Houšť, Marek ; Koutný, Jiří (referee) ; Čermák, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is about operations systems in mobile phones focusing on operation system Symbian. It describes proposal, implementation and testing of application for intelligent control of ringing profiles. Application is implemented in operation system Symbian. There is discussion about future development in the end.
Map editing application working with GPS module
Plch, Jan ; Kubánek, David (referee) ; Lattenberg, Ivo (advisor)
This thesis deals with theoretical design and practical realization of map editing application. The first chapter is focused on theoretical explanation of the most important terms in GPS describing basic principles and position monitoring possibilities. Further is described block scheme of GPS receiver. Next chapter describes NMEA 0183 protocol which is used for data transfer between GPS module and application. At the end of theoretical part is some information about geodetic system WGS-84 and files for trace recording. Application is creating in .NET Compact Framework in C# language. Application is able to load map in image format. Trace from specific file format can be displayed into map. Application can show currently recording trace too. Trace can be divided on segments according to type roads. Weak signal in record trace can be modified by correction methods. At the end of this thesis are instructions to using created application.
Quadcopter Camera Utilization for Scene Context Monitoring in Outdoor Environment
Běl, Petr ; Materna, Zdeněk (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with design and implementation of user interface for quadcopter control by mobile device. Most important design aspect is ability to scene monitoring by camera carried by quadcopter. Selected criterion was solved by control gestures drawn on device display, thus deletion of unnecessary graphical control elements. Comfort for scene monitoring is ensured by multiple  ight modes using same set of gestures. For purpose of connecting robot with mobile device in this work has been chosen platform Robot Operating System. Its transfer to mobile device was implemented by RosJava library for the selected operating system Android. Main contribution of this thesis is creation of mobile application which allows to pilot quadcopter and watch transmitted image from its camera not being disturbed by control elements. This advantage is most important for devices with smaller displays like smartphones.
Augmented Reality for Android Platform
Lžičař, Radek ; Zuzaňák, Jiří (referee) ; Láník, Aleš (advisor)
This thesis deals with Google Android platform, augmented reality and the ARToolKit library. An application demonstrating augmented reality for Google Android was designed and implemented in this thesis.
Heart rate and blood oxygen saturation estimation using smartphone
Jordánová, Ivana ; Smital, Lukáš (referee) ; Němcová, Andrea (advisor)
Heart rate, Oxygen saturation, HR, SpO2, MATLAB, smartphone, mobile phone, photopletysmogram, PPG
Small Company Mobile Security
Válka, Radek ; Novotný, Vít (referee) ; Ondrák, Viktor (advisor)
In the course of the work, an analysis of security issues with the use of mobile devices in a small company is created. Based on this analysis, are identified risks that could have an impact on the security of the company's information due to malicious code on the mobile device or unauthorized access to the mobile device. To eliminate or reduce these risks, are proposed safety measures inspired by the measures in the ČSN ISO/IEC 27002 standard, on which the bachelor's thesis is focused.
Development of Application for Electronic Records of Sales
Šťáva, Jan ; Štepník, Štefan (referee) ; Dydowicz, Petr (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused on the design and development of applications for mobile devices with Android operating system. The main purpose of this application is to fulfil the requirements of law on the Electronic Records of Sales. The thesis describes the theoretical knowledge which is important in the development of the application and describes the design and the whole implementation of the application. The application is implemented in the Java programming language. The thesis also deals with the description of the problem of electronic records of sales and the analysis of the EET product range.
VR Headset Assistance for Keyboard Playing
Chomo, Michal ; Polok, Lukáš (referee) ; Šolony, Marek (advisor)
This thesis presents a design and implementation of an application for a smartphone with Android operating system, which processes image recorded with phone camera, detects keyboard in it and then displays real image from camera on phone screen with chords or scales added directly on keyboards. Phone display is split in two, so there is individual image for each eye and the phone is inserted in the Google Cardboard headset. Application is implemented in Java and using Native Development Kit also in C++, for image processing, OpenCV library is used.
Symbian S60
Pokorný, Jan ; Weiss, Petr (referee) ; Chmelař, Petr (advisor)
Symbian OS with its additions (consisting of a user interface and an application suite) forms a software base for so-called smartphones. S60 platform that is the aim of this thesis is one such example. Although a significant part is dedicated to a theoretical overview covering Symbian and S60, the main goal is to develop a sample application. It enables customizable notifications for incoming short text messages (SMS) according to various criteria. It has been implemented in (Symbian-specific) C++ with the use of C++ orientated development environment (IDE) Carbide.c++ 2.0 and standard development kit (SDK) for S60 3rd Edition (initial release and Feature Pack 1). This application serves as an example to demonstrate some characteristics of the development for this platform as well as the means of an access to the relevant sorts of data and performing the relevant operations.
