Analysis of tourism at the selected destination

The bachelor thesis is concerned with the tourism in the chosen region (Novopacko). The aims are to evaluate the strengths and the weaknesses, to define opportunities and threats and to make the SWOT analysis. The thesis contains the theoretical part, where the main terms related to destination marketing are explained, and the practical part, where the chosen indicators are analysed. The SWOT analysis is made and some changes are suggested in the last chapter, which may support the development of tourism in the region.
Destination management and marketing of the tourism in the town Tábor

The thesis analyzes the conditions, the current supply and demand for tourism services in the town and region Tábor. An integral part of the thesis consists also in the formulation of examples of a good practice to support the promotion and the turnout of the destination. The analytical part focuses on the analysis of internal and external environment, the SWOT analysis and the analysis of destination management. A new destination marketing of the town and region Tábor is recommended in the final part.
Design of a Destination Card for Toulava Region

The aim of this diploma thesis is to design a destination card for Toulava region. This region is located on the border of Central and South Bohemia. Theoretical part of the thesis is focused on theory of destination management and marketing. Destination cards are broadly speaking packages of tourism services, so the first part deals with this term a lot. Next chapter is focused on destination card principles and best practices in this field. The second part of the thesis occupies with an analysis of internal as well as external environment of the Toulava region. The last chapter deals with a design of the destination card itself and it is based on findings from previous chapters.
The Analysis of VisitBritain Marketing Activities

This diploma thesis deals with marketing activities of VisitBritain, the British national tourism board. Theoretical part discusses aspects of marketing in travel and tourism with emphasis on destination marketing. The second chapter contains economic indicators of British tourism industry and visitors' perceptions of this destination. The thesis continues with the analysis of Britain Marketing & 2012 Games Strategy 2010-2013 followed by the marketing programme 2011-2015. Since the strategy and programme stem from the great events that recently happened in Britain, this diploma thesis tests the hypothesis whether London Olympic Games 2012 have had a positive impact on British inbound tourism. The last chapter is dedicated to the results of survey which revealed whether young people had been motivated to visit Britain after London 2012 Olympic Games.
Creation of thematic product for the destination of South Bohemia

The diploma thesis aims at the creation of a new thematic product, namely for the destination of South Bohemia. The thesis is divided into two parts where the theoretical part defines terms related to the topic of the thesis first and deals with the destination marketing and the process of creating tourism destination product. In the practical part, there is, based on performed analyses, designed the product concept, the sense of which is wandering around places which South Bohemian folk songs are about. At the end, the benefits of the designed thematic product are predicted and its potential is evaluated.
Outbound tourism of young Czechs (18-34 years) to Germany

This final thesis deals with outgoing tourism of young Czechs to Germany. The theoretical part presents characteristics of tourism destination marketing and a definition of Youth Travel. The analytical part is concerned with the potential of Germany as a destination of young people from the Czech Republic and presents results of a conducted survey for the demand of young Czechs for destination Germany.
Effectiveness of marketing communication of the national tourist boards by example of ENIT

This Diploma Thesis looks into the promotion of Italy as a tourist destination for the tourism market in the Czech Republic. The aim of this Thesis is to find out how active and present the Italian tourist board is in the prospective Czech market. The theoretical section of the Thesis defines the term tourist destination and looks at destination management and its marketing. The analytical part of the Thesis focuses on the Italian tourist board (ENIT) and its comparison with the regional destination management company Trentino Marketing S.p.A.. The main bulk of the Thesis is actual research of the marketing activities of both parties, which is based on analysis of internally and publicly accessible information.
Marketing Study of Tourist Destination

The thesis is devoted to marketing study of the tourist destination Prague and its aim is to analyze and evaluate the potential of tourism development in Prague and its utilization in marketing of Prague as a tourist destination. It defines basic terms about destination marketing - marketing analysis, market segmentation, marketing strategy, marketing mix and implementation plan together with the control. The thesis includes analysis of primary and secondary offer of destination, identification of main competitors, the results of marketing research and presents the basic elements of marketing mix of destination Prague. Based on the findings, the final part of study contains proposals and recommendations for destination marketing and improvement of current situation.
Analysis of promotion of the Czech Republic as an attractive tourism destination

The bachelor's thesis deals with the promotion of the Czech Republic as a tourism destination and focuses on selected marketing activities of the Czech national tourism organization - CzechTourism. The first part of the thesis defines the destination marketing in general and clarifies activities of national tourism organizations. The second part defines the incoming tourism of the Czech Republic and introduces the potential of the destination Czech Republic, national tourism products and marketing tools of CzechTourism. The third part represents selected marketing activities of CzechTourism. The last part contains SWOT analysis of the Czech Republic promotion and proposals for future campaigns.
Meeting industry marketing analysis of the selected regions in the Czech Republic

The aim of this thesis is to evaluate marketing activities of the regions Prague, Karlovy Vary and South Moravia in the area of meeting industry and to suggest recommendations to increase their marketing effectiveness in this area. In the theoretical part, the concept of destination marketing is explained and the meeting industry is characterized. In the practical part, the prerequisites of the Czech Republic for meeting industry are assessed. Subsequently, the potential of each individual region is evaluated as well as their marketing and especially promotional activities. For the overall evaluation the SWOT analysis is used. Finally, by means of synthesis, the recommendations to improve marketing presentation of the Czech Republic and individual regions as convention destinations are formulated.
