The analysis of unemployment in Pardubice region during years 2005–2014

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of unemployment and its analysis in Pardubice region during years 2005-2014. The highest unemployment rate is identified in Svitavy district and on the contrary the lowest in Pardubice district. This thesis also evaluates the active labour market policy and the utilization rate of this policy while the most exploited instrument in this region is retraining. The labour state policy is largely funded by the European Social Fund which projects is paid attention to in the thesis. A questionnaire answered by employers from Pardubice region, who were a part of one or more grant programs in the past, was made for better rating of finances from this fund.

Analysis of unemployment in the Ústí nad Orlicí district in 2009 - 2015

The bachelor thesis is focused on the analysis of unemployment in the district of Ústí nad Orlicí during 2009 - 2015. The thesis deals with of the evolution of unemployment. The next part is focused on issues of microregions. It also describes structure unemployment for example duration of unemployment or educational structure. The thesis includes survey research which monitors the situation on the labour market through eyes of the employers in the district of Ústí nad Orlicí. The thesis evaluates that the most prone microregions of unemployment are Česká Třebová and Králíky where currently live the biggest group of long-term unemployed people and people with primary education. Although unemployment rates fell to 4,9 percent, survey research shows that employers have problem with recruiting new people.

University Graduates' Unemployment in the Czech Republic

The topic of this Bachelor's Thesis which is divided into a theoretic and practical part, is the unemployment of university graduates and their success in the labour market. There is described the process of the labour market, unemployment and its types, unemployment policy in the first part. There are outlined functions and methods of state administration bodies from which the data are drawn and used in the second part. There is performed an analysis in the practical part. The analysis is of number of students and university graduates and then their unemployment in the labour market within the purview of the whole Czech Republic and Prague. There is evaluated the solving questionnaire at the conclusion, oriented on university graduates from the capital Prague, there is also the evaluation of the whole unemployment analysis and the proposal of possible goals for improving the situation in the labour market.

Analysis of unemployment in the Hradec Králové region between 2005–2013

The bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of unemployment in Hradec Kralove region during years 2005 - 2013. It focuses on the development of the level of registered unemployment and discusses the supply and demand side of the regional labor market. The supply side is characterized by gender, age, education and duration of unemployment of job applicants. The analysis of the demand side is focused on the development of unemployment in various sectors and industries of the national economy. Then the thesis assesses some of the tools of active labor market policy, especially regional individual projects. Registered unemployment rate in the Hradec Kralove region oscillates in a relatively favorable terms, however, as a result of the economic crisis has worsened the situation. Based on the analysis, it was found that the most prone county to high rates of unemployment is Trutnov and the most prone group of citizens to unemployment are the long-term unemployed people. I also came to conclusion that selected active labour market policy has a positive influence on the labour market in that region. The final recommendations of this thesis is to focus on the Trutnov county and the most prone groups of citizens to unemployment in a more proper way.
