Touch voltages and earth surface potentials of selected earthing systems designs
Novodomec, Radim ; Topolánek, David (referee) ; Vyčítal, Václav (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor’s thesis was to investigate the influence of the shape, size, placement of earthing systems designes as well as the influence of the soil model on the size of the resulting potential and touch voltage during the passage of ground current. For the construction and subsuquent simulation of these phenomena, the Ansys Maxwell Desktop program was used, which is suitable for using the finite element method, as the use of analytical methods is demanding. The results were further processed in Excel into graphs. The resulting touch voltage was determined as the difference between the maximum potential of the earthing system and the potential at distance of 1 meter.
The Scar
Sláma, Matěj ; Nytra, Martin (referee) ; Mazanec, Martin (advisor)
Diploma thesis Scar is a short film about the fictional history of the found „monument“. In the animated film, I examine the context and meaning of the „monument“ in a virtual environment that I created based on visual documentation and mapping of specific places that I explored during my expeditions through the urban landscape of Brno and The Hague. These are mainly „lost“ spaces (also referred to as vague terrain or no man's land), which inspired me to create my own visual map of my urban explorations. The starting point of the work is personal lived experience, which I reflect by documenting places, creating 3D objects and manipulating 3D scans of „lost“ spaces with elements of computer games. In the resulting film, the viewer follows a guide–walk through a virtual environment where objective reality is intentionally blended with a fictional world built on the author's imagination.
Potential of Small School
Vomlelová, Jitka ; Voda, Jan (advisor) ; Uhlířová, Jana (referee)
The dissertation Potential of Small Scholl deals with specific features of this kind of schools. The paper presents the role of small schools in the school system, mutual interaction at schools, distinctive forms of organization and methodical approaches aiming at defining particularities of this kind of school. We have drawn a comparison of a small school and an ordinary primary school based on two case studies. Differences which have been found out can define potential of both types of schools. The results of the research have brought us recognition that the potential of a small school is conditioned by its size and low numbers of pupils in classrooms. These conditions enable creating such learning environment that provides a pupil with specific performance of school attendance. Other significant aspects are mutual cooperation among pupils themselves as well as among teachers and parents within a small social group or implementation of schooling in mixed age groups which leads particularly to respect and acceptance of otherness and of pupils with specific educational needs. KEY WORDS small school, mixes aged education, cooperation, school environment, potential
Potential of renewable resource utilzation in the Republic of Moldova
Granici, Olga ; Braniš, Martin (advisor) ; Přibil, Rudolf (referee)
With growing energy consumption the sector with renewable resources is increasing and becoming interesting for countries all around the world. Use of renewable sources of energy around the world recorded an increasing trend. Currently Moldova do not use hardly any of the renewable technologies. The potential for using alternative energy sources in the country is relatively high. The task of the thesis is to find potential applications of renewable energy sources on the territory of Moldova. Installation of renewable energy technologies considered in the work on the basis of geographic or climatic conditions of the state. One of the main motives of involving a broad spectrum of renewable energy in Moldova could be an attempt to reduce energy dependence on neighboring countries and increase own share of energy production. The thesis is based on the knowledge of the application of renewable energy in the rest of the world.

Development potential of tourism in a selected peripheral area
Hanuš, Pavel ; Fialová, Dana (advisor) ; Kopp, Jan (referee)
This master thesis examines the possibilities of tourism development in selected peripheral area. Specifically, it includes areas of Kralovicko, Manětínsko, Žluticko, Jesenicko and Podbořansko. It is an inner periphery, which territory is administratively divided into four different regions. The possibilities of tourism development are discussed on the basis of analysis of localization and realization requirements and on the basis of interviews with actors, who are directly or marginally involved in tourism in the surveyed area. The thesis is complemented by map outputs and tables. The main findings of this thesis are that the surveyed area has suitable localization requirements for the development of tourism on regional or national level. Except of public transport, the realization requirements are also on a good level. However, in some cases would be appropriate additional research. It is clear from the interviews that the surveyed area is facing a number of problems. Due to that, current potential of tourism existing in this area is not sufficiently used. Better promotion of the territory regardless of regional borders, which would require deeper cooperation between individual actors, seems to be a possible solution. Key words: tourism, potential, development, periphery, countryside
Literary tourism in Czechia
Ulrychová, Tereza ; Fialová, Dana (advisor) ; Kotíková, Halina (referee)
The aim of the thesis was to clarify the role of literary tourism in Czechia and to evaluate its potential and possible uses. After that, a comparison based on foreign literature and sources was made between Czechia and other countries. The places selected in this thesis have a link to the life or work of a prominent Czech writer and seek to develop literary tourism, promote literature, attract visitors, etc. These are places where the writer's birthplace is open to the public and where museums with an exhibition focusing on that writer and the writer's works have been created and where literary festivals or other thematic events are organized etc. These places were approached with the offer of being involved in the making of a game called "Build your world" and a newly created smaller competition "In the footsteps of our writers". Collector magnets have been created for those who have agreed to be involved in these games. These magnets serve as a means to support the development of literary tourism in the Czech Republic and involve local actors in a nationwide event, which will raise awareness both of important writers and of the places associated with them. Very often the places involved are less visited ones. Key words: tourism, literary tourism, potential, Build your world, In the footsteps of...
The use of historic battlefields for tourism development in the Czech republic
ŠULITKOVÁ, Nikola
This bachelor thesis explores how to use the potencial of places where particular battles happened. It is a part of tourism which belongs to dark tourism, concretely military tourism. The research is done through a survey, which takes place in South Bohemia, mainly the town of Písek and its surroundings. The main objective is to find out, how to improve battlefields and adjacent areas for visitors. Destinations have to be more attractive to achieve higher attendance. This paper deals especially with the battlefield at Sudoměř, where the monument of Jan Žižka can be seen. It is the main tourist attraction in this location. The output of the research is to provide a report with recommendations to popularize the entire location and to prompt people to visit it.
