Thesis on the topic of "Design of a marketing strategy for a selected company" deals with the clarification of concepts related to the current strategy and the basic concepts of marketing. The aim of the thesis is to propose a new marketing strategy, which will be based on the analysis of existing company strategies and from the questionnaire part. The work is divided into several parts. The first part is based on the theoretical background, the second part is focused on introducing the selected company, analyzes on the external and internal environment of the company and the third part deals with the proposals of the marketing strategy for higher profits or gaining new customers.

The first part explains the theoretical background necessary for a proper understanding of the issue, which is devoted to the following analytical part dealing with a particular company, its environment, marketing research and planning with a strong focus on its marketing mix, which summarizes SWOT analysis at the end. The design part contains several own separate proposals for the company, based on the analysis results with their potential benefits.

This master´s thesis focuses on a proposal marketing plan for event Slovácké beachové léto. The thesis is divided into three main parts. Theoretical part describes marketing terms, which are based on other parts in this thesis. Analytical part characterizes event Slovácké beachové léto, describes current marketing and communication mix. Analytical part describes also analysis of general and business environment, SWOT analysis and marketing research. Based on results of analytical part there is developed proposal part which includes some solutions for an improvement of marketing and other new ideas for a better process of Slovacké beachové léto. These proposals are described in detail and planned based on time schedule.

Throughout the bachelor thesis I followed the theoretical foundations that are mentioned in the theoretical part. Then I analyze the marketing mix, marketing environment and management of construction company Duostav KB Ltd. Based on the outputs of the analysis of the current situation, proposals are made to improve the marketing mix.
