method of Wi-Fi and magnetic field fingerprinting. The system employs a client hardware (active tag with Wi-Fi module and sensors designed for this project) communicating with a server software which does the mapping and fingerprinting processing. Finall positioning system is prepared to collect locations data for further analysis aiming to improve efficiency of manufacturing processes.
Intelligent Control Using Hand Gestures
Apjar, Martin ; Hyrš, Martin (referee) ; Šimek, Václav (advisor)
This work deals with a creation of the device suitable for capturing the gestures of the human´s hand, selection of suitable sensors, creation of service software and communication proposal. The device working is based on Arduino board with microprocessor from the company Atmel ATmega32u4. In the first part of the thesis a detailed search of the existing ways of solving the given problem was performed. The following sections are devoted to the design of my solution, the description of the fabrication of the model body and the description of the used materials. Further, the Thesis contains a description of all sensors and scanners and a detailed description of the supplied PCB. At the end we will find the program section where the control and sensor work is disassembled. The result of this work is a hand-held model and firmware.
Prerequisites for building magnetometer out of carbon nanotubes for geological applications
Mazanec, Martin ; Kletetschka, Günther (advisor) ; Kohout, Tomáš (referee)
This thesis is the first step in a long-therm project with object to built magnetometer from carbon nanotubes. At the beginning of the thesis is introduction to magnetism and its basic physical characteristics, brief description of the Earth's magnetic field, some magnetic minerals and material behavior in a magnetic filed. All this in a geological context. In the second part I focus on the measurment of the magnetic field, especially on some specific device. The third part deals with the allotrope of carbon - graphene structures. It offers a brief overview of thein properties, one chapter about the productiona and possible use. In discussion I try to combine these parts with a specific purpose, which is the uso of carbon nanotubes in measuring the rock magnetism. We present a simplified funcion principle of the discussed device, the first steps of construction and inicial measurment.
Automatic elevation and azimuth measurement system
Večeřa, Jindřich ; Kasal, Miroslav (referee) ; Záplata, Filip (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis deals with an automatic elevation and azimuth measurement system, which will be used for antenna positioning. It is realized by using magnetometer and accelerometer. Important part of the system is tilt compensation and calibration for selected location. This system will send data to PC and also display them on LCD display. This project contains theory of measured quantities, method choice, component choice, realization of wiring, PCB design, programming device, testing device and accuracy determination.
3D controller
Hrubý, Lukáš ; Fujcik, Lukáš (referee) ; Bohrn, Marek (advisor)
The following work deals with problems of scanning of device position in space, processing of collected data about its position and sending these data to end device. In scope of this work will be created special controller which will use accelerometer, gyroscope and magnetometer to scan its actual position in respect to Earth and it will wirelesly send its position to controlled device. Individual components for proposal will be chosen based on previous experience and available documentation.
Electronic Compass Based on Three-Axis Magnetometer
Okoun, Petr ; Povalač, Aleš (referee) ; Šebesta, Jiří (advisor)
This semestral thesis deals with development of electronic compass with three-axis magnetometer which eliminates deficiencies of magnetic compass and then the developed device is usable anywhere at Earth's surface around the world. A compass is able to measure the azimuth only if its position is horizontal. Bearing in mind that this condition cannot be satisfied in any case, the solution of compass tilt compensation using accelerometer is part of the project.
Microcontroller based system equipped by MEMS magnetometer
Haring, Filip ; Šír, Michal (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
This project deals with design and implementation of measurement system, which is used for magnetic fields measurement. Measured values are displayed on graphic LCD and sent to PC. The project solves software and hardware implementation of measurement system.
9DOF module for orientation measurement
Hojdík, Matej ; Šebesta, Jiří (referee) ; Frýza, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis deals with a design of 9DOF module for the evaluation of orientation in space. The thesis includes a theoretical description of sensors, mathematical apparatus for rotating and the Kalman filter. The practical part deals with the design of hardware, firmware and software, whereby the mathematical formulas set out in the theoretical part are applied. In the last part a testing of the created module is presented.
Rotational Display
Konečný, Ondřej ; Šimek, Václav (referee) ; Růžička, Richard (advisor)
This thesis describes the process of hardware and software development of a rotational display, that uses accelerometer for acquisition of placement data. It explains the principle of operation of the rotational display and of the components that were used. There are discussed various ways of accelerometer usage for these purposes and there is also explained the solution of the problem of timing for the purposes of displaying. In the end the thesis summarizes the results of the development process and outlines possible future development.
Development of Platform for Three-Rotor Helicopter
Votava, Martin ; Rozman, Jaroslav (referee) ; Hájek, Josef (advisor)
The goal of this master's thesis is design and built of platform for three-rotor helicopter development. The helicopter is also known as tricopter. Theoretical part describes principle of tricopter's flight and stabilization. There is also described basics inertial navigation system and sensors which are required for correct functionality. Practical part is dedicated to development of tricopter's frame, schematics diagram, communication between subsystems and stabilization system development. Flight stablization system is base on ATmega128A an using PID Controller. In the end is described testing of developed platform.
