The Special Work Visa as a tool of economic migration

The diploma thesis deals with the Special Work Visa (SWV) as a tool to solve the problem of the shortage of unskilled workers in agriculture, forestry and food labor market in the Czech Republic. This instrument of economic migration came into effect in December 2019 under the Czech Government regulation No. 291/1999 on special work visas for citizens of Ukraine working in agriculture, food or forestry. The main goal of this diploma thesis is to compare the practice with the newly introduced SWV with its intention - getting foreign workers into the country in a faster and easier way. The next goal of the thesis is to analyze the formation and conditions of obtaining a Special Work Visa. The third goal is to find out how was labor migration developing after 1989 and the third one is to discover the current trends of employment policy for foreigners in the Czech Republic. The thesis uses primary and secondary data and uses the dual labor market theory which explains the reasons for labor migration. The research part draws on semi-structured expert interviews. The work first analyzes the problem of labor shortages in the Czech labor market and deals with the establishment of Special Work Visa. Zkušenosti dobrovolníků v uprchlických táborech: případové studie Bosny a Hercegoviny a Srbska

This bachelor thesis is devoted to volunteering in refugee camps in Bosnia and Herze-govina and Serbia. The main aim of the thesis is to describe experiences of the volun-teers who, through the Czech organisation Pomáháme lidem na útěku, worked in the refugee camps as humanitarian workers. In the theoretical part, the thesis offers defini-tions of basic terms and explains the concept of volunteering. Subsequently, the Euro-pean Migration Crisis is briefly described together with its causes, course and impact on individual countries situated on the Balkan Migration Route, which concludes the theoretical part. In the practical part, the motivation, experiences and benefits in the personal and professional life of individual volunteers, through structured interviews, are ascertained. The analysis of inter-views also examines the view of volunteers on the topic of refugee crisis and also how this topic is perceived from their perspective within the Czech society.
The Diagnosis of Paranoid Schizophrenia from the Perspective of Parents of the Diagnosed Individuals

In this bachelor's thesis, I deal with the experiences of parents whose descendants were diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia. At the beginning of the theoretical part, I first describe several points of view which can be used when referring to psychotic states: a diagnostic perspective, non-diagnostic perspectives, and an anti-diagnostic perspective. Subsequently, I cover the diagnosis of paranoid schizophrenia both from the medical point of view, through its diagnostic manifestations, progressive forms and possibilities of treatment, and as a factor significantly affecting the quality of life. Furthermore, I focus on attitudes, emotions, behavioral patterns and needs of the parents of the diagnosed descendants. The theoretical part of the thesis is concluded with a chapter concerning with various options of psychosocial support for a family system one of whose members has got an experience with a psychotic episode. The empirical part is focused on the experiences of parents whose descendants were given the diagnosis in the age of fifteen or later. Nurse and the Care for Patients from Different Cultures

Increased migration brings together more cultures, so there are more frequent encounters with these patients in healthcare. For these reasons, nursing staff should choose the right approach and focus on the patient's specific needs. The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis deals with transcultural nursing, its history and basic concepts related to this issue. Attention is also paid to nurses' attitudes, patient needs and cultures' specifics. Two aids were set in the bachelor thesis, the first one was to map how nurses perceive a patient from different culture, the second one was to find out the most common problems occuring during practice. A qualitative survey using semi-structured interview with nurses working in hospital and outpatient care was used to determine the results. The results were then categorized into categories and subcategories by pencil and paper method. On the basis of the research, it was found that nurses try to perceive all patients in the same way. However, they realize that they sometimes encounter prejudices which they try to avoid. The issues related to the most common problems that nurses face were extensit. Nurses most often deal with communication difficulties, such as misunderstanding, language barriers, and disobeying all information from healthcare professional. In addition, problems with food, frequent, numerous and noisy visits, aggression, shame or fear of pain were also mentioned. In the case of believers, there were also mentioned problems with prayer rituals. The results of the bachelor thesis can be used for presentation at a professional conferenceor in a professional journal.

Aim: To assess patients' experiences with acupuncture focusing on the patients' expected effect before, during and after treatment, on the potential change in expectations during treatment and on its potential effect on treatment outcomes, and on the evaluation of the truly perceived therapeutic effect. Methods: Using semistructured questionnaires, we led interviews with selected patients in the period from 19. 9. 2015 to 18. 5. 2016. Rewritten dialogues were afterwards coded in MAXQDA 12 and evaluated using the content analysis method. Results: Content analysis identified topics related to the expected and actual effect of acupuncture. This diploma thesis deals with the perception of the speed of the vehicle from the point of view of the driver without the possibility of checking the speedometer. The theoretical part is devoted to the driver as a risk factor and vehicle research. The practical part consists of conducted driving tests concerning the subjective perception of the driver according to age, experience and type of vehicle.
Proposal for Development of the Manager

The aim of my bachelor thesis is to make a proposal how a manager should develop himself, what abilities are necessary to emphasise and what the key features of the right manager are. The theoretical part deals with the manager issues and manager development. It solves and tries to answer the question how the manager should develop himself and what he should do for his personal development. The result of this thesis is my own proposal and recommendation for a young ambitious manager. This proposal has been based on the combination of qualitative and quantitative research.
The Development of health policy approach to homeopathy in the early 21st century

Lenka Rabová, Vývoj přístupu zdravotní politiky k homeopatii na počátku 21. století Abstract The research theme of this thesis is the trend of raising disbelief of patients in Czech Republic in scientific medicine. The goal of the thesis is to reflect evolution of the homeopathy status in CZ from 1989 to present and to find causes and factors, for which patients prefers treatment by homeopathy, instead of scientific medicine. For the research, methods of (1) critical discourse analysis (CDA) (2) institutional analysis and (3) semi structured interview. The result: Homeopathy was tolerated between years of 1991-1996 by ČLS JEP. Worldwide studies of homeopathy gradually led to the summary of the assessment findings to the inefficiency of homeopathy. In the last five to ten years we can see strong critical and professional discourse on the national (CLS JEP, CLK Sysifos) and international (HNMRC, FDA) levels, which strongly aims against homeopathy. Homeopathy is being used by the patients because of lack of trust in scientific medicine, which is caused by commercializing of the scientific medicine, dissatisfaction of doctor's attitude, dissatisfaction of the methods and practices of scientific medicine, its results and absence of the holistic treatment. Selected aspects and patterns of magic mushrooms and LSD use at patients at the psychiatric hospital in Dobřany

Backrounds: Former Czechoslovakia was known for the studies of halucinogens and their use in cure in psychiatric care. In the last couple of years LSD and other halucinogens have been coming to renaissance again. Nowadays researchers are returning to these theories and they are trying to follow these studies. In the Czech Republic according to studies conducted in 2002, 2004 and 2008, there was an increase in the use of all drugs in general population. For example there was an increase of 2.5 times more of use between 2002 and 2008 (from 2.2% to 5.6%). The same increase showed the use of halucinogen mushrooms that were monitored only in 2004 and 2008. Objectives: The main point of the whole research was to map aspects and patterns of the use of magic mushrooms and LSD and monitor the outcome on these patients, also monitor their physical and psychiatric problems. Forms of Family and School Cooperation at the Beginning of School Attandance

This thesis focuses on forms of cooperation between family and school at the beginning of school attendance. The theoretical part defines family and school as educational institutions and traces the development of cooperation between these institutions. It shows current trends in cooperation between family and school using the elements of a strategy of innovative educational program Step by Step and project Parents welcome. It refers to the elements that affect mutual relations. At the beginning of the empirical part is first described the methodology of qualitative research. The main techniques used were observation, questioning and interviews with teaching staff and the parents of pupils at two schools - at the average primary school and at the school using the program Start together, which received a certificate Parents welcome. Partner reality was analyzed on the basis of a document Competent teacher of the 21st century: An international professional quality framework ISSA. The research identified the actual situation in each school, its benefits and weaknesses.
