Power Converter for DC Welding
Vranák, Daniel ; Červinka, Dalibor (referee) ; Patočka, Miroslav (advisor)
The masters thesis was focused on design and realization power converter which should worked as welding machine. It was necessary choose suitable type converter. Next, it was needs design of pulsed transformer, output filter choke and design of semiconductors which were in power part welding machine. It was also designed control and driver circuits. This parts which were used on construct the converter were made and tested too.
Analysis of Selected Distractive Stimuli on the Driver Attention
Bucsuházy, Kateřina ; Rybka, Jindřich (referee) ; Mičunek,, Tomáš (referee) ; Semela, Marek (advisor)
The dissertation thesis focuses on the problem of driver inattention as one of the main factors contributing to the traffic accidents occurrence. The importance of this topic has been introduce on the basis of the literature review. The theoretical analysis includes terminology in the field of accident analysis related to the topic of this dissertation thesis. Existing methods for driver behavior analysis have been introduced as well as the selected resuls of existing research studies focused on the driver inattention. Research gaps have been identified on the basis of the research review, on some of them has been focused this work. The defined problem situation points to the need to find and verify the relevant modern methods for analysis of driver inattention, respectivaly influence of selected distracting stimuli on the stages of driver information processing. The series of measurements also provides quantified data, especially with regard to the perception duration of selected distracting stimuli.
Creation of network drivers for the Windows family of operating systems
Krkoš, Radko ; Hošek, Jiří (referee) ; Růčka, Lukáš (advisor)
This thesis describes the approach in designing and implementing a driver marking network traffic for quality of service provision. In the beginning distinct technologies usable for the driver development are discussed and compared to each other while the most suiting candidate is chosen for driver development. Next the thesis discusses the design of the driver according to specification and depicts a list of more specific requirements affecting the driver design itself. The focus point in design is the least possible impact on network traffic performance and the running system itself. In addition to the driver an application programming interface usable from user mode is designed and so the system as a whole ensures the marking of network traffic entirely. In the end the created driver architecture is described and the application programming interface is described in terms of use.
GPS for Teaching HW/SW Platform
Pajgrt, Ondřej ; Bidlo, Michal (referee) ; Fučík, Otto (advisor)
The work deals with a connection between HW/SW platform FITkit and GPS device. Introduces GPS systems from theoretical and practical view desribes FITkit teaching platform and its common use and shows in detail the connection of those two systems into a cooperative unit. Work also analyses communication interfaces and protocols used for that connection. Finally it provides a description of tho whole system data flow from the very beginning in GPS unit to the final displaying on the screen and description of implementation and application usage.
Transparent Encryption Solution for Endpoint Devices
Linux-Based Drivers for Embedded Systems
Kopáček, Jaroslav ; Strnadel, Josef (referee) ; Dobai, Roland (advisor)
Issues of design and writing device drivers is wide-ranging and therefore in this thesis we focus on the design of drivers for devices with field-programmable gate array (FPGA). Compared to the application-specific integrated circuit processors, where functionality is immutable, it is necessary for each new FPGA configuration to write a new driver for the required behavior. This thesis deals with the analysis of requirements and possible solutions of designing and implementation of device drivers for embedded systems based on OS Linux and the possibility of development automation. This thesis includes the design and implementation a driver generator which can generate Linux-based drivers for embedded systems. The driver generator is modular so the final driver can contain only the required functionality and no unnecessary functionality. Designed driver generator has been tested on the task of controlling light-emitting diodes which are used for diagnostics of the embedded system.
T-Mobile MDA II in Linux
Michl, Zbyněk ; Michal, Bohumil (referee) ; Kašpárek, Tomáš (advisor)
MSc. thesis deals with mobile digital assistant T-Mobile MDA II running Linux operating system. The first part presents device identification and parameters' specification of the MDA II. The second part focuses on selection of GNU distribution with Linux bootloader and Linux kernel support comparison. The subject of the last part is MDA II component code implementation and its merging into Linux kernel.
Writing Device Drivers Under Linux and Windows
Sznapka, Jakub ; Bidlo, Michal (referee) ; Strnadel, Josef (advisor)
This thesis is focused on design and implementation of USB driver and key of HID class for microcontrollers MC9S08JM60. It describes theoretical part necessary for design, as well as implementation with shown lines of code and pictures. Outputs of test programs are also included.
Current source for measuring purposes
Chevalier, Stanislav ; Vorel, Pavel (referee) ; Patočka, Miroslav (advisor)
Goal of this semestral thesis is to design power converter which is to be used for measurement. The converter consists of two forward converters in push-pull topology. The converter is to behave as a constant current source with maximum open-circuit voltage of 1000V. Maximum current is 5A. The current range is split into three sub-ranges, to meet the strict requirements on ripple current. The range of currents is 0-5A. The operating frequency of converter is 34KHz. The converter will be charged using two portable electric generators with output voltage 230V.
Driver perception in different conditions
Seriš, Jozef ; Belák, Michal (referee) ; Bucsuházy, Kateřina (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused on the comparison of perception of traffic signs and advertising areas in two different conditions day and night with focus on visual distraction of the driver. The introductory part deals with the analysis of the current state of the elements acting on the driver with an emphasis on mental processes and the senses of drivers affecting traffic safety. The analytical part draws on the videos from driving tests, the whose goals was to monitor the optical reactions of drivers. The resulting data were evaluated with goal to determine the time consuming views of the drivers on individual elements and the compared in different conditions. The last chapter includes the interpretation of the results of the analysis with suggestion of their use to increase traffic safety.
