Family environment and adolescent alcohol consumption

This diploma thesis Family environment and adolescent alcohol consumpiton deals with a relationship between four dimensions of family environment and alcohol consumption of sixteen years old adolescents. These four dimensions are leisure time, family structure, parenting style and socioeconomic status. In the theoretical part family influence on child's development is described and then socialization process through which family influence child's development is delimited. Further, the relationship between family environment and alcohol consumption is discussed and then four dimensions of family environment are characterized in context of alcohol consumption. Relationship between family environment and alcohol consumption was studied using mixed research design. In the main quantitative part of the thesis general relationships between chosen dimensions of family environment and alcohol consumption indicators were examined using data from European School Project on Alcohol and Other Drugs (ESPAD) from the year 2007. Then a typology of adolescent alcohol consumers was made. Results of this part continued in the qualitative part. Pupils' perceptions of the demonstrations of lack of discipline during lessons on elementary schools

The topic of this thesis is the lack of discipline in the teaching process based on the perception of this issue second-degree students. The goal of the theoretical part of the thesis is with support of the professional literature to handle terminology and show what is the definition of the issue of discipline and indiscipline in the classroom of the second degree with an emphasis primarily on the causes of indiscipline, the role of teacher and lack of discipline solutions. The theoretical part contains the definition of discipline and perception. Further, there are characterized terms of school indiscipline, selected causes of lack of discipline and disciplinary means. The paper also emphasized the role of teachers, especially the authority of the teacher, his skills and attributes. There are also briefly described developmental traits of older school age in relation to discipline. The practical part is built on the survey and the use of group interviews with pupils of eighth and ninth grades of primary school. Late parenthood and its impact on parenting style

The thesis discusses the late parenthood and its impact on parenting style. The thesis is conceived as a theoretical and empirical studies. The theoretical part focuses on the phenomenon of the late parenthood, its definition and selected aspects. Defines voluntary and involuntary late parenthood and describes the current situation in the society in the Czech Republic. Describes the health risks associated with the late parenting, from conception until birth. Furthermore depicts selected theories of the education styles, describes how they are formed and what are the consequences for the child. The empirical part through a multiple case study focuses on analyzing the characteristics of the style of education in seven families of late mothers and the circumstances that led to the late parenthood.
The comparison of the educational environment of groups of adolescent girls with and without conduct disorders

The presented thesis deals with the comparison of the educational environment of adolescent girls with and without conduct disorders. It concentrates primarily on the educational environments of family and school, in respect of their importance for the socialization of the individual. The theoretical section first briefly characterizes the adolescent period in its bio- psycho-social aspects. Furthermore it is dedicated to the issue of conduct disorders, their classification, symptoms, but also the etiology or specifics of these problems in girls. In conclusion, it offers insight into correlation between different characteristics of the educational environments and conduct disorders with a focus on the specifics in girls. The empirical part then aims to compare the educational environment of girls with and without conduct disorders through twenty detailed case studies of girls aged fourteen to eighteen. One half of the studies concerns with girls placed in institutional facilities, because of their problematic behaviour. The other half is focused on girls without educational troubles. Transmission of values in the family

Thesis is concerned with the transmission of values and norms in the family. The goal is to quantify the level of transmission of values between children and parents. The second step is to identify what impact on transmission of value in the family has education of parents and parenting style, which apply to a child during adolescence. Underpinning the findings is the analysis of data file "Cultural and value orientations 2008", which is unique in that it includes real families (parents and their adult children). Attention is focused on the values for different levels of generality (the value frameworks, value orientations, attitudes and norms) and education in the family as a source of values. Analysis shows a high degree of agreement between parents and their children in the sphere of values. As the main variables that affect the transmission of values were identified education of parents and parenting style.
Parenting style of mothers and fathers of adolescent eyes

The thesis titled "Parenting style of mothers and fathers eyes adolescents' explores the differences of perception and evaluation of educational access of mothers and fathers to daughters and sons. The theoretical part contains basic information about the family, types of families, developmental characteristics during adolescence, types of educational styles. Part of this work is to present the research results of the educational style of mothers and fathers in terms of girls and boys. Data was collected using structured interviews with pupils eighth grade elementary school in March and April 2013.
Defiance in the man's life

This thesis deals with defiance in the man´s life. The thesis is divided in three chapters, which are theoretical. First chapter delas with defiance of the general, the second chapter is devoted the defiance in toddlers and third chapter is devoted the defiance in pubescents. In the second and the third chapter is time-limited period, reasons for defiance, emotional development of the individual, development of identity and parenting styles, which can help affect child´s behavior. In the practical part are three case reports. The parents here talk about their family situation. The parents mention examples of child´s defiance, their solution, and together we determined, which of the parenting styles in theoretical part, they use. I find whether theory can be the basis for practice.
