Construction of a multipurpose building

This Bachelor thesis deals with a technology of the rough upper construction of a fire station. The project of the machine set, the inspecting and testing plan, BOZP, the budget and the timetable are added to technological methods. I also worked out the technical report of the building sites facilities including drawings needed. The construction-technological solution of the supplemental thermal insulation of the fire station within the technological regulation, the heat technical assessment, the proposed location of the fasteners, the draft of final processing with respect of HBW index are also elaborated in this thesis. Variant solutions and the assessing of the suitability for using pipe and mobile scaffolding are incorporated as well.

Implementation of warehouses in Brno Podoli, alternative solutions envelope

This bachelor thesis deals with the variant solution envelope warehouse and office building in Brno Podolí. The first variant is designed as a skeletal structure with masonry infill made of aerated concrete blocks Ytong with external thermal insulation composite system. Also there are dealt with internal plaster and filling holes. The first variant includes technical report, technological specifications, the situation of building with wider relationships routes, bills of quantities, itemized budget, principles of organization of construction, technical report for site equipment, time schedule, design mechanical assembly, inspection and test plans, safety and health work, assessment of thermal cladding, drawing of site preparation and drawing details. The second variant is also designed as a skeleton construction, but as sheathing circuit will be used for facade sandwich Kingspan panels. Part of the second variant are the technological specifications, bill of quantities, itemized budget proposal mechanical assemblies, time schedule, drawing of the site preparation. Both variants will be compared in terms of time, financial, technology, machine designs and building equipment.

Teaching Mathematics using the CLIL method

The thesis deals with preparation of teaching materials for teaching mathematics using the CLIL method. The chosen topic is statistics at lower secondary level. The thesis is divided into several chapters, first three chapters are more theoretically oriented and the last four chapters deal with the actual preparation and use of teaching materials for the chosen topic. The theoretical part of this theses introduces the CLIL method and several difficulties when using it, as well as suggestions for overcoming them successfully. Next, reasons for the choice of a particular topic in mathematics are given and the choice of English as the secondary language that is taught is justified. Lastly, teaching targets are set in accordance with the basic principles of this method both in mathematics and English as a second language. The specifics of the topic in question are carefully chosen while observing the current curriculum. The practical part of this theses focuses in detail on piloting the use of typically CLIL activities. The conclusions drawn from this first experiment are then used when preparing the actual materials for teaching statistics. Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) in Engineering Courses at Brno University of Technology

Cílem této bakalářské práce je vymezit koncepci integrované výuky předmětu a cizího jazyka (CLIL) a analyzovat některé faktory, které ovlivňují úspěšnou implementaci CLIL v odborných předmětech na Vysokém učení technickém v Brně. Teoretická část práce diskutuje výhody CLILu, vysvětluje model Coyleové, Hooda a Marshe a popisuje využití různých pedagogických modelů a strategií při integraci této metody do kurikula. Zároveň také předkládá přehled vybraných výzkumných studií zaměřených na využití CLILu, který ukazuje, že CLIL má na univerzitách významný vliv na výuku odborných předmětů prostřednictvím cizího jazyka. Praktická část práce se zabývá výzkumem zaměřeným na aktuální situaci CLILu v odborných předmětech studijního programu Angličtina v elektrotechnice a informatice na Vysokém učení technickém v Brně. Závěrem práce diskutuje výzkumná zjištění vyplývající z dotazníkového šetření mezi učiteli a studenty a navrhuje, jakým způsobem výuku prostřednictvím CLILu zdokonalit.

Teacherś support of the unsuccessful primary school pupils

The diploma thesis deals with the role of the teacher in the education of unsuccessful schoolchildren at the 1st stage of primary school. The theoretical part deals with various concepts of school failure. The first chapter defines the concept of school success and failure. The second chapter deals with the various reasons for school failure, which the teacher must determine in order to effectively support the pupil. The third chapter focuses on the behavior of pupils with SEN, which can often be dangerous and the teacher must know how to behave in such situations. The fourth chapter deals with how a pupil with SEN is admitted to a regular class. Above all, however, the thesis focuses on the procedures used by the teacher, which help the child in learning and overcoming obstacles that make his learning more difficult, including subjectively perceived failure. We will find this information in the fifth chapter. The next chapters focus on the teaching assistant and the school, which are of cordinal importance in supporting the student. The aim of the empirical part is to find out how teachers at the 1st stage of primary school give unsuccessful pupils support, and what effective procedures (strategies) they use. Individualized Czech language teaching methods by MGML

The diploma thesis titled Individualized Czech language teaching methods by MGML represents MultiGradeMultiLevel didactic system, which was developed based on the training needs of poor rural people in Rishi Valley, in India. It is a highly structured system, which uses the heterogeneity of students in class. It is realized in perfectly prepared learning environment and with activities based on the principles of constructivism. The main principles correspond to the theory of Russian psychologist Lev Vygotsky called Zone of proximal development. The aim of the study is to realize and reflect the teaching of Czech language using the MGML-Methodology and thus use action research to verify the possibility of applying the method in the Czech school environment. The teaching took place in the program Step by Step, because its principles are closest with the MGML-Methodology approach. We conclude that the method can be used as an enriching element in teaching at Czech primary school.

Realization of Construction of Firehouse in Ždírec nad Doubravou

The master´s thesis describes the realization of new building of fire station in Ždírec nad Doubravou. The parts of the thesis are time and financial plan for all building objects, assessment of transport routes, design of site equipment and design of main machines. An itimized budget with a bill of quantities and a detailed construction schedule are prepared for the main building. A technological regulativ and quality control plan are prepared for the stage of industrial steelconcrete floor. In the end of the work, there is solved the noise study of construction and the topic of system infiltration tanks.
