Goal of this thesis is modernization and extension of established web portal serving to create and manage invoices. The design and implementation emphasis on feedback from users so changes are really a benefit and not a burden. Uses wide range of different technologies and implementation is done using incremental model. Analyzes the impact of changes to number of visitors and receives feedback from users.
Portal for Aggregation of Data from Web Sources

This thesis deals with data extraction and data aggregation from heterogeneous web sources. The goal is to create a platform and a functional web application using appropriate technologies. The main focus of the thesis is on the application design and implementation. The application domain is accommodation or lease of apartments. For the data extraction, we use the portal API or a wrapper. Obtained data is stored in a document database. In this thesis, we managed to design and implement a system that allows to obtain rental ads from multiple web sources at the same time and to present them in a uniform way.
Web Portal for Cooperation of BUT Students

This bachelor thesis deal with the process of creating modern web applications with using UX methods. The aim is to design a web portal to support students cooperation and  verify the design using a test version. Collaborative support focuses on the process of looking for project collaborators. The system allows users to create their own project or to be interested in an existing positions. The web portal was created with modern web technologies such as Laravel or React library.  The output of the thesis is the design, prototype and evaluation of the application, based on user testing.

It analyzes the issues of e-learning, coaching and mentoring and then defines the target audience and its needs. At the same time, it deals with technological startups and describes the process of building the portal in the context of the startup. The practical part focuses on the development itself, project management and project sustainability.
Web portal for organizing races

This bachelor thesis deals with system for support of races. CMS Drupal is used to manage this system, which this system is suitable for web site content management. The first part of this work is devoted to the description and requirements that the proposed system for the support of races has to contain. The second part of the thesis deals with comparison of available CMS systems. Here are the most commonly used CMS systems that are currently available in OpenSource licenses. Next, there is a possibility to create a custom content management system, or use it with one CMS system. The third part is devoted to designing a web portal. This section contains flowcharts describing the principle of how each function works. It also contains a description of the basic structure of the web portal and the procedure for installing the CMS system. The last part describes the practical realization of the web portal. The procedure for accessing data stored in the MySQL database, generating start and result documents in a PDF file, registering racers, using client mail and setting up a CMS system is described here. In conclusion, all the results of the work are summarized.

The master's thesis deals with the design of a universal web portal, which will allow any information system of a selected company to be interconnected with any information system of suppliers and customers. The web portal will contain information about availability, product pricing, and offers modules such as managing business partners accounts, creating special offers and ordering pre-selected products. Implementation is performed in PHP with MySQL database support. The partial aim of this master's thesis is to deploy the designed portal in the chosen company and for its business partners.
Web Service for Master's Theses Supervision

This thesis deals with design and implementation of new version of web portal for master's thesis supervisioin. The website is written in PHP using Nette framework. The goal of this application is to simplify the work of theses supervisors. The application provides supervisors with overview of students' activity by weekly reports. It allows students to cooperate and share information and motivation. The main reasons for creating a new implementation were improvement and extension of functionality and improvement of user interface and user experience. Results of testing show that all the above-mentioned changes were successful. Users are more satisfied, especially with the user interface.
Proposal for the use of social networks to support the web portal

This thesis deals with the proposal of utilization of social networks to increase the competitiveness of the web portal focusing on gastronomy. It focuses on the proposal of marketing activities for the social network Facebook. The first part defines the basic concepts of social networks, their marketing possibilities and the concept of Competitive Intelligence. The second part contains the proposal of the web portal in terms of user, administrative, financial and social requirements. Based on the requirements, the appropriate technologies are compared and selected. The third part analyzes the activities of competitive web portals on the Facebook social network using appropriate tools. The fourth part introduces a proposal for marketing activities on the Facebook social network for the web portal.
Use of social networks to support the web portal

This diploma thesis deals with the use of social networks for business support. Its main focus lies in designing a strategy for working with Facebook's social network of Coffee Media s.r.o. The first part of this work summarizes general theoretical knowledge from the field of social networks and competitive intelligence. The individual concepts are explained and the area that the thesis deals with is determined. The second part of this work consists of the proposal of the web solution of Coffee Media. The first is the comparison of individual web site creation options, the key factors and creative requirements are determined, according to which the most suitable solution is then selected. With this solution, websites are subsequently designed and implemented. The third part deals with a detailed analysis of competition in the field of online marketing. Four competing companies are selected and their work with the Facebook social network is analysed. The analysis is carried out using both a customized method and a free specialized tool. Based on this analysis, individual trends in Facebook social networking are determined. The last part proposes detailed strategy for working with the Facebook social network. In this strategy, a publishing plan for contributions is designed and individual advertising campaigns are designed to promote Coffee Media.

The diploma thesis titled "The impact of quality of information on fulfilling the infor- mation needs of users of the "Aspekty náhradní výchovy (ANV.cz)" domain-specific portal" analyzes the information needs of web portal users and evaluates the quality of the in- formation contained therein using a variety of different methods. The thesis summarizes concepts of information of quality and information needs, describes the issues of measuring quality of information and elaborates on the motivation and possibilities of research on in- formation needs and increasing quality of information. The first part of the thesis defines the terms of information behavior, information need and quality of information. This chapter describes the aforementioned concepts, the possibilities of their research, measurement and evaluation and suggests the general relationship between quality of information and fulfil- ling information needs. This part also lists other possible methods of identifying information needs which were not used in the thesis. The second part describes the web portal ANV.cz, especially the circumstances of its creation and development, with an emphasis on its current state and the description of its technical solutions.
