Analýza učebních úloh k maturitní zkoušce pro vybrané tematické okruhy učiva chemie

This thesis deals with the analysis of problem-solving exercises of selected chemistry syllabus topics for the GCSE exam. The theoretical part starts with a brief description of the conceptual evolution of the chemistry GCSE exam. Furthermore, the subject of chemistry in the Framework Education Programme (FEP) for secondary schools (gymnasium type) is characterized, and a list of the most common types of chemistry problems in the admissions exams for universities is presented. In the practical part, the authors compare the relation of chemistry GCSE topics at selected gymnasium schools with the learning objectives and syllabus defined by FEP. The partial aim is to analyze the preparatory problem-solving exercises for university admission exams and for chemistry GCSE exams in terms of a structure and prevailing typology of learning tasks. The authors have created a set of more complex exercises that emphasizes an interconnection of selected topics from organic and general chemistry. This outcome represents a potential contribution to the educational practice.
Selected aspects of the state graduation exam through the perspective of Prague's grammar school students

The theme of this diploma thesis is selected aspects of the state graduation exam through the perspective of Prague's grammar schools students. The aim of this work is to map current situation regarding the state graduation exam with the emphasis on the selected aspects of this exam. These aspects will be seen primarily in terms of the former as well as current students of Prague grammar schools. In the beginning of theoretical part is outlined the development of graduation exams followed by the theme of the state graduation exams, which were launched in 2011 and since then are continuously modified. The theoretical part was inspired by professional literature but also by Internet resources and academic works written on a similar theme. At the end of this part there are also mentioned selected media feedbacks on the topic of state graduation exam. The second empirical part was developed on the research which took place at selected Prague grammar schools. This research was conducted through a questionnaire survey. The aim of the research was to analyze selected aspects of the state graduation exam at source - to see the state graduation exam through students and also teacher's perspective. Teachers were an additional group of respondents in the research.
Problematic Types of Tasks in the Listening Comprehension Part of the Didactic Test of the State Secondary School-leaving Examination in French Language

The topic of this thesis are problematic types of test items in the listening sub test of the didactic test of common part of Maturita school - leaving exam in French language. Introductory chapter of the theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the description of Maturita school-leaving exam, its origin and contemporary model. The following chapters deal with characteristics of the didactic test, its parts and individual test items. These chapters also provide a description of the examined sample, concise characteristics of grammar schools (Gymnasiums) where the research was conducted, and introduces the analytical tools which were used when examining the listening subtest in French language. On the basis of students' answers the most difficult test items of the sub test were pinpointed. Transformation model of the school-leaving exams in the Czech republic

The subject of this thesis are the models of the school-leaving exams changing over time due to the educational policy of the state and sometimes tumultuous political developments. The theoretical part contains historical analysis of the graduation exam and its models, creating the basis for the empirical part. Based on the study of legislation and rules governing conditions and holding the graduation exams and further study of the relevant literature, on a precise description of the current model and indicating the current efforts to modify the existing model of the graduation exam the vivid picture of this phenomenon in the whole range of educational issues is created. The attention is also paid to the issue of holding the graduation exam. The leaving examination since its inception in our country in 1849 has been defined by the law, its implementation has been modified the closer decrees. It has always been a significant "politicians", not only purely "educational theme." This diploma thesis deals with speaking skills and their development for the purposes of the Maturita exam. It is divided into 6 chapters. The theoretical part deals with speaking as a skill, basic definitions of the Maturita exam and, more specifically, it gives a detailed overview and comparison of the Maturita oral performance and interactive skills at both levels. The practical part covers the analysis of three sets of books that are used during the English lessons in secondary education. Evaluation of school leaving exam in foreign languages regarding the needs of students with learning disabilities

The bachelor's thesis deals with essential knowledge concerning learning disabilities, focusing mainly on reading disorder and disorder of written expression. It covers information about history and contemporary form of school leaving exam, including its modification for students with special needs. The thesis deals in detail with issues connected with maturita exam in foreign languages taken by the students with specific learning disabilities. A questionnaire was used as an exploratory method in the practical part. The questionnaire was intended for teachers of grammar schools, vocational schools and training institutions, who are certified evaluators of writing and speaking with the update for evaluation of SPU-O category. Most of the teachers think that the needs of students with learning disabilities are respected in school leaving exam. However, many of them were not able to review the objectivity of rating. It is necessary to raise awareness of specific learning disabilities not only among general public but also among educators. Education through the Geography in Curricular Reformation Period of Czech Education System: Reflection of the Changes at Selected Prague's Grammar Schools

The thesis, as the title suggests, focuses on education of Geography and analysis of Geography as a subject at Prague grammar schools. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the impact of curricular changes on teaching Geography. Furthermore, the thesis is to analyze the ideas of the Geography teachers on teaching methods and content taught to students in their lessons. The work also evaluates the variety of opinions of the pedagogues concerning this topic. It also discusses their different views on a new form of the state leaving exam. Moreover, it looks for the answer whether the new exam might change the methodology of Geography. This work is mainly based on a critical evaluation of expert materials as far as the school reform is concerned. The empirical part itself consists of the survey results and the assessment of directed interviews with 11 respondents, who are the Geography teachers at nine Prague grammar schools.

The thesis, as the title suggests, is devoted to education in Geography. More specifically, the work analyzes teaching Geography at Prague grammar schools. The work objective is to assess the effects of the ongoing curriculum amendments on teaching Geography and to assess, analyze and review: a) The differences in the approach towards education in Geography at individual Prague high schools. b) The ideas of Geography teachers themselves on how much time should be devoted to particular geographical topics or topics otherwise related to Geography. Next, the work assesses the homogeneity of opinions in this respect. It also studies the homogeneity of particular Geography theme plans at individual schools also with respect to the planned change in school leaving exams. The work is based on a critical assessment of expert materials concerning the school reform. The empirical part itself is grounded in survey results and the assessment of directed interviews with 11 respondents, who are Geography teachers at 9 Prague grammar schools.
Analysis of the system of secondary education in the Czech Republic, the possibility of its termination and comparison with systems in Slovakia, Poland and selected federal states of Germany and Austria

This thesis deals with one of the most discussed topics in recent years in the field of education. The theme will focus on the concept of state graduation exams in the Czech Republic and its comparison with the systems of Slovakia, Poland, Bavaria and Austria. This comparison is made in the work of analysis the educational systems of these countries according to uniform characteristics. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is divided into three main chapters that are thematically intertwined. The first chapter explains the theoretical foundations of education and the basic concepts and stresses the importance of education to society. The second chapter then provides an overview of the educational system of the Czech Republic, describes the basic principles of legislative and institutional training and education system is characterized by a focus on secondary education and its termination in the form of state graduation exams. The third chapter is devoted to the description of educational systems in selected countries according to the same characteristics used in the second chapter. The empirical part of the thesis is presented in the last chapter of the thesis, which compares and evaluates the different educational systems in selected countries with the Czech Republic and compares the methods of completion of secondary education graduation. This chapter also focuses on the problematic issues surrounding the state graduation exams at home and abroad, and compares the pros and cons of these tests ibid. The result of this chapter are suggestions on state graduation exams.
