Preprocessing Methods in Knowledge Discovery
Pokorný, Lubomír ; Lukáš, Roman (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
This thesis discusses preprocessing methods in knowledge discovery. There are four methods of discretization, filling in the missing values and normalization is investigated. There is closer view on building the application which discretizate numeric atribute in database. All methods were successfully tested and the results were added.
Software for Biometric Recognition of a Human Eye Iris
Maruniak, Lukáš ; Orság, Filip (referee) ; Drahanský, Martin (advisor)
In my thesis, I focus on the task of recognizing human iris from an image. In the beginning, the work deals with a question of biometrics, its importance and basic concepts, which are necessary for use in following text. Subsequently process of human Iris detection is described together with theory of evolution algorithms. In the implementation part, is described the design of implemented solution, which uses evolution algorithms, where is emphasis on correct pupil and iris boundary detection.
PMSM Drive Sensorless Control
Graf, Miroslav ; Blaha, Petr (referee) ; Václavek, Pavel (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis "PMSM Drive Sensorless Control" concerns about stage reconstructors by PMSM drive control. It describes Model Reference Adaptive System and Kalman filter. Both stage reconstructor are practically implemented at microprocessor and using the method "target in the loop" the functionality of both reconstructors is verified.
Pattern Recognition in Temporal Data
Hovanec, Stanislav ; Hynčica, Ondřej (referee) ; Honzík, Petr (advisor)
This diploma work initially conduct research in the area of descriptions and analysis of time series. The thesis then proceed to introduce the problems of technical analysis of price charts as well as indicators, price patterns and method of Pure Price Action. The method Pure Price Action is demonstrated in this work in two practical examples of its application to real businesses with a view to discovering and analyzing price patterns, as well as analysis and prediction of future price and financial evolution. This analysis is an introduction to the processes of successful business, following on from this we discuss the theme of Pattern Recognition and the Instance Based Learning method. The practical aspect of this work is carried out with the aid of a MATLAB applied algorithm for the analysis of the price pattern Correction for sale and purchase in dynamic time segments, specifically in trading price graphs, like those used for commodities or stock trading. For the analysis of time series we use the Pure Price Action method. The Instance Based Learning method is used by the algorithm to recognize price patterns. The created algorithm is verified on real data of a 5 minute time series of the US Dow Jones price charts for the years 2006, 2007, 2008. The achieved accuracy is evaluated with the aid of Equity Curves.

In conclusion, there is a summary of the results, which were achieved in agriculture during the 60s of the 20th century and also evaluated successes and failures. Thesis will be based on resources that are processed in the National archive in Prague and contemporary literature.
Database design for project management
Nemčok, Viktor ; Palovská, Helena (advisor) ; Hodinka, Pavel (referee)
This thesis describes the design and implementation of database for project management, which is the basis for creating Web application. The main resources are the foundation of projects, assigning people to projects and their proper function, distribution of tasks, submission of documents and various statistics. The database is created using the tool MySQL Workbench, which is subsequently tested thus ensuring suitability and ease of implementation for the Web application.
