Object detection
Vítek, Pavel ; Kratochvíla, Lukáš (referee) ; Richter, Miloslav (advisor)
This paper deals with object detection where a human figure is used as a model. The introductory chapter defines terms detection and object. The second chapter describes the basic theory of computer vision , such as image processing and its parts. A substantial part is also focused on the Canny edge detection, upper body detection and pose detection. The third chapter describes the MATLAB integrated development environment in which the image processing functions are implemented. The last chapter is a practical demonstration of object detection. Different upper body detection methods are compared there. In the last subsection, two methods of determining the deviations based on the template are compared. Finally, all methods are compared with respect to the obtained results.
Spica/ Brno, Nove sady 49°11'20.3"N 16°36'29.4"E
Csanda, Denis ; Kisová, Barbora (referee) ; Nový, Vítězslav (advisor)
Design „micro-urbanism“ in designated area. Aim of this work is to find suitable development strategy of open city block. Bachelor‘s thesis adresses design of poly-functional building, including town hall and housing in city Brno. The main theme is to find maximal, yet optimal solution to site, which functions as parking space. The design tries to complete corner of designated city block, which will be part of future „south“ neighbourhood. The townhall and housing should function in harmony, which means the building will „live“ all-day long. The site is located in the node of historic centre and new planned neighbourhood. Between the site and neighbouring building will be parking garage tucked under the ground. Also there will be multifunction hall undergound center of the site. Design of the volume is complex and consists of pedestal and 3 towers. These towers volumes pixelate into the pedestal and open into the courtyard. Facade consists od unite form, which disolves and open in the upper levels.
User interface for adaptive RCL modules
Novitchi, Dumitru ; Frýza, Tomáš (referee) ; Kubíček, Michal (advisor)
The purpose of this thesis is to create an simple graphic library in the programming C language, through which it will be possible to draw and simulate the basic functions of a car backlight, and subseguently to create the graphic user interface.v The first part of the thesis is based on the study of the given issue, briefly it describes the differences between raster and vector graphics, most used formats, describes diverse color models and the area of their use, ,basic graphic adapters, video memorry and its control in the operating system Linux. In the second part there is stated the practical realization of the basic graphic algorithms needed for drawing the algorithm primitives. An mathematical aparatus described in detail and well-founded with formulas. Also there are the advantages and disatvantages of each used algorithm and their realization in the programming C language. The 3rd and the last part of the thesis is dedicated to the creation of the graphic user interface in the FreePascal programming language and further to the describtion of his main elements.
Simulator of Physical Model
Šváb, Štěpán ; Richter, Miloslav (referee) ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is basic methods of rendering the scene. By creating a simulation model in C# using the bullet phyzic that defines the world of physics. Creating an parser of X3D format and how its data will fill the world of physics.
The Students themselves - Student Center Poříčí
Turčan, Andrej ; Poslušná, Iva (referee) ; Jura, Pavel (advisor)
In my bachelor thesis I design the new student center situated on the bank of the river Svratka in the city of Brno. Main concept is based on mutual communication and common activities of the students. The body of project becomes diagonal stair hall, which connects all social areas and creates different platforms for various student activities.
Nonlinearity in the course of acqusition date in optical coherence tomography
Kadla, Jan ; Kolář, Radim (referee) ; Kuna, Zdeněk (advisor)
This bachelor thesis builds on my semestral work, thus provides a description of the problem of optical coherence tomography imaging system in terms of a brief historical development, structural parts and modifications. Previous work is supplemented by a more detailed description of data acquisition and especially signal processing. I present examples of the clinical and research application of this technology, and try to objectively refer to its advantages and disadvantages. Chapter dedicated to the description of a practical measurement explains selected data collection procedure and clarifies their following processing. At the end of the work are summarized the results achieved, including the considerations of potential errors during the measurement.
Multimedia Browser for Lectures
Kubalík, Jakub ; Potúček, Igor (referee) ; Schwarz, Petr (advisor)
In preamble reader will understand the purpose of this project and why it was initiated. It's large team project, so description of its structure represents main part of this report. A core of the browser contain a lot of techniques, e.g. system of components, special internal communication and other. The main goals of this system are portability and reusability - there is exact specification of syntax rules and used data formats. Non-interchangeable role in project has format XML. Invention of new components was the last intervention in project, with intention to use of the project in future and involve in complex search engine - the engine discuss final part of report.
Graphics Intro 64kB Using Ray Tracing
Dočkal, Jiří ; Chudý, Peter (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This thesis is concerned with the description of the aplication which was determined by the assignment of the bachelor thesis. The main focus are the problems and principles connected with the topic of the thesis. Further on, the thesis describes the actual realization of the aplication and the achieved results. The conclusion covers the evaluation of thesis and possible ways for further improvement of the project.
Performance Evaluation of Graphics Accelerator
Dvořák, Milan ; Šolony, Marek (referee) ; Jošth, Radovan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with a performance evaluation of graphics accelerators. Properties of the current graphics accelerators and existing solutions for evaluating their performance are summarized. An own methodology for performance evaluation is proposed and the implementation of an OpenGL aplication with GLUT and GLEW libraries is described. In the last part, several graphic cards are tested, the influence of various factors is examined, and the measured results are discussed.
Vertex and Pixel Shaders for 3D Visualization of grass
Dokoupil, Martin ; Chudý, Peter (referee) ; Kršek, Přemysl (advisor)
This thesis describes the way to create three-dimensional visualization of grass in computer graphic. Contains progress of grass visualization from past to present. Contains shader intro and its use for visualization. Text mention scene graph which has been used for implementation. Text describes three levels of detail and implemetation of waving grass. Text compares frame speed for each level of grass and frame speed for complete visualized grass.
