Valentová, Michaela ; Moree, Dana (advisor) ; Košák Felcmanová, Alena (referee)
Purpose at work. Motivations of Workers of Selected Low-threshold Facilities for Children and Youth Bc. Michaela Valentová Abstract Diploma thesis focuses on the experience of purposefulness of employees of low- threshold facilities for children and youth. In theoretical part low-threshold facilities are firstly conceptualized as a part of Czech organized civil society. Secondly, relevant theories of purpose are introduced. In empirical part, qualitative research is conducted by in-depth interviews with nine employees of two typical civil society organizations. Workers of low-threshold facilities for children and youth construct their purpose around four categories: helping clients, professionality, work ethics and self-development. Each of these categories brings specific consequences for their organizations. The theory expects purpose to be inspirational for others, however research participants do not reflect on the possibility to inspire their clients that way. This work suggests it is caused by workers' strong emphasis on professionality which creates borders in relationships between clients and workers and also limits the possibility to inspire one another with purpose. Keywords low-threshold facility for children and youth, civil society organization, CSO, non-profit organization, mission, meaning of...

Most of them (26 species from 12 genera) are included in Appendix I of CITES, only three species (Cyprogenia aberti, Pleurobema clava and Epioblasma torulosa rangiana) are listed in Annex II. They are mainly US endemic, or USA and Canada. Most of them occur only in one or two rivers, often only in a certain section of the river. These species are host specific. Some of them are bound to only one genus or species of fish. From a trading point of view, Unionidae were traded in the following forms: shells, carved shells, derivatives, live individuals and specimens. The species Dromus dromas, Pleurobema clava, Cyprogenia aberti and Conradilla caelata were traded the most. The most common was the trade in the shells of individuals whose origin dates from before the inclusion of the species Unionidae to CITES for commercial purposes. These individuals were mostly of an unknown provenance and if the country of origin was stated, it was United States of America. Meanings of art creation in artists' lives
Botková, Mariana ; Chrz, Vladimír (advisor) ; Mudrák, Jiří (referee)
This thesis is questioning the meanings of artistic creation. It is divided into two parts - theoretical and empirical. The first part introduces the topic through seven fundamental psychological approaches. The second part tracks the question of the meanings of artistic creation using qualitative half-structured interviews with three painters. During the interview analysis and interpretation, additional text and image documents are included as supplementary sources. Subjectively important topics that are linked to individual's artistic creation formed their so-called internal story of creation as the first output of analysis and data interpretation. Moreover, all three stories are compared with psychological approaches within the model of De Botton and Armstrong (2014), extended by a mutual comparison among artists and unification of various psychological approaches. Key words: creation, meaning, art, purpose, value
