This bachelor thesis is focused on globalization process and its influence on psyche of people from the former Soviet Union countries. The main object of this work is identification of influence of globalization and americanization in societies of the former Soviet Union countries and explanation of main aspects in this field. The theoretical chapter includes definition of globalization and describes basic problems, which cause changes in culture and human behavior. The practical chapter contains research, which is based on theoretical part of this work.
Globalization in Southeast Asia and its influence on behavior and attitudes

In this work I try to "solve" the concept of globalization. Familiarize ourselves with key actors in the globalization process and look at the two faces of globalization. The last chapter "Vietnam Today" closes the theoretical part. In practical chapter on the basis of surveys conducted electronic and paper questionnaires to investigate to what extent the problems outlined in the theoretical part reflected in modern humans. The main objective of this work is to examine and evaluate real ongoing globalization in Southeast Asia and its influence on behavior and attitudes of people living in this area, specifically involved in Vietnam.
Crisis and recessions in the context of globalization

In the first chapter, there will be described 4 different types of crisis. Second chapter will be focused on globalization in general and on development of globalization in last 150 years. Third chapter will be focused on integration of particular economies and markets (focusing international trade, capital flows, TNC and FDI). In the fourth chapter, there will be described 4 different crisis in the context of globalization (Great Depression in 30's, Oil Shocks in 70's and 80's, Asian financial crisis in 90's and Global Financial crisis 2007-?).

In my bachelor work I thought not only on the general information about the processes of globalization in the world, but also in the Russian Federation. Subsequently acquired by empirical information I wanted to find out whether people in Russia accept or reject these processes. The aim of this thesis is to analyze and understand the processes of globalization, their assumptions in relation to the historical development and explanation of the potential impact on the psyche of people in the Russian Federation due to the mentality of Russians and Russian culture specific.
Informatization, media and development of society

The aim of this thesis is to create a comprehensive view on questions of development and influence of media on society and related formation and processing of information. This thesis should also enable the reader easier understanding and orientation in this topic. For that reason the thesis is divided into four main parts. The first section describes what is information, and the relation among data, information and knowledge. The second part is devoted to development and influence of information and communication technologies. It describes ways which enabled and enable to deliver information to its recipient and also related changes brought by these technologies. In the next chapter there is desribed what influences our relations within the framework of single nations and how media help to their convergency and linking. And the last part of this thesis includes an analysis of possible use and misuse when affecting broad masses of people.
Managment in the global economy: opportunities and risks

The thesis start from general introduction to globalization but its focus is on the following areas: global buying of company inputs (sourcing), expanding on the foreign/global markets (output) and managing the risks associated with globalization (increased competition, foreign currency and raw material/inputs hedge). Overall the thesis is practical in its approach and thus it provides the real applicable approaches in terms of the management in the global economy. Despite these practicalities the thesis also aims at analyzing the more general business environment for global activities of a firm. This is realized in section on economic assessment of the market and evaluation of foreign currency fundamentals.
Marketing Strategy of a Chosen Product on The Example of DuPont

The bachelor thesis "Marketing Strategy of a Chosen Product on The Example of DuPont" is aimed at analyzing the marketing strategy and marketing mix of the Elvaloy material which is used in paving segment. The main applied methodology is called situation analysis through which the author compares individual key markets, reviews internal and external conditions of the company and studies the competition. The main objective of the thesis is also to present diminishing differences between industrial and consumer marketing and creation of new hybrid marketing concepts. As a main motive force of this step change is in this case considered globalization and its associated effects.

Main goal of this study is to objectively describe the ongoing economic globalization. First chapter describes main attributes and some of the factors which cause globalization. Study shows some of the latest statistics from World Bank. Big focus is devoted to some effects of globalization like decreasing poverty, raising inequality, emergence of worldwide capital markets, increased importance of multinational corporations, or how globalization positively affects economic growth. Study also describes uncertain future of globalization, which is caused by ongoing economic crisis. The focus of this study is put on the economic development in the BRICs (Brazil, Russia, India and China). These four countries are described as examples of the mentioned effects of globalization.
Evaluation of globalization processes' impact on social-economic development

The main aim of my work is to evaluate globalization processes' impact on sovereignty of the state and inferential negative effects in the social field. I consider this problem to be appealing, because it offers a place to discuss the topic of community responsibility and independent policy of state considering interests of society.
E-trading B2C in a global environment

This paper analyzes possibilities of a Czech customer in a global world of internet commerce and is oriented only to B2C trading. The first part is focused on explaining individual terms such as e-commerce, the types and forms of e-trading and the types of products that can be bought on the internet. In the second part it is defined what a customer has to know when he/she wants to buy something on the internet abroad. Then recommendations are introduced, as to what the customer should do to make his/her purchase profitable. In the last part these recommendations are presented on concrete examples.
